Hmm, getting out of control ... This Sleazy, Disreputable and Despicable animal ... He had sexual relations between his own sister and he couldn't accept of what's that coming. He made decisions too easy, there could be lots of way in solving this problem. Mac.. Mac.. Hmm, I can't wait to read what's coming.. GREAT chapter. Get to know how some humans in this world are. May have been very cold blooded..

I've done alot of thinking with this fic. I've decided instead of going into a New Generation three, I'm just going to end it at the 1000 post, and then write an epi.

But I will be writing the epi as a continuation incase at a later time I decide to start a third installment.

So thanks for all the FB you've given and for being such devoted readers.:)

Okay, Linda. Whatever your decisions is, I will open my hand wide to welcome everything. As in, I'll appreciate it very very much.

You're welcome.. It's Linda's stories that made me smile and full of composure and equanimity. Thank you, Linda.

When Mac didn't return home at eight that evening. Stella was worried.

"Come on mom. He's okay. He's just cooling off somewhere."

"I don't Eric. He's never done this before. I think I'm going to have look for him. Watch Michelle for me."

"Of course mom. But you don't even know where to look."

"I have an idea. I'll be back soon."

Heading out Stella began driving. Pulling into the parking lot she got out and walked inside the blues bar. Sure enough there he was playing his guitar.

Sitting down on a stool Stella ordered a coffee and waited for his playing to end. As he looked up he seen her. God what memories came flooding back to the nights she'd watch him play in NY.

Putting down the Bass he borrowed, he headed over to the table, took her hand and walked with her outside. Still not saying anything they continued to walk along the beach.

The silence was really upsetting Stella. For they had always talked about everything, never did they hold their feelings back from each other. Coming to a stop by the shore. He turned her into his arms, layed his head on her shoulder, and cried.

Gripping him tighter, she hung onto him for dear life. God she could feel his anguish and pain from the heartache they had seen today.

"Maaac...talk to me please. Tell me how you're feeling. Please Mac."

"It's not right Stella. What happened today, what happened to our daughter, none of it makes sense. It was like reliving her nightmare all over again only with a more violent ending. I keep thinking that we should have checked on her more. We should have never left our children behind when we made the move to Miami."

"Oh Mac. You have to stop playing this over in your mind. We've done nothing wrong as parents. You need to stop blaming yourself for our daughters actions. I love our children as much as you do, but there comes a time when they need to make their own paths. The most we can do is be there when and if they fall. Trust me Mac, I thank God everyday that she was smart enough to get out when she seen a safe escape for her and our grandbabies."

"I know you're right Stel. But I just keep playing it back in my mind. If we had of still been in NY, she would have never needed to escape. We would have been right there with her from the begining."

She knew Mac was making valid points. She also began to realize that something else was bothering Mac. Caressing his tears with her fingertips she softly smiled at him.

"What else is troubling you Mac?"

"I lost my cool today Stell. I almost killed that suspect. If Danny and Eric hadn't of been there I would have. I could feel my body, my mind telling me to kill him. I'm thinking it's a sign Stel. I think I'm going to give Eric his position back. I hope you can understand love."

"Understand? I more then understand Mac. I feel the same way. I thought I wanted to be back in the field. I could taste it, but then it all changed. It wasn't what it use to be. So much has changed Mac. I never realized how much we were enjoying our retirement until it disappeared."

Mac and Stella could both feel the weight lifting from their shoulders. They could feel the freedom of their life they enjoyed coming back.

"So...no regrets then love? No chance of changing your mind?"

"Not a one Mac. As long as we have each other, our grandbabies, our children life is perfect."

"Hmm...almost perfect. How is Eric going to feel about having his position back? For that matter how's Mackenzie going to feel?"

"She'll adjust Mac. We'll be there to help them readjust to the hectic life they once had." She laughed.

Wrapping his beautiful wife in his arms, he passionately kissed her , as they headed home to tell the children of their decision.

Hmm, THAT WAS adorable.. Very Pleasing. Picturing them walking in silence hand in hand. They'll have more time for each. and kids.. Hmm.. Hopefully Mackenzie and Eric will understand them. I'm sure they'll cope up with their life with the help of their parents.

When they got home Eric and Mackenzie were waiting.

"Hi daddy. I see mom found you."

"She did love. Listen. I need to talk to you both. It concerns the lab."

Sitting down Eric tried to figure out what was going on.

"Eric. We need to let you know we've come to a very important decision. I'm handing the lab back over to you. I've decided I just don't have the patients for it anymore. I could have killed that suspect today and not thought twice about it."

"What about mom? She leaving too?"

"She is son. We've both been missing our retirement. We know this means you'll have a hectic schedual again. So we want to make sure you both know that we will be here to help with the girls."

Eric wasn't sure what to say. He was expecting them to come home and tell him they were quiting.

"Umm..okay. Have you let the Chief know yet?"

"We'll call him first thing in the morning Eric. Are you okay with taking back the lab?"

"Yeah. Yeah. It's just going to be hard to get into the swing of things again."

"I know son. I'll still be here to help you if you need it. plus you have Danny and Sheldon. You'll be fine Eric."

"I guess you're right dad. Though this is alot to take in."

The following morning Mac and Stella handed in their badges and weapons to the Department. After saying good bye to the team, they headed home to start their retirement all over again.

Epi....

As the months progressed Eric and Mackenzie learned how to balance life between their jobs and their children. While Mac and Stella continued to keep everyones lives in the balance of happiness.

Who knows what would happen in the months or years to come. It's something we will all have to wait to find out.

The End.

This is the complete story on The Younger Generation. As you can tell I've left the Epi open to continue this story again one day. But for now. For now we put the Taylor/Delkos to bed.

Thank you again to all my readers. I'm sorry we didn't make it to a thousand. But for me the story was at its end. It was time for me to move on to a new story....

"Don't forget to say Good-bye."

Hmm, I'm glad that Eric understand them. I know he can do it~! It takes time only. Aw.. Lovely Mac and Stella and their kids/grand children.

FIRST OF ALL, thank you for this story, Linda. It's okay. What's the best for us.. I'll love it.

I guess it's time for me to say GOODBYE "The Younger Generation". Will miss you.. I know you'll come back someday in the the future. Asprine will always be waiting for you.

Aww, that was a great story and a great ending. Thanks for keeping us entertained with this one (and all the others). I enjoyed it. :)

That was a PERFECT ending to the Generation fic after following the 2 (I think thats right or was it three) I can remember when Mac delivered the twins

Thank you for this fics :bolian: that I hope for it very quickly aura a continuation.
Taylor et Delko family having no very calm life, I am on that they are going again to arrive at them full of event :guffaw:

Thanks for all your feedback and for understanding. I can honestly say that this fic will be restarted soon. Once I get a few RL issues out of the way and this other story finished I will start it again. But for now I've done a little Halloween story for you all to enjoy. It won't be more then three chapters, but it will be fun.

We are jumping ahead five years.

Michelle is 7 (Mac &Stella)

Sara,Shannon and Sharon are now 12. Sarina,Selina and Sasha are 6. (Delko's)

MJ is now 13, Caroline is 8, and Tyler is 5 (Michael & Anya)

Lindsay is 14 (Danny &Natalia)

Okay hope I covered everyone:lol:

Halloween Day.

Mac and Stella were getting everything ready for the Halloween party tonight. Oh they new this was going to be huge. For not only was family coming and half of Miami-Dade. They had also told each of the grandchildren they could invite five friends to come.

"Sweetheart? Remind me why we are doing this again? And where the hell is Eric, Mackenzie, Michael and Anya? They were supposed to be here hours ago."

Walking over Stella took her fusterated husband into her arms.

"Awww...come on Mac. Just relax. Here have a candy corn."

"I don't want one Stel. I just want everyone here to help."

"I know Mac."

"Hey dad, mom, we're here."

"It's about time Michael. What took you so long and where is your sister and Eric?"

"We had to pick up the skeltons dad. Look aren't they cool? They glow. Where do you want me to hang them? As for Mackenzie and Eric, I don't know. I tried calling them but got no answer."

"Hang one over in the hall near the front door, put one at the back, and one in living room by the DJ table."

"Hi mom. What do you need help with?"

"You can help me with the desserts. The Caterer should be hear shortly with the food. Until then there isn't much else to do."

Looking around Anya had to admit the house looked really spooky.

"Think this is going to scare the younger ones?"

"I doubt it Anya. But how are you and Michael going to keep Lindsay and MJ apart tonight?"

"Hmm..we haven't really thought about that."

"Has Michael lightened up on MJ a little after catching them in that kiss?"

"Sort of. Though I don't think Michael will ever get over it. It was a pretty heated kiss. I can honestly tell you this. If MJ kisses anything like his father, then Lindsay's in trouble. For she won't be able to form a coherant thought to stop him."

"Mm..yup. Gotta love those Taylor lips. They were definitely made for kissing."

"What was made for kissing love?"

"Your lips Mac. Your sweet strong lips."

Smirking widely, he kissed his beautiful wife.

"Mooooooooooom, Daaaaaaaaaaad, we're here."

"So you bellowed. Must you always be so loud Mackenzie?"

"Sorry dad. When you come from a house full of six screaming girls you're bound to forget what quiet is."

Looking at his daughter he could see she was just starting to show.

"Did you have that Ultrasound yet?"

"Yup. As far as they can see it's only one this time. But Eric and I aren't buying it. Not this time. We are keeping our minds open for another three."

"I hope for your sake that Ultrasound is right. I also hope God blesses you both with a boy this time?"

"Thanks Daddy, so do we."

Looking over at the time Mac noticed it was three thirty.

"One, two, three..."

"Paaaaaaaaaaaaaapa, naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaana, we are all here."

Mac tried to run and hide, but not before his grandbabies had tackled him to the ground.

"Ouff."

"We missed you papa. Did you miss us."

Mac tried to cover his ears. God the girls were loud. How the hell did Eric and Mackenzie do it.

"Yes I missed you all. But now I'm deaf."

The girls laughed. They still found their papa had the funniest things to say. Letting him up the girls tossed their bags and tried to take some candy.

"Oh no you don't. Sara and Shannon you two need to get those dogs out for a run. Sharon you still have that two hours of quiet time for your antics this morning with Serina."

"Oh come on mom. I didn't hurt her. besides I used water based paint. It came off."

"That's not the point. Now sit."

Flopping down on the couch, she began to pout.

"That isn't going to work young lady."

Walking away from her daughter, Eric walked over and passed her a cookie.

"Shh..don't tell."

"Smooth Eric. Way to keep your daughter in line." Laughed Michael.

Turning around Michael seen his son come through the door with Lindsay.

"Hah...looks like the kissing twins are here." Smirked Eric.

"That's not funny Eric. Just wait till your girls start bringing home boys."

Eric's smile left his face.

"Hah. That shut you up didn't it."

Walking away from Eric, he headed over to his son.

"Hi son. How was your day?"

"It was good dad. I'm going for a walk with Lindsay."

"No you're not. You are going to help finish blowing balloons up. That way I know your lips are being kept busy where I can see them."

"Dad!!!!"

"Sorry son. Lindsay I think your dad and mom are in the kitchen."

"Thanks Michael. I'll see you later MJ."

Walking down the hall, MJ was watching her.

"Get those eyes back in your head son. Let's go."

Mackenzie was upstairs with the girls getting them ready.

"Mom. I invited David, I hope that's okay. He's very nice."

Mackenzie remembered Eric's words from Michael. "Wait till it happens to you."

"Umm...I thought you were inviting your girlfriends?"

"I did mom. Suzie, and Marnie are bringing their dates, and I'm bringing David, that's my five friends."

"Okay. There you go, all done. You look like a real rocker."

"Cool. Look how tight those pants are, thanks so much mom, Davids going to think I'm really hot."

"Next???" Yelled Mackenzie as she tried to keep her cool.

Once the girls were done, she went in search of her husband.

"Eric, a moment please."

"What's the matter Mac? You look upset."

"I am. Come over here. I need to talk."

"What??"

"Do you know what I just found out from our daughter?"

"Which one? We have six?"

"Not funny Eric."

"I'm sorry sweetheart. Okay. What did you find out?"

"Shannon invited David. Some young boy from school. You know what else she said....?"

"No what?"

"Oh mom, these pants are so tight. Davids going to like them. Then I remember Michael's words from you. Wait till it happens to you. Well it's happening Eric, and I don't like it."

Wrapping his wife in his arms, he just held her till she settled down.

"It's going to be okay Mackenzie. We'll keep a good eye on them. I promise nothing will happen."

"I hope you are right Eric. Cause the last thing I need to see are our daughters lips attached to some boys."

With everything ready they all waited for their friends and guests to arrive. Oh the Taylors/Delkos knew they had their hands full tonight watching the kids, but they also knew their was enough family and friends to make sure things didn't get out of hand.

tbc....
