Chapter 52:
“Hey Mac, where are we going?” Stella looked at him, he had just turned the car in the opposite direction than their home.
“I just want you to look at something first honey.” He smiled as he turned further down the road.
After another 10 minutes of secrecy, Mac stopped outside a house near central park, something about the house reminded her a little of Stuart little.
“What are we doing here?” Stella looked at Mac, he still wasn’t talking.
“Take Lilly would ya?” Mac smiled as he picked up Sara and Julie and went towards the house.
“Okay, but wait up.” She laughed, Mac seemed so nervous.
“Like it?” Mac smiled as he almost dragged her further inside the house.
“It’s ours if we want it, I’ve been through it with the bank advisor, we can afford it.” He smiled even more, from one ear to the other actually.
”Are you serious? This can be ours?” Stella couldn’t believe her own eyes, this was what she’d always dreamt of, and it was big enough for all 7 of them, including Angie and Vanessa of course.
”Yes, I’m very serious, but you just need to look at one more thing.” He almost dragged her and the kids to the garden, a beautiful garden, and big, she could just imagine sitting in the grass, playing with the kids.
”Wow Mac, this is fabulous.” She kissed him, but tried not to hurt the kids.

“Come on Angie, hurry up…” Stella laughed, they had shared the best times in this apartment, but was now moving out.
”Don’t worry mom, this is my last box.” Angie laughed too, “Do you think Danny and Lindsay will be okay with the troops? I mean, Vanessa in her self can be a challenge, but with the trips…”
“They’ll be alright, they promised to call me if there was anything.” Stella carried her last box out of the apartment, followed by Angie.
Mac was already at the new place, just finishing up some things, before they would arrive with their last stuff.
“Are you okay mom?” Angie looked at her, Stella hadn’t even realised that she had stopped halfway down the stairs.
“Yea, it’s just, a lot have happened on the last 4 years, since I should’ve married your dad.” Stella looekd away for a second, to hide the tear that was running down her cheek, she was happy now, with Mac and their family but she still missed Jimmy somehow.
“I know Mom. But if it makes a difference, I’m happier than ever now, I still miss dad, sure, and I miss Mom, but I have you and Mac now, and three sisters and a daughter. Life couldn’t be much better for me.” Angelina continued down the stairs, so did Stella, the box was pretty heavy.
