CSI Level Two
And yet you knewI normally don't come in here
I agree on the 'bitch' and the 'house' part, but I think the Lady V. is not that uncalled for...it's more of a metaphor; after all she can be seen as the one who 'destructed' the magical world that has been created here around our ship...
Well, perhaps you didn't call her names or wished for bad things to happen to her, but you should think twice before speaking on behalf of all the others shippers you mention...Because I know for a fact that there have been some pretty harsh things said about Lindsay's character too and about wishing she would get shot, fall into an abbys, etc. Now, I know, for a fact, that you guys would not want the same thing said to Lindsay. I know, that us Rikki/Danny shippers or Danny/Flack shippers have never talked about her like that. God knows I've never called her a "Bitch" or said have a house fall on her.
I still feel that all three people involved are somehow victims of their own emotions and are hurting each other at the moment, but I know that there are others here who blame Danny and/or Rikki - and this is about the only place on this board where they can vent that anger and discuss it with others who feel the same or at least understand where it's coming from...
Right! And we're certainly not calling the actors names, but merely the characters. It's a TV show
I really, really like that point of view and I don't believe I've come across it yet. It could be that he, with Rikki, had created some kind of bubble made up of their shared emotions to temporarly shield them from the outside world and all the hurt and grief, but they both knew that it couldn't last eternally so they tried to hold on to it just a bit longer...Peaches said the following brilliant thing:
What I do appreciate is that the whole breakfast thing wasn't a 'hey you're my new gf, f*** buddy and I can't bear not to be with you' it was more of a 'if she leaves then it makes it official, it shouldn't have happened and when she leaves it won't happen again'.
Lindsay's confession has been the needle to pop that bubble.
