Question: Is it true that CSI:NY's Danny and Lindsay will wed in February? -- Sherry
Ausiello:
There's an episode coming up that executive producer Peter Lenkov promises will make D&L fans very happy. Rough translation: YES!

*throws hands up in the air*

The very fact that they actually come out and say that they are getting married and that the spoilers indicated that it is at some office( I forgot what kind, sorry) makes me think that they actually are not gonna get a happily ever after.

I kind of wondered about that, too, but I don't know if the show itself is that daring. :p It's a lot of saccharine, totally predictable stuff, but then the CSI shows don't really push the envelope when it comes to truly shocking twists. Aside from Warrick's death--which, while shocking, could also be predicted since rumor was Gary Dourdan was A Very Bad Boy--on CSI, the CSI shows don't go out on a limb with really dark character twists in the way, say, a show like 24 does.

So while I'd like to say all this saccharine stuff upfront for Danny and Lindsay means that there's a shocking dark twist coming, given the show's history...probably not so much.

I think you misunderstood. Thanks for playing.
HHHMMM Not sure what you mean by this? What was I playing:)

Let's not get mean or condescending here. While many are going to see this wedding as simply a convention of conservatism here in the US, others will see it as romantic. To each their own and all that. Just argue your point without putting others down.
If this referance was for me, Sorry, No harm meant.:)

Last night was good but seemed more of an Angel story than Flack! We now know Flack and Jess are an "Item" now! And it is good to see Flack doing "Brain exercises"!

^No, not meant for you, Lori; your post was fine.

In the grading thread, someone posted that the next new episode isn't until February 11th! Not a spoiler really, I suppose, but a heads up.

Since there are no new episodes for the next 2 weeks, when (if we know) will the eppy air where Adam is a hero. Next to Flack, he's my fave. Don't worry, Fay, I am admiring from a distance!

*narrows eyes* I'm watching you. :shifty:

:p I kid, I kid. There's plenty of Adam for everyone. :p

I'm not sure about when 5.17 (Adam's hero episode) will air - March 4 if there are no repeats from 5.14 to 5.17. But also remember that Adam will apparently be quite prominent in 5.15 (the one where the deputy mayor is killed at a gala), so that sounds good - and it'll air sooner. :p

It might even make up for him being MIA this week. :p At least he didn't miss spy cars or sharks this time. ;)

ETA: Here's the press release for 5.14 "She's Not There", from the Futon Critic - it's the episode dealing with human trafficking, which is a cause close to Julia Ormond's heart.

A RUSSIAN TOURIST IS FOUND STABBED TO DEATH AND THE CSIs COME FACE TO FACE WITH THE FRIGHTENING REALITIES OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING, ON "CSI: NY," WEDNESDAY, FEB. 11

Does anyone know if NY has anything big planned for Feb. sweeps?? So far I haven't heard anything, I thought they'd save Rush To Judgement, for feb sweeps, but they didn't so I was curious, are they doing nothing big???

I think they moved sweeps to March because of the digital transition - if that's the case, it seems like Adam will be a hero during sweeps. :p

What do we know about this Adam plotline thus far? I think I've missed some info, but I've been flipping through here trying to find more about it to no avail. *confused*

From the first post in this thread:

5.17 "Green Piece"

There is an explosion at a house in Brooklyn, and a woman dies.
Adam rescues a man trapped in the wreckage.

ETA: Waitwaitwait, I just realized something. Lenkov said Danny and Lindsay getting married would be an 'early Valentine's Day gift', which implies that it would have to happen in episode 5.14 (which airs February 11). The spoilers indicated that they would get married in 5.17.

Do you think this was suggested Before the schedule? Since we have the next two weeks off?

Maybe they just get officially engaged in 5x14.
They were casting for 5x17 when 14 was already shot.
I think they might be screwing with us

My guess is they end up moving in together, unless the writers decided to move up the wedding from 517.
