Thanks alot, i didn't think straight, this story has seriously gotten to me, i love the thought of Danny being a dad, i just hope Lizzie is okay, i'd hate for Lindsay to lose her best friend.

**Chap48**-Help...
‘Danny?’ Rachel looked up to see who her husband had called and saw the man she had met only a few days ago when she had picked up her daughter from her first day of school.
‘Messer do you know these people or something?’ Flack asked. Getting a little frustrated by the fact they were standing there when they needed to be trying to find Elizabeth Philips.
Danny turned around, ‘Erm yeh their daughter is one of Lindsay’s friends at school.’ Flack nodded, ‘Mr and Mrs Philips, would you excuse me I need to go and process your apartment.’
Without another word Danny turned around and headed into the apartment quickly followed by Flack, ‘Wait up Danno, aren’t you gonna talk to them?’
Danny stopped and shook his head, ‘I’ve only ever spoke to them a few times Flack, I only know the because of our daughter being best friends- I’ve never really spoke to them. Plus, if I get friendly with them now then Mac’ll pull me off this case Don. But we can’t find this girl dead ok?’
‘But you will tell Mac you know them right? Because you know what happened last time you kept your mouth shut!’ Danny nodded and headed off to help process.
Two hours later Mac, Stella and Danny closed their kits and stood up.
‘Right lets get back to the lab and get this processed, I want to find this girl alive!’
Stella left the room first and as Mac was about to follow Danny called him, ‘Mac erm wait, you know this girl?’ Mac nodded, ‘Please don’t throw me off the case…’
‘Well tell me because I cant even keep you on it if you don’t tell me,’ Mac said smiling.
‘She’s one of Lindsay’s best friends at her new school but I hardly know the girl or the parents I’ve only spoke to each of them a few times, please Mac I wanna catch this guy!’ Danny said rambling.
‘Danny don’t worry. I’m not going to throw you off the case ok?’ Danny nodded, ‘But if its gets a little too close to home and you start to make stupid mistakes I’ll have no choice. Now come on I need you working on this so let’s get back to the lab.’
They walked out of the apartment and put tape on the door, there was no one left in the hallway. But could see Stella and Flack talking while they waited for the elevator.
As the four of them reached the ground floor Matt and Rachel Philips were still there talking to officers. When they walked past, Rachel grabbed Danny’s arm forcing him to stop,
‘We’ll meet you back at the lab,’ Mac said as he ushered Stella to their SUV.
‘Danny, you will find my daughter wont you?’ Danny looked at her and nearly cried as he knew they’d probably find her but there was a huge chance she wouldn’t be alive.
‘Yes, we’ll find her,’ Danny said as he hugged her tightly.

**Chap49**- Pizza for Problems
It was late afternoon and Lindsay was sitting in the break room waiting for Danny to finish something in the lab so he could go and get them something for dinner. Lindsay wasn’t sure what had happened today but since she had been picked up she had noticed everyone rushing around.
‘What’s goin on, Teddy?!’ Lindsay asked as she sat on the sofa.
‘Why’s Daddy really busy?’ Lindsay nodded as given an answer.
‘Yeh I know he’s working but I want pizza, I’m hungry! And I bet day is! He’s always hungry,’ Lindsay looked around the break room and back at her teddy, ‘You want to watch TV?’ Lindsay made her Teddy nod and then reached for the controls.
She turned it on and the news headlines were on.
‘It has been reported that a second young Girl has been kidnapped from Manhattan in the early hours of today,’ just as Lindsay was about to change the channel the girls picture was shown on the screen, ‘the police have issued a statement and photograph of the young girl on the wishes of the parents in the hope that they will be able to find the girl, however her name has not been revealed. The NYPD have also issued details of…’
Lindsay looked at the TV with a face of confusion, got off the sofa and left the break room.
Danny was in Mac’s office along with Stella and Flack. They were discussing the particulars of the case and the so called sightings of Lizzie however many seemed too far fetched to be true. Lindsay could here there voices as she got closer to the door.
‘…I know that most of those sighting are useless but at least we’ve got an idea of where Jackson is.’
Flack nodded, ‘Yep, we’ve had a hand full of calls saying that they’ve seen the man or car that was described on the news around those warehouses on the Westside of the city.’
‘Flack, I want you and Stella to find the owners of thos…’ Mac stopped as he noticed Lindsay at the door and everyone turned around.
‘Montana sweetie I thought I told you to stay colouring until I brought pizza,’ Danny said going to pick her up.
Lindsay nodded, ‘Daddy, why’s Lizzie on the news?’ Danny looked at Mac and he nodded.
Danny walked out of the office and headed towards the elevator, ‘Lets go get some pizza sweetie,’ Danny said kissing her head.
They reached the SUV and Danny strapped Lindsay in and started to drive, ‘Montana, you know those nasty men I told you about?’ he looked in the rear view mirror and saw her nod. ‘and remember I said they do bad things?’ Lindsay nodded again, ‘Well one of these bad guys…’
Lindsay just looked at her Teddy, ‘they k-kid-kidnabbed Lizzie, didn’t they Daddy? That news woman told me,’ Lindsay said quietly, ‘But I don’t know what that mean?’
Danny pulled up at the takeout and turned off the engine, ‘It means that one of those nasty men has taken her away from her mummy and daddy.’
‘But you wouldn’t let any nasty man steal me would you daddy?’ Lindsay asked sadly.
‘No baby, now how about we go and get our pizza.’
Lindsay nodded, ‘Can I have a hug first daddy?’
‘Only on one condition!’ Danny said as he pulled her out of the car and hugged her close to him as Lindsay looked at him as he whispered, ‘I get a big kiss off my favourite girl.’
Lindsay giggled and gave Danny a big kiss, ‘Pizza now Daddy!’
