Eric immediatly went on the defensive. Truth was, he wasn't sure what exactly he was so upset with Ryan about. It was a combination of a lot of things, really, some that he couldn't even say were his fault, but he had taken them out on him nonetheless. It wasn't Ryan's fault that people weren't being there for him with the death of his sister. He never expected him to be, they weren't even close, but he resented the fact that everybody had deserted him in his time of need. He guessed that on the most part, Wolfe had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. He had a bit of a habit of doing that. "Let's not get into it now, okay?" he replied firmly as they pulled into the crime scene. He promised he wouldn't try and rip the younger man limb from limb, but he certainly wasn't at the point where he would forgive him. Not to mention, he had seen the way he looked at Calleigh, and the things he had said about her in one of their previous arguments. He didn't like it. Not one little bit.
