CSI: NY Season 4 Spoilers! Discussion in the Big Apple

how the hell is the season gonna end well for us when LInds is like NOWHERE TO BE FOUND IN THE LAST EP? (sorry for the yelling)

To be fair, there hasn't really been that many spoilers for the finale. And those that are around focus mostly on Mac in the bank, and by the sounds of it that storyline may well be an interesting cliffhanger. Just because Lindsay is not mentioned in the spoilers doesn't mean she won't be there, this is just the way that spoilers go sometimes...

Unless.....unless....cause she's been kidnapped and we see her that way. She gets kidnapped.....Danny freaks out thinking he's gonna lose another person....he loves and he rescues her. Dunno....guess we have to wait and....*shifts ankle and yelp* see.

Sorry sprained my ankle and knee on Monday.

Why are people dying to see Lindsay made into some sort of victim? Please, no kidnapping stories.

I think Danny and Lindsay are going to just start over at some point. They were on different pages, but I could see them giving it another try.

I just don't see how they can resolve this so DL "fans will be quite pleased." Like I said before, if Danny is a lying, cheating bastard why would they want them together any longer? And after Lindsay told Mac "I should've never gotten involved with someone I work with. It was stupid. Really stupid," having her agree to continue/start over with him makes her look extremely pathetic. The DL fans who only like L because of D may be "pleased"; but I can't see the DL fans who really like both D & L buying it.

The hostage situation does sound interesting. I think the finale will be another good one.

I for one definitely don't wanna see Lindsay getting kidnapped and Danny doing the knight in shining armour routine.

If anything I would like Lindsay to be able to get herself out of a difficult situation should it arise, or even better Lindsay and Stella showing the guys how it should be done!!

And yep, I think Danny and Lindsay will probably quietly resume their relationship with little in the way of histrionics but a little clearer with each other about what they want.

That's the way I hope it happens too. Although I would never rule out something over-the-top since NY can be very over-the-top, especially at finale time.

Oh, and I for one probably like D more because of L. I have been frusterated with both of them at some point and this is no different. Actually, I think reading the many "defenses" of Danny on this board has helped this D&L fan see his point of view a bit and move on to just hoping for more.

I don't think the finale will disappoint it rarely does... after all they aim to please and explosions and what looks like a cliffhanger after what i read on TVguide it won't be a fun wait.

DL i just can't decide if i'm happy at the news or actually annoyed by it. I was kind of hoping it would go back to the friends with bantering and jokes which i liked but now i'm just hoping they allow it to work in the background like they kind have almost done this season (tho to be honest it was well hidden) because i thought if they weren't together maybe its a chance they final work out who Lindsay is.. tho at Lindsays reaction about she shouldn't have done it Danny must say some good things and i hope that Rikki's departure isnt ruined by it.

Its quite depressing the finales coming up but it definately sounds good.

I guess if D/L fans are not satisfied with this story so far you better write emails and letters to Mr Zuiker saying

"We want a CSI spin off with those two" "It will be a massive hit on tv"

Oooh, there is? Do tell, since I only thought there was life before and during D/L [/more sarcasm]

Of course it's not all about D/L , but right now with what the writers have done to the characters of both Lindsay and Danny, I think it would be wise to, at least for once, follow this story through and either end it :wtf: or let them start again with some dignity. It would be nice to see them make and speak up their minds; Danny about who he wants or doesn't want to be with and Lindsay about whether she is willing to take a risk and set aside her feelings about getting involved with a co-worker or not.

A bank robber caught in a hostage situation...sounds intriguing

I know the title of this thread is 'season 4 spoilers', but I hope it's OK to post season 5 spoilers in here too for discussion...

Here are some details for the first episode of season 5!

#501 - Veritas

Yes, it's a continuation from the season 4 finale. So the bank robbery/hostage situation is being continued.

Also, as Orison said, the team are investigating the death of a woman named Lauren Santana, in a case that seems to be linked to the bank robbery. She was a friend of Don Flack's sister Melanie, and had borrowed Melanie's car before she died. For those Flack fans who want to know... it would appear that Mommy Flack is indeed alive (not that we get to meet her, but Mom and Dad Flack are both mentioned).

Yeah, agreeing with Orison, I'm very interested to see the dynamic between Flack and his little sister. I think she might be the black sheep of the family so to speak...

Other things in 501 that people might be interested in... It looks like Danny/Flack will be sharing at least one scene, and according to the spoilers the lovely Adam is in this episode.

I think Peter Lenkov said (in his interview) that it would be starting slightly earlier than usual, but I'm not sure when.
