I like the middle one w/ the pink background....very cute!! Their faces in the heart is perfect..:lol:..I love it!
Im so glad you bumped the thread, I miss it here & I miss CAKE...BADLY!!!
Especially w/ Calleigh having it so rough now. I can only hope that Jake has been helping her cope at home in thier "personal time".

As we all are aware this will be Alexx's last epi & Calleigh will probably be devistated along with the rest of fans. I can't imagine her having to say goodbye to the woman who has been such a good friend to her for so long.
So here is what I am hoping for.
Now Im not for sure, but it appears that Alexx will go against the department to fight for her son. Im hoping this is a situation where she will put her life & someone she loves over her job ...sound familiar???
Alexx knows all about her & Jake....WE KNOW THIS ...she mentioned it in Sunblock & didn't she make a comment to Calleigh about the department policy & all that??
So...hopefully during this goodbye between Alexx & Calleigh, Alexx will give her some friendly advice in telling her that love is most important in life & encourage Calleigh to be happy with Jake, despite the department rule.

Plus Alexx knows Calleigh so well!! Surely she can see that Cal is head over heels for Jake, & I think Alexx would trust Calleigh's judgement. There is good reason why Calleigh has given this man a second go-around..surely Alexx can see that.
This is perfect opportunity to give Cal/Alexx a defining moment & also bring us closer to CAKE.

Obviously Alexx trusts every single choice of Calleigh. She knows Calleigh way too much.
If Calleigh had made a wrong choice she would have told her immediately…she’s her best friend.
Plus if Calleigh chose to give Jake a second opportunity there must be a reason and I’m sure Alexx knows it
I so can’t wait for their little chat cause they need to show it…I’ll miss their lovely chatting.
As for bringing back CaKe I think that Calleigh’s scary website (surely they’ve something on their mind for them going on) was a good step, but still it’s insane what they’re going to do or not to do with our CaKe .
I mean too may episodes have passed without them. Ok if they were normal episodes it would be good, but they were everything except normal. I mean in two episodes we have Calleigh’s scary website and her kidnapping….and no sign of Jake. I know Johnny wasn’t available but still I found it insane to make these kinds of episodes while he was unavailable. They could easily have done them next season without problems or they could have done it for the finale.
Now it’s definitely time to show us something of them….I’m all for another little cute face (well “little” :lol of Jake on another Calleigh’s scary website. It was too cute :guffaw::guffaw:

Well Im at 99.8% sure of it:lol:.
The 2% doubt is only because of the damn writers strike & hopefully that didn't put a damper on the original idea of where to take our CAKE.
From the looks of what little they have shown w/ them...which is actually ALOT, just in small scenes, small but enough said to show how they felt for each other & it looks like love to me!!!
I sure as hell didn't see any confusion in her eyes when she was with him.
As for the "SYG" epi....I just don't think that was enough for her to say it's over...not after she was so giddy in Sunblock w/ him. No way.
For the rest of this season, I hope we at least get another mention of him, confirming that they are still together (I don't know why I just REALLY think IT WILL) & then next season he'll show up again...this time...JUST THEM.

It was too evident that their relationship is love and not only some hot stuff:devil:.

If TPTB are going to ruin this & break them up they should at least HAVE HIM THERE!
personally, Id like to see Calleigh back to being just a CSI & not with all the love drama. If she stays with Jake, that's great, but it really needs to be on the backburner & thrown in every once in a while. This front & center "what is there" bulls--t is getting really old. It's taking away her true character & her role on this show.
They need to play off CAKE in a way where we know she is still with him & happy...and when a good epi comes along for a Cal centric story then push CAKE's love story.

Yep all this love drama is just ruining all the characters and the show. I mean Calleigh was a good CSI and a strong woman. Now with this triangle I was really surprised to see her so strong with her kidnappers in "All In" cause right now Calleigh looks like a normal girl who needs a man to help her in every kind of situation. She was indipendent before this complication in her relationship with Jake.
When she's with Jake she's still strong and cheerful (the real Calleigh Duquesne of MDPD).....I can't see these two things with any another person.
Obviously Jake can't be in every single episode but when there's some stuff going on with Calleigh well Jake should be there ready to help her even if she doens't need it.

I went off CSI Miami awhile ago, but I think I might watch again, or at least watch for some Jake/Calleigh action, or Cake as you guys call them. They look kinda cute together though, so yeah I think I might watch S5. Is he in S5 a lot.

Jake appears in the second epi of Season 5 'Going Under' ...a very nice CAKE epi.
The first half of that season he appears here & there, but then ya don't see him again 'til near the finale.
The first half is great though, it's definitly worth watching!!

Jake's first appearence was AWESOME...I still can't forget "Going Under". It was one of the best shipping episode ever:devil:.
Yeap s5 was such a CaKe season especially "Going Under", "Going Going Gone" and "Born to Kill" ( the kiss:devil
There were also some good scenes during s6 espceially the "Officef pretty" one or the coffee machine (one of the funniest ever) or the hand to hand scene (I found it the sweetest one ever....I still can't get over the cuteness of it).
Then there were some troubles for them but they're still together although Jake looks missing. Hope he wasn't abducted ( I hate this word)

Wow a vacation....yeah another long vacation for Calleigh...ok she deserves it after her abduction **starts hitting her head against the table** sorry I just saw a pic of Calleigh gagged with that beautiful tie.
Anway they both need a long vacation and yes the idea of a cold place is very good...maybe in Finland with Santa Claus. Ok it's not Christamas time but still this is their perfect location so they will have to snuggle all day in bed to keep warm:drool::devil:
