Chapter 76:
“Don was the kind of guy, that could definitely light up any situation, always had a joke ready, but still, he was a person, that you could always count on, if you were going through a hard time, he was right there with you…” Stella took a deep breath, she had never imagined she would be speaking at Dons funeral, especially not when he died like this.
“He was a very dear friend, and a person that no one will ever forget, if they had gotten to know him. He.. umm.. He could always lighten up our work, even at the most horrible scenes. Don, I’ll never forget you, you were a true friend…”

“Man, you know, I don’t know what I’m going to say, Don was my best friend, he was my partner through anything. There’s just nothing that will ever be the same without him.” Danny wiped a tear of his cheek.
“With a friend like Don, there was always someone there to laugh with you, laugh at you, and support you, whenever you felt like nothing mattered. But Pal, that’s the feeling you’ve left me with, I’ll fight on, for my family, and friends, just like you would’ve done, if it were any of us here today.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Don was the person, that convinced me, that what I was doing was right, when I, when Stella and I got married, Don was there on the sideline, to help me, because I was so nervous, that my legs could barely carry me.” Mac smiled nervously, not afraid to show people his tears.
“Because that was what he did, he helped people, he was a good person, and a great friend. We’ll miss you Don.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
“He was… something special, both annoying, but always supportive, and protective. He was the worlds best brother. I don’t know how I can go through life without him, he was my rock.” Samantha gave in to the tears, she couldn’t say anymore, but what she had said, was enough for them to realise that Don was gone for good, and he would never come back.
