Hey, guys, I was wondering, with all those people leaving CSI & CSI: Miami lately, are there any news of someone leaving CSI: NY? I hope not, but I'm beginning to suffer for Hill Harper.

No, the contracts on those actors are up and they decided not to renew them.
I think CSI NY has until season 6 or 8 before their contracts are up.

I did read this earlier and thought I swear this was the same premise for DOA for a day. Tho its interesting to see that both of Mac's interests (Quinn and Jordan) are back i'm guessing Quinn with the link to the 1st victim being in NJ.

I was also wondering if the mention of Jordans ex husband is similar to the shooting of the FBI woman in S3 where its mentions then somehow comes into the finale and we are reminded of it.

You're welcome, Elsie. Despite the description being so 'meh', I'm also very interested in seeing this episode. They picked my interest with the Cabbie Killer storyline.

As for 'Cabbie Killer: Ryan Locke'... so much for wondering who's the killer... :lol:

Yeah, the premise does give one a sense of deja vu.

However, I'm boggling at the cast list. AJ and Anna were stuck back down in the recurring cast*, and we're looking at Angell (yay!), Reed (yay!), Jordan and Quinn back again?

Wow, that's gonna be some episode.


* At this point it makes more sense to have AJ there since he's still not in every episode and his name should only appear when he is there, but I can't imagine why they're back to sticking Anna down there again. Maybe whoever wrote it copy-pasted the cast list from an earlier, incorrect release? *scratches head*

Still, shouldn't he be bumped to the regular status? I mean..come on, he's Adam! And *sigh* they made the same mistake again? That's just insulting IMO...

But ooh, it sounds like a pretty heavy episode. Fun too! Reed, Jordan & Quinn are back - yay! I can't wait!

If it's a mistake, it's stupid to see it happening again at the end of the season after it was corrected however-many episodes ago. If it's not a mistake, they should make some sort of announcement about things.

As for AJ--him being listed as a regular is fine, but they've been listing him even when he wasn't in the episode. For my part, I'd rather see him down in the recurring list and only there when he's actually in the episode. They can stick him with the regs when he's going to be there every week. If they only included him up there when he was in the episodes, I wouldn't have a problem with listing him as a reg, but we know how well that works.

Now Robert, he should be up in the reg section!

I think he should stay as a recurring. I mean look at Khandi - she was underused and there's not much you can do with an ME. He might get fed up and leave...and NY without Sid just...isn't as much fun anymore

I've seen a bunch of errors on press releases since I started paying attention to them (the way they mess up actors' names can be amusing sometimes, but luckily that doesn't happen too often)--heck, the press release for 4.17 said something about a 'salesman' washing up on shore, didn't it?

Hodges on the original CSI is a series regular in the opening credits, and I think Greg was in the credits for a while before the character became a CSI.

I love the name Bob.

But I asked my mom why Bob is a nickname for Robert and she said, 'You know, I don't know. Why is Jack a nickname for John? Why is Hank a nickname for Henry?' And I was like 'Why is Dickie a nickname for Richard?' (My brother's name is Richard and they called him Dickie when he was a kid. My dad's name is also Richard, and his nickname among his family is, uh, a shorter version of Dickie.)
