(just pop to the crime scene hunni, there's a nice fresh body for you ;))

Delko glanced at Ryan suspiciously, he was surprised to find out that the look in his eyes told him that he was being sincere. He was right, they didn't even have to like each other, but they should be able to put their differences aside so they could at least do their jobs properly. "Fine," he replied reluctantly, "I'm not saying I like you, or that I've forgiven you, but we have to work together whether we like it or not. There's no reason to make this more painful than it needs to be." Although he didn't like Ryan, he had never meant to lash out quite the way he did. Not only had he put his job in jeopardy, but he had but Alexx in danger and made Calleigh upset as well. He knew that was just not acceptable, but it didn't stop him having a had time accepting it with everything going on, he just wanted to lash out at the world. He turned back to Ryan, "We cool?"

Ryan was shocked that he had given in so easily. He truly thought he was going to just totally ignore his plead. So he was happy to hear him agree about being civil to each other, for the sake of their jobs. But he didn't understand what he had even done to him to need to be forgiven, not to mention he wasn't forgiving him for it. He needed to know what was up his ass.

He nodded with a small smile," yeah we're cool." Then silence fell again but only for a few moments." um you didn't answer my question though. What did I do to piss you off? You know I need to know so I don't do it again." After a quick glance over at him to see his expression he focuses his eyes on the road in front of them waiting for an answer.

Eric immediatly went on the defensive. Truth was, he wasn't sure what exactly he was so upset with Ryan about. It was a combination of a lot of things, really, some that he couldn't even say were his fault, but he had taken them out on him nonetheless. It wasn't Ryan's fault that people weren't being there for him with the death of his sister. He never expected him to be, they weren't even close, but he resented the fact that everybody had deserted him in his time of need. He guessed that on the most part, Wolfe had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. He had a bit of a habit of doing that. "Let's not get into it now, okay?" he replied firmly as they pulled into the crime scene. He promised he wouldn't try and rip the younger man limb from limb, but he certainly wasn't at the point where he would forgive him. Not to mention, he had seen the way he looked at Calleigh, and the things he had said about her in one of their previous arguments. He didn't like it. Not one little bit.

[ha ha Twiz more big words!!!! ::gets crazy look in eye:: :D]

Alexx saw Ryan and Eric pull up and groaned. "What was Horatio thinking?" but Alexx trusted H with her life and multiple times he proved that trust by saving her. "What have you got for us Alexx?" "15 year old female. Shot in the head. No ID yet but she was found on school property. Maybe we can find someone to ID her." "How long has she been here?" Ryan asked clearly it was painful to speak. "Well, algor mortis says she died about 10 hours ago but with the heat that might not be accurate. Lividity is already set in but that's no surprise. I'd say she's been here for about 18 hours." "it's every sign of a suicide why'd they call us?" Eric wondered aloud. "Actually" Alexx cut in, "I called you. What's the one thing i didn't mention?" silence. "Rigor mortis, the body's waste products cause the muscles to stiffen. Rigor indicated that she had been here for about 18 hours." Alexx laughed as she saw both CSIs realize that they probably should've known that. "But that still doesn't explain why you called us." Ryan said. "Hold on i'm getting to that! Not all muscle rigidity is from rigor. Just before a person dies they experience something called cadaveric spasm which is the immediate stiffening of the arms and hands." Alexx indicated towards the girls hand. "The hand holding the gun is loose and limp. Even thought her finger is on the trigger she never pulled it." "So Wolfe, i guess we got some work to do." Eric sighed. 'great' Ryan thought 'A whole case with HIM!' but all he said was "so lemme guess Alexx. You'll know more after post?" Alexx replied with the usual, "I always do!"

[There, there's your anatomy lesson for the day! Ok... it's y'alls turn! Alexx hasn't left yet so you can still duke it out ;)... and i'll be there... kind of... i'll be at my mom's till about 3 or 4 tomorrow so i won't be able to get on :(]

Just popping to say that I am so, so, so terribly sorry! I've been grounded from the computer last week...but now I'm back, problem is: there are three pages to read! I'll try, or if you have a substitute for Calleigh, that is fine. I just want to apologize for being absent for a week...hope I didn't screw everything up.

w00t! You're back! I was filling in for Calleigh, we waited for you as long as we could, but it became really hard without one of our most important characters . She's all yours again now, if you need any more info on where we were going with the story, just PM me and i'll help fill you in ;)

Ryan was listening to everything Alexx was saying but then a thought popped into his head," um Delko didn't H say our vic was a male and the scene was a drug hotspot? Are we lost or what?" He looks back and forth at Delko and Alexx for an answer.

Delko shared a look of confusion with Ryan, before looking down at the info sheet Horatio had given him. "That's what the sheet says. Maybe we should give Tripp a-". Just asthe words left his mouth, his phone began to vibrate in his pocket. He fished it out and looked at the screen. Since when had Tripp ever had great timing? He put it his ear.

"Delko, where the hell are you?" Frank asked frustratedly, "I've been waiting for one of your little Hummey tin cans to show up for hours."

Eric laughed slightly, trust Tripp to make him smile. "It's a hummer, Frank."

"Do I sound like I care."

"Alright, Frank. Calm down. We're at a scene. Where are you?"

"I'm at the scene your supposed to be. Male DB found outside suspected crack den, 9th & Coral Gables."

Delko looked down at the sheet, then at the street sign across the road. "9th? We're on 7th. Don't worry I'll be there in a minute. He looked down at Ryan, who was examining the body. "We got a problem." He proceeded to explain the situation to the younger man.

Ryan stands up," ok, so we're at the wrong scene, so what do we do?" He looks down at the body of the young girl, feeling a pain in his heart. He's always had a hard time dealing with murders of young innocent girls, ever since his first real case when he became a csi. Before Delko could say another word he bounces his head back up at him," let me take the drug case ok?" He looks back down at the girls body with sadness all over his face," I think you could do better with this case then me, besides I think you have dealt with enough Drug dealers in the past, let me take that one."

Eric looked slightley taken aback by that comment. Was it supposed to be a dig at him for the whole pot smoking ordeal? He began to open his mouth, but stopped to think about what he was going to say. He would give him the benefit of the doubt. After all they had buried the hatchet, for now.

"Sure, I'll let Horatio know the score." With that, he picked up his kit and headed back over to find Alexx.

Ryan could see the look on his face, a look like he had just put his foot in his mouth. He thought about his words realizing he took it all the wrong way. He didn't want to end his day with him thinking that he was making a wise ass crack about his pot troubles. He runs up to Delko tapping his back," hey I didn't mean nothing bad against you by that drug comment. I just meant that you know you got accused and your were innocent. I'm sorry I didn't mean nothing by it, so we're still cool right?"

"I told you, we're fine. For now." He said turning of his heels and beginning to head back to the Hummer. "Let's just focus on the cases for now." Eric checked his watch. Calleigh should have been finished processing her scene now, maybe he would give her a call and ask her to help him out.

Okay, that's it, this is going too fast. I've got 3 pages of catching up to do, no time to do so, and worst: I have no idea what the hell is going on here, hehe.
