Carmine Giovinazzo

I figured Eddie did theater in high school!
I know a lot of guys who did theater in HS. Usually, these are those tall, lanky, quiet, smart and talented guys. They are usually the most unlikely heartthrobs. But with Eddie -- hell, I'll be damned if he's not a heartthrob in high school hahahahah.

Carmine really wanted to be an athlete. And that hernia, that's a complete b!tch. I had one about two years ago and that's goodbye for my competitive volleyball. *sobsob* But hey, at least he has proven that he has talent not only in sports but also in the arts .... and music and stage.... lol...

^Yeah, I wish it too.
*Maybe I should write to Oprah about it teehee!*

Anyway, with or without formal theater schooling -- they're great actors. It's like the characters were tailor-made for them.

Looks like I'm the odd-ball... I did my theater bit in the University...
I agree how the characters seemed tailor-fit to the actors. It's like they were written with the actors in mind...

^I agree. It's sort of a gift from above for the producers to pick the actors out, considering how many other actors who auditioned for it.

Yeah, the producers did a fantastic job of casting this show in the first season. I really thought each and every actor was perfect for his or her role, and the show had a nice, gritty NY feel to it.

Not to mention they managed to cast 2 actors with GENUINE New York accents.

They actually had three the first season--Vanessa's was pretty heavy in some scenes. Carmine's is definitely the heaviest, and I think Eddie's can be pretty heavy at times too, especially when Flack is playing the tough guy.

At least there is this feeling of reality in it. Set in New York with actors actually born and raised in NY with real accents.
