Carmine Giovinazzo

You can definitely tell that Danny's energy comes straight from Carmine. It's cool to see someone so enthusiastic about their role.

I totally agree. He is just sooo passionate! Makes ya wonder if someone called out 'Hey Danny' to him off the set if he wouldnt answer. Probably would!

I'm sure he has to leave Danny behind on the set somewhat at the end of the day. But that is a good question--I wonder if TV actors who play the same character year after year do turn their heads when someone calls out the name of that character.

Excellent...I agree with you guys...
I do wonder about that,an actor responding to his screen name intead of his real name...Haha...
My opinion is that Danny is 85% Carmine...

ilovegrisom1....
Hmmm...Come on...Why is it that you ladies alwas ecape with your height??
Haha...Nevermind...Your height allows you to have your fantasies about Carmine and it would extremely rude of me to prevent you from having them...
Enjoy Madame....

Carmine 85% Danny...very interesting! I wonder how Carmine himself would break it down, how much of Danny he sees in himself. Carmine does seem less edgy than Danny--Danny reacts to and complains about everything, which is something I really love about the character. Carmine does seem more laid back, though. Hopefully, because Danny is bound to blow a gasket one of these days...

just watched "trapped" last tuesday... i gotta tell you, carmine looked great!
anyway, with regards to that stuff about Carmine being 85% Danny... sometimes an actor, especially after much internalization, could possibly absorb much of his/her character's essence. Although temporary, but I believe their two natures could somehow overlap. :) WIth how believable Carmine portrayed the character of Danny, you could see how deep he went into assimilating the character into himself. :) That's a mark of an amazing actor, for me that is. :)

^Good point! I wonder if Carmine is most like Danny during the season/right after it ends, and then mellows during the summer. I gotta say, taking Danny's intensity home has got to be kind of tough at times. Danny gets so worked up and edgy--that kind of energy must be hard to deal with sometimes.

Rats!!!
I missed this week's eppy!!
Trapped!!

Interesting thought about Carmine being more Danny right after the season and then becoming less of Danny...
No offences but personally speaking,as long as he's Danny,i'm satisfied!!Haha...
But u did raise an excellent point..It certainly won't be easy being Danny at home...All that frustration...All that tension..Danny is no happy-go-lucky character for him to have an easy way of life......

Oh no! I hope they rerun "Trapped" in your area! That's pretty much a Valentine to Danny fans. Angsty Danny stuck in a panic room, hot and sweaty and wearing only an undershirt...yeah, that one was geared right towards the Danny fans.

Danny isn't happy-go-lucky, no. And I never really want to see him that way. That's just not who he is. I love angsty Danny, with all of his various issues and complaints. It makes him more fun to watch, more real, more human.

^heh. As for my height, I'm 5'1, so it could be beliveable, then again, I would have to be an overdeveloped 10 year old, if ya get what I mean lol Well, actually, Danny is like, 35 or something right? So it's possible that if he was stupid in highschool or something like that, he could have a 15-16 year old daughter, which is right up my alley

That would be intresting to see if Carmine would answer to "Danny". I honestly wish I could try it one day lol. Hey, maybe when I'm on my way to Wyoming for the week, I'll see him at JFK, wouldn't that be a dream come true!?!?

I doubt Danny is in his mid-thirties. Definitely at least early thirties, but probably not mid. Of course, Danny acts like he's in his teens much of the time...

I watched every "Trapped" rerun here in the Philippines. So in one week, I watched it four times. It's deffo one of my favorites and it clearly showcased how great an actor Carmine is.

Danny's a multi-faceted character. He can be serious one moment and childlike the next. I mean, who would refer to a panic room (after being given the info that you'll be stuck in there for a long while) as a space ship? He's the only one with the attitude who can pull that off and make it work. Danny was able to keep his cool under pressure and Carmine delivered. One of the best performances of a CSI actor since it started.

Carmine IS in his early 30s (doesn't look it) -- I think Danny's in his late 20s. They always ballpark character ages a bit younger than that of the actors'.

Ah well, I can fake a good thirteen year old at least lol who knows, people my age are doing that sort of stuff........and I'm 16!
