Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a long while. I unfortunately came down with a flu-ish virus and strep throat at the same time. I'm telling you right now that that is absolutely not a good combination. Trust me!

I'm so excited that the strike was like an early birthday present. I'm now looking so forward to new episodes and hopefully more D/L. I've been watching clips on my iPod (It's kind of funny. I'll fast forward, and watch only them and then go on to the next episode.) a lot lately, reminding me of their first few moments. I have to tell you, some of those are the best ones. They were so cute way back when.

Cute pics by the way. These two make my heart flutter...and I'm not exactly the most fluffy person.

Well, okay, to tell the truth, I did have incredibly smutty thoughts when I did ask the question. I just wanted answers that just weren't so smutty Though...right now I really can't think of why. Who doesn't love D/L smut? And them riding :devil: VROOM VROOM

But yeah, I thought about the department SUV since that's probably the more logical explanation. I don't think it was a taxi though because she's more than capable of flagging a taxi down on her own.

Okay so seriously - mental flash (the white exploding kind, not the opening of clothes kind ) of D/L on the couch watching Jurassic Park. Haha, Danny'll be all macho until the T-Rex freaks him out a bit and he jumps. Linds would probably get more pleasure from watching his weird faces than the actual movie. :lol:

Oh and I agree with Stuffy, Liffer your new avie and your new banner are gorgeous! Especially your banner, that is love babes...seriously!

That's an excellent idea. They will have room left from the 3 eps that this season will be missing. Well, I kinda understand what you mean; the more their relationship is pushed on the foreground, the more likely it is that our dear returned writers would use that opportunity to create some drama. But on the other hand it will mean that we can expect lots of D/L scenes, with perhaps some angst before a totally fluffy happy ending.

I do love the bantering and the teasing, but I feel that there has to be some progress in their relationship and now that the strike is over I'm so curious if they've decided to pick up on D/L again, show us how things REALLY are after the events of SD...Perhaps -to make a believable transit- they can add a scene where Lindsay and Stella are working together and Stella asks Lindsay how things are between her and Danny...and Lindsay could say that they decided to take things slow, have a few real dates, get to know each other even better outside work and that the death of Ruben made it even harder, but that they are still willing and trying to make it work ...After that it would make more sense later on in the season when we get to see a date, kiss or another pool scene :devil:...(or all three - I'm not picky )

QUESTION: At the end of 2x24: CoTP, Danny asks Lindsay if she still wants that ride. What kind of ride would that be do you think? (And no...this is a clean question which actually doesn't include any kind of dirty smut what so ever. Aren't y'all proud of me?)

Sorry, you had to know that I could not answer that question and have no dirty ideas whatsoever...Bike, cab, SUV, subway, no matter what I come up with it all ends in the gutter :devil:...This is just like asking why they ended up naked on the pool table and the answer may not contain sex ...I'm proud of you for trying, though...

Big scenes with D/L or small scenes....I don't care I just want my D/L. But I can see that having bigger storylines or scenes could possibly give way to angsty situations that could be potentially damaging. But something more substantial needs to happen between these two to cement the fact that they do form a perfect heart. Our imaginations can run wild with anything D/L, but if they are going to handle D/L as a couple, we need a little more than "somethin' something".

The other night I was dreaming about a multitude of things: ex-boyfriends, laundry, dancing with ex-boyfriends and the laundry, but also about D/L. GO figure. I really need something else than that. But anyway, I dreamed that they were simply talking about his stuff over at her house. They were talking about some little things too...him leaving a mess in the bathroom, her using too many candles...But it was cute and simple. I don't want to see them fighting over car payments or whether or not they will have kids yet, but I like the little things---they make life special.

What one word do you think both Danny and Lindsay can say to describe each other?

For Lindsay, I would have to say that Danny thinks of her as compassionate. She has been there for him through the death of Ruben to the Tanglewood situation in Season 2.

For Danny, I would have to say that Lindsay would think of Danny as strong-willed. He is her rock that she leans on.

oh, the eternal question of big scenes versus small moments. IMHO it doesnt really matter how big or important it is but what happens in the scene. and I wish to finally see them out of work. it doesnt have to be nothing big just the two of them together and NOT working. other then that Im quite content with scenes such as in PwM, CS or even Boo. but it would be totally sweet if thez kissed before the end of the season. but my hopes are not high on that one

That's exactly what I mean. Even though we definately will get more D/L if they're constantly on the forefront of the writers' mind, not only does that increase the chance for angst (face it, not everyone enjoys a relationship that works on screen), and unless I am completely sure that there will be a happy, fluffy ending, I'd rather go along the fluff road anyday.

If the writers spin that well, the scene could really work. It should be something in passing, just some friendly talk. It would be funny if the two were 'gossipping' and Danny pops up from behind asking what they're whisperin' about. I can just picture the innocent, yet red faces looking up at him. Haha.

I think, for Lindsay, Danny is a rock. He's hard-headed, stubborn, but he's also supportive and reliable. A pretty smooth rock

For Danny, Linds is probably just the same to him. Rocks can be pret-ty surprising at times...

interesting is a little under-statement here...Talk about a situation to really test their relationship...I think that if the damage is repairable that he would forgive her (after a while) and can even tease her about it, but I'm sure she's never allowed to drive it again ...When the bike is beyond saving I hope that the relief that Lindsay is okay will be enough for him, but she will have to promise him a new bike and make it up to him in every way imaginable... :devil:

You know what? That scene would so totally work if she was pinching his actual cheeks. Maybe he did something and she found it overly 'cute' and she'd pinch his cheeks and laugh at him and he'd just stand there, in mock-annoyance, rubbing his cheek, and trying to stop from grinning. Someone clears their throat and Danny turns around, to his dismay, his boss and best friend - the former with raised eyebrows, the latter with a large grin, tugging his own cheeks with his fingers. :lol: Poor Danny, Flack will never let him live it down...

Another funny sight is Danny trying in vain to childishly ignore Linds for the day. He'd be stealing glances at her, and she'd grin at him, and he's smack himself on the head for being so darn in love that he can't seem to stop himself thinking about her. :lol:

I'm looking forward to the new episodes. Honestly, to me this season hasn't been the greatest (S2 holds that record), and yes - I fully admit that it is because there has been a lack of DL. Some of the cases have been just blah, but DL makes the show for me. I hope the writers get their heads on straight now that the strike is over with. Ah well - all we can do is wait and see.

I loved your idea for a scene between Linds and Stella, having Linds talk about them taking it slow and giving themselves a real chance and how Ruben's death made that harder but they're not going to give up on eachother! I loved that and I would LOVE to see an actual scene like that! And I think the writers could totally do a scene like that without making it a big break from the rest of the show...the writers are talented they could make it flow! That would so rock if we got some kind of "explanation-this-is-where-we-are" scene like that! Oh please PTB, please!!

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing them arrive at a scene together and us getting a clue that they were at dinner or something. We could have Danny being called in by Mac or whomever, and he's getting dressed at his apartment, and as he leaves his bedroom he sneaks a glance back at a peacefully slumbering Lindsay (whom we get to see). Danny smiles and gently closes the door behind him as to not wake her. Not only would Liffers get to see a nekkid Lindsay again, all us gals would get to see Danny's yummy chest. So it's a win-win situation

Another good scene would be them out at a nice restaurant and talking about their relationship. Perhaps Danny could explain to her his feelings about Ruben's tragic death and tell her why he acted the way he did - especially after Playing with Matches, where it seemed as if Danny had suddenly moved on. It would be great to see him talking to her about things.
