That brown/white is so my fave :D

Well..the dairy cattle ends up as steaks as well :p

Our one moo had horrible cut in her knee today. I went to feed 'em and it was like a crime scene! Blood everywhere. We finally found which cow and we actually had to call vet and ask what to do because bleeding doesn't stop.
First aid formoo is bit complicated. So finally we managed to tape it so well (with sportstape!Lol!) so it didn't bleed... but some bandage under it. Tomorrow I'll probably tape a diaper on it. Seriously... it fits perfectly to her knee  Pampers diaper

Yay! A cow thread! (Where has this been all my life??) Unfortunately, I do not live on a farm; therefore, no moo pictures to contribute. :( Moos are so cute. :D However, I will go change my siggy to support the cows. There. Purple cows rule. ;) Oh, yeah.

Holy crap. Milka. I miss you... Okay, so I used to live in Vienna (Hi inge! *bounces uncontrollably* You're the first person in Austria I've seen on these boards!) Anyway, long story short... I'm now back in the home country of the US of A, where *GASP* they don't have Milka. So I haven't had ANY Milka in almost four months (I almost wrote mooo-nths. Ha! Can you tell I'm obsessed with cows?)
And you're right... cows are practically purple in Vienna. I actually saw a purple cow near Stephansdom or Mariahilferstrasse (Sorry to all the people who haven't been in Vienna. Big cathedral and big shopping street, downtown. They story just sounds better when I say them by name.;)) one summer that I think was supposed to be Milka, and I laughed so hard. If I can find a picture I'll try to post it...
DaWacko:Glad to hear bleeding moo is better and mama moo looks better. I'm curious... did you use a diaper?
I've been trying my very hardest to think of funny cow movie lines, but they just aren't coming to me. Can you guys think of any? Lame cow jokes would be cool too...

We've not used diaper, but now that it has stopped bleeding... I think I put it next.

I have lots of cow involved jokes. Longer ones take time to translate. But this

What's the different between a blonde and a cow?
    -Cow's intelligent look

    :p lame say I

^ Thanks for the links! The second one isn't working. :(
you're right, there aren't many Austrians here.
wow, you lived in Austria? cool. I work in Vienna, but I don't live in Vienna.
I think it wouldn't be possible to have cows in the city.
aw, poor one, I would die without Milka chocolate. ;)

I thought the joke was funny DaWacko! :D

no news about the highland cows.
They are eating and sleeping and they look forward to Winter.
they like winter and snow more than summer and high temperatures or even mild weather.
they look even cuter with the winter furry.

Sorry about the bad link. I'll try again... maybe this will work.
I'm counting down the days 'till I can get my precious Milka again :( I don't know about cows in Vienna... there are lots of farms within the city limits (where I used to live, at least). Now cows in Chicago, I cannot see. They probably don't know what cows look like in the city.

New Year is one hour away here and the people fire off some fireworks. they started at 5 p.m.
    our poor cows.
I hope they are not too afraid. :(
I can't remeber last year, but I think they didn't freak out.
maybe I will look after them.

Aww, sorry to hear that inge :( Yeah, I hope those fireworks don't frighten your moos too much. I remember how much fireworks used to upset our dog (he died last year) - whenever they were let off, he'd curl up and start shaking and whimpering :(
