Feeling more like herself Anya, Nat and Caroline headed back downstairs.

"Oh Anya. How are you feeling?"

"Really tired Mac, thanks for asking."

"Listen Anya we really need you to remember what happened today at that Clinic."

"I know you do. But everything is still fuzzy. Like I told Nat. I remember Tyler screaming. Speaking of Tyler where is he?"

"He's under the table with Michael. He's been traumatized by something that happened at that appointment."

"I'm sorry. I just can't remember."

Mac was getting frusterated. How the hell were they supposed to help Tyler if they didn't know what affected him.

"Look Anya. I know you were drugged. But we need you to think really hard. Tyler needs help. Just look at your son. He's beyond fear."

Looking under the table she could see Tyler gripping his daddy tightly. She could see his wide opened, to terrified to close them.

*crying*.."I don't remember. I'm sorry Tyler. So sorry you got hurt. Please Mac, I honestly can't remember. What are we going to do to help him?"

"I don't know. Though I have one idea. Michael take him in with MJ. Lay him down beside him."

"What's that going to do dad? How is that going to help?"

"It might not son. But then again it may. MJ and Tyler are close. Very close. Having the two of them together again may help Tyler talk about the inncident today. Or at least give us some insight on what happened in that room."

"I hope so dad."

Getting up from under the table Michael took Tyler into MJ's room. Laying him down beside his brother, MJ wrapped his brother up in his good side.

"Your brother misses you MJ. So I brought him to keep you company."

Leaving the room, Michael left the door slightly ajar hoping to hear Tyler talk to his brother.

Back in the living room Natalia was wondering what they were going to do about Anya's care now.

"Mac I think we need to discuss who's going to be taking over Anya's care."

"I've already checked into that. I've also checked into the background of this Dr.Froth. We talked a bit earlier, he seems fine with taking over her care. He's also been informed about Jill Girrard. so the rest is up to Anya. It's her decision."

Everyone could feel the tension in Mac. Everyone could tell he had had enough of all the family differences and anger. They knew he was the rock that held them all together. They knew he was in pain because this was one problem he couldn't fix. No matter how he tried.

"Calm down Mac. We are going to get this family back on track. Why don't you take a walk."

"I don't need no damn walk Stella. What I need is this family put back together. Cause to me it seems like we're not getting anywhere, except further apart."

Storming out of the room he walked into his little office and slammed the door.

"Don't cry mom. It's going to be okay."

"I hope you are all right. For all our sakes."

When Eric got home he found Mackenzie feeding Eric Jr.

"Eric...where have you been? I've been calling all night for you."

"I know. I'm sorry I was busy with Don. We had a stake out, then I had to go out and find your niece who ran away. Now I need you and the kids to get over to mom and dads. There's alot you need to be told. So let's go."

Mackenzie was confused. Eric was acting distant. Had been for a while.

"Are you okay Eric? You seem upset."

"I'll be fine Mackenzie. Once we get this all straightened out things will be fine. Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiids....let's go. Now!!!!"

"Eric!!! What's the tone for?"

Sighing he called them again.

"Girls, we need to go to nana and papas, can you hurry please. Better Mac. I'll wait in the car."

While Tyler laid beside his brother he softly cried. Trying to get his body to function he couldn't. Taking his good hand he stroked his brothers hair. So badly MJ wanted to talk to him. But how could he, when MJ could hardly speak in words Tyler would understand.

"She hurt me MJ. She hurt my arm. She tried to poke me with a needle and I screamed but mommy wouldn't help me. I was so scared MJ, what if she comes back for me? I'm so scared."

MJ felt the tears fall from his eyes. God how badly he wanted to get out of that bed. As if his mom hadn't done enough to him. She couldn't even protect her own son.

Trying to talk, he hoped Tyler would understand him.

"Shh...iiiis ooookay. Shhh..Iiii ot ou. No...noooo ooone ill urt ou."

Michael was listening. He could hear and see his son trying desperately to move himself to face his brother. Walking into the room, he picked up MJ and positioned him on his good side. The placing himself behind his sons back, he held him so he could face his little brother. Then taking MJ's weak arm, he placed it over Tyler. Helping him feel protected.

Snuggled together on the bed MJ felt his fathers love. A feeling he had long forgotten since he was stabbed.

"I love you son. I'm so sorry everything is so messed up right now. I'm sorry you hate your mom, I can only hope one day we all can heal and get back what we've all lost along the way. I know it's hard MJ. I also know it's no excuse, but your mom is sick son. Not like you. Your mom's is in her mind. She sees haunting things from her past that scare her. Causing her to lose sense on what is real.

I don't expect you to forgive her for her words. I only hope one day you will. For she didn't mean it. But no matter the outcome between you and your mom, I'll always love you both the same. That will never change son. I just thought you should know that."

Kissing him on the head, he snuggled him and Tyler closer.

"Daddy?"

"Yes son?"

"She tried to hurt me. That doctor hurt my arm, she tried to poke me with a needle. I screamed but mommy wouldn't help me. I was so scared daddy. I had no one to help me."

"I know son. Daddy is so sorry I wasn't there to protect you. I'm so sorry son. I promise you in time we will all heal our hurt. I also promise you that no one will ever hurt you again Tyler. That doctor was ill son. But I swear to you not all doctors are like that. Most doctors help us, not hurt us."

"I know daddy. But she still scared me. She was so mean daddy. Her face was really angry."

Wrapping his boys tighter. He held them close till they fell asleep. Then getting up he placed pillows behind his son to prop him on his side. Walking towards the door he looked back with a teardrop on his face, and shut the door.

back in the living room Michael noticed his dad was missing.

"Mom!! Where's dad?"

"He's in his office. I tried to talk to him but he's to upset right now."

"You want me to try?"

Caressing her sons face she whispered...

"That's okay Michael. When your dad is ready he'll talk. How's Tyler doing? Did you find out anything?"

"I did. It seems Susan tried to inject him with a syringe. He struggled and she gripped his arm. If not for Natalia showing up when she did, I don't know what would have happened to them."

"Try not to think about son. Eric and the team will catch her. She can run all she wants. But eventually everyone slips up."

"I know mom. What time is Mackenzie and the girls coming?

"Hopefully soon. I'd really like to get this family in order."

Nodding that he understood. Michael watched at the door for his sister and her family.

When they pulled up to the house. The first thing Mackenzie noticed was her brothers tears. God it had been so long since they talked. She knew he had been in pain, she could feel it every few minutes. Their closeness was unique.

Getting out of the Hummer with little Eric in her arms, she walked towards the front door.

"Shannon take your brother into the house."

"Sure mom. Hey where's daddy going?"

Watching Eric pull out, Mackenzie become more confused then she was before.

"He must have got a call out Shannon. Take your brother into the house."

Once the girls shut the door, Mac took her brother into his arms as he broke into sobs.

"Hey!! Come on bro. It's going to be okay. Just let it all out. I'm right here with you."

Continuing to caress his back, she held him tighter as he gripped his fingers around her hair. God she was his rock. She was the only one that could keep him from falling apart. Even since they were little, it was always his Mac that protected him, taught him, loved him like a brother should be loved.

"Can you tell me what's been happening? Eric wouldn't tell me much of anything, except about Susan."

"There's so much sis. I just don't know where to start."

"How about with the so called Psychologist. Eric said she's really Jill Girrard? That must have a shock in itself."

"It was sis. Then Caroline ran away from the Clinic. So I had to leave Anya and Tyler with that psycho. While we were searching for Caroline she tried to kill Tyler. If not for Nat getting there in time, I don't know what would have happened to my son, or to Anya."

"I know that had to be scary Michael. But you have to remember they are fine. They made it out before it got worse. You used your smarts bro. Remember that. You were the one who called Nat to get them. It was your instincts that were spot on."

Michael was begining to feel better already. He could feel his sister filling his soul with her beautiful spirit.

"So how's Tyler doing now? Is he talking about it? Or is he still traumatized?"

"I think he's still a little traumatized but he opened up to MJ, then to me when we had our father sons threesome. God I've missed that sis. I've missed so much of my childrens lives over these last few months. I don't know if we'll ever get it all back."

"I want you to listen to me Michael. We are all going to get back what we had. I promise you that much. Once we all sit down together, we will bond again, become the strong unit we were before all this hurt and anger hit our family. We've suffered worse tragedy's then this. Our family is made of strong love. We will get through this."

"Thanks sis. I love you so much. I could never ask or want a better sister."

"Aww...me either. How's dad and mom handling all this?"

"Not good. Dad snapped today. He won't come out of the den. Mom's in tears cause she doesn't know how to help him.

"That's daddy. Always trying to be the one to put us all back together. I can understand his confusion and anger. It's hard when you help your family through any obstacle, then all of a sudden the scales tip, leaving you torn and hurt cause there is no one cure to the mess we've endured."

"Yeah, I guess your right sis. How'd you get so smart?"

"That's easy bro. Dad gave me all the brains and you all the braun. Now let's go put our family back together."

Walking into the house Mackenzie was still worried about Eric and his odd behaviour. But it would be a cold day in hell before she put her problems first. For in her heart she knew her family was first and foremost the ones that needed to be healed.

the bro/sis talk was great! :)

Walking into the house the first thing Mackenzie noticed was Danny sitting on the couch.

"You okay sis?"

"Hmm..yeah. I'm fine. Don't worry. Hi mom."

"Hi sweetheart. How you doing?"

"Good. Where's daddy?"

"He's in his office love. Best just to leave him."

"Are you kidding? I need him. I'll be right back."

Knocking on her fathers door she got no response. Using her little game she played with him when she was little she said...

"Little wolf, little wolf, let me come in. I want to kiss you on your chinny chin chin."

She could hear the clicking of the door.

"Works everytime, doesn't it daddy?"

Walking into the room she wrapped her arms around his neck and held him tight.

"Remember when I was little daddy? You always said that little line to me, to get me to open my door."

"I remember Angel. How's li'l Eric and my grandaughters?"

"Good. Why don't you come out daddy. It's time to fix our family."

"How Mackenzie? How are we going to fix so many problems. It just can't be done."

"What?? This coming from a Taylor who pounded it into our heads that Taylor's never give up. Come on dad, you are our rock. Always have been. So let us give some of the rock back. Let's get out there and work together for a solution."

Sighing deep Mac knew she was right. But he was just so tired.

"I know you're tired dad. I can see in your eyes, and your soul. But this isn't something only you can fix. You need to understand that. This is a problem that is going take all of us in unison to figure out. Don't you get it dad, that's been the problem all along. You tried to solve the biggest hurt we ever suffered, all on your own. Like it or not dad, you need to learn to share responsibility with all of us."

"How did you get so smart love?"

"Oh my God daddy. I'll tell you the same thing I told Michael. You gave me all the brains and him all the braun. Now come on daddy. Let's go fix our family. Together."

When Eric arrived at the beach house he opened the door.

"What the hell did I tell you? Never call me at home right?"

"I'm sorry man. I got freaked. I thought I heard him coming."

"Look as Don and I told you before. No one can touch you here. You are well guarded. But if you keep using that outside line someone is going to trace it, and find you. You have to follow our orders to the letter."

"I know Eric. I'm sorry. I'm getting antsy here. This is a huge testimony on my part. I can't help it if I don't feel safe. You should have sent me away."

"That wasn't the deal. Look I'll have Don come by and check on you. Just stop using the damn phone before you get yourself killed."

"Alright. I get it. Just tell Don to bring some cards or something."

"I will. Now stay away from the phone. I'll be back tonight."

Heading back out Eric didn't notice the two guys in the undercover car across the street weren't his undercover Officers.

"Hey Don. I need to come babysit the witness for a bit. I have to get over to a family meeting. Then I'll be back."

"Okay Eric. I'm on my way."

Pulling out of the driveway. The two guys watched.
