Lately, Lindsay was listed as a regular after Sid, and IMO I think it's a sign towards her involvement.
Eh? :wtf: Not on any press releases that I've seen.

As for Lindsay not being mentioned in the spoilers for the finale--it's not exactly the same, but I don't recall Adam's name being in any of the spoilers for 4.15 or 4.16, both of which he appeared in. Sometimes they just don't appear in the spoilers. *shrug* We'll see.

If they honestly have Danny and Lindsay off on some zomg-romantical-excursion while Mac is in a hostage situation, I'll have to revoke my assessment that the writers have been giving us really interesting stuff so far post-strike, particularly given that Lindsay said last night that getting "involved" with a co-worker is stupid, so having her jump back on the bandwagon so soon after saying that would make her look wishy-washy.

^I don't think DL is going to go on some romantic excursion  Considering what happened after 417, I'm really anxious where the writers are taking this (with the shortened season and what not). Hopefully it will actually make sense by the end

Jeez, I think I must stop reading this thread. I got sick to my stomach seeing people calling Rikki a sociopath and wishing her death.

Is she a sociopath because she thought about getting revenge for her murdered son? Let's remember she didn't carry this through, presented herself to the police and was released on her own recognizance.

Does she deserve the death penalty because she slept with her hot neighbor some weeks after her son was killed, looking for comfort? For how long should a grieving person stay abstinent from sex? Is there a minimum time, otherwise you should be hanged? Is that so wrong that she's trying to comfort Danny and herself? A man she doesn't hold responsible for her child's death, even when he thinks he is?

Also, why after losing her son, she should move away? Isn't that enough pain to go through, she also must have the added stress of finding a new home?

I'm seriously nauseated.

ETA: I'm really glad they didn't go the cheating route with Mac. I always believed Mac loved Claire 'til death do us part'. That scene in 'Blink', when he says he couldn't throw that beach ball because her breath was still in there made my heart ache.

I'm quite interested in the cabbie killer storyline. Seems quite intriguing. Can't help but associate it with 'Blink', though...

^Which episode was Blink? *blinks* Blasted bad memory!! And yeah, the Rikki AND Lindsay insults needs to stop.

It was nice to see a little blip of Mac's past in last night's episode, and I'm glad they didn't go the cheating route either. But Mac leading someone on? Wow...I never would have figured

The only happy spoiler I can comment on is 420 because Hawkes calls Lindsay "Montana". Don't care so much about what that may mean when it airs, but HAWKES GETS SCREENTIME!!! :D :D :D

Now...to get Adam and Sid, and Linds more screen time too....

"Blink" was the first episode, where the cab driver gave the women cigarettes laced with cough syrup or something to knock them out so he could 'lock them into' their own bodies.

Hawkes got a good chunk of screentime last night, and luckily he wasn't the monkey in the middle of any DL drama. Too bad that can't continue.

I think we all need to remember that we're talking about fictional characters. I could be wrong, but I don't think it's possible to insult someone who doesn't exist.

Back to spoilers. I agree that although seeing Hawkes is always a treat, it's a shame that the only spoiler we get about him is related to the DL drama. :(

Apparently after she was the catalyst for revealing that the Danny and Lindsay pairing is simply unrequited love on Lindsay's part for Danny, she does. I got the feeling Rikki had no idea that Danny was seeing anyone from work, probably because he wasn't seriously dating Lindsay.

Anyway, count me as another one who will be sad if Reed ends up dead. I'm really hoping that won't be the conclusion to the taxicab killer case, but I do worry because it really would be a shocking ending. And because Reed isn't a regular, he's not protected in the way say, Mac is. We know 421 isn't going to end with Mac dead after all.

No, 4.21 is totally going to end with Super Hawkes and the X Factor flying into the bank to save the day. :p

(Whaaat? The spoilers in the other thread said Hawkes and Adam were in the lab. They could put on their super suits and come to the rescue. :p)

SERIES REGULARS:
Det. Mac Taylor............................. Gary Sinise
Det. Stella Bonasera......... Melina Kanakaredes
Danny Messer................... Carmine Giovinazzo
Dr. Sheldon Hawkes....................... Hill Harper
Det. Don Flack............................. Eddie Cahill
Lindsay Monroe......................... Anna Belknap
Adam Ross.................................... AJ Buckley

Sorry, my bad..after Flack. I apologize for my misunderstanding :D

Hawkes was in the lab in the last finale too, and he rocked the boat! :D And now he's with Adam in the lab. I think it's going to be great. As for the rest, my confusion is beyond any words so I'll stop here

Oh, ok. Maybe it has to do with her being in fewer episodes...

It still bugs me for them to put AJ's name on the press release even when he's not in an episode. Dudes, don't get my hopes up. :p

 Very true. I really hope Reed will live, even if we don't get to see him again. I'm still surprised, but happy, that they brought him back for a few episodes this season. And yes, a Mac cliffhanger will be a difficult sell.

Awesome.

Ain't it, though?

Or maybe the season ends with MAC DISAPPEARING INTO SECOND LIFE!!!

And fans around the world curse and throw slippers at their televisions. :p

Then season 5 would open with Adam, in his usual SL guise of a hot chick with big boobs and cat ears (and tail), zipping through the online world to find Mac and save him.

And fans around the world are like, 'I knew his avatar would be a chick!...Wait, what's with the cat ears?' :wtf:

*runs away* :D

Cool

Can we make him a new avatar? :D Seeing as his has a hole in his forehead

Stop it! Stop it! :guffaw: :guffaw:

Oooh! Hawkes needs an Avatar!! :D

Yeah, it's always a crapshoot when it's a recurring character. But I'm optimistic they're going to keep him around as a way for Mac to stay connected to Claire and for Reed to play Jimmy Olsen to Super Mac.

I think I'll hit Toys R Us to stock up on some Nerf balls just in case, though.

Hey, guys, I was wondering, with all those people leaving CSI & CSI: Miami lately, are there any news of someone leaving CSI: NY? I hope not, but I'm beginning to suffer for Hill Harper.
