Hey Bones fans. I'm here to usher in... well... Geekiness. First up, SPOILERS:

Welcome to Episode 2x12 Spoilers!

"The Man in the Cell"

Welcome to the return of Howard Epps. Well, maybe I shouldn't say "return" since the man has actually left prison. That's right, he found a way out.

First of all, Epps was transferred from his nice, solitary confinement lifestyle out to another prison, one closer to the courthouse since his court date was near. Not a good idea for this man.

Bones and Booth start off the episode in a manner that reminds me very much of "Committed." Booth tells Bones to stay close because of the murderous men around them who haven't seen a real woman in ages. They get to Howard Epp's cell, where, apparently, Howard was set on fire by someone in a nearby cell. Bones looks at the body, and realizes that the wrist she broke in Season 1 isn't right. This wrist was freshly broken, showing no signs of previous breakage. Oops.

Also, the body of a fireman is found. Apparently, Epps sneaked out in the firesuit. The man is on the run.

After this, he kills his wife (aw), and Booth and Brennan meet his mother, who is a STRANGE character. She weighs over 300 pounds, and is definitely off-balance.

What else happens?

Well, Bones is under 24 hour surveillance for her own protection. Booth's son momentarily goes missing while in the care of his nanny... Epps bought him an ice cream cone Cam ends up in the hospital due to Epps somehow exposing her to a toxin.

Hodgins is confirmed dead by a police report (incorrectly), because Hodgins, Booth and Bones had been in Epps' house. They found the bomb the man had set, disarmed it, got the body of his wife out, then rearmed the bomb. Smooth, eh?

And, the last page I have? Brennan dismisses the two agents following her around as she enters her apartment building. She walks upstairs... and I have no further information.

Secondly: Yes, Bones returns November 1. Here are some cute promos from YouTube (from Boreanez.net) for you to enjoy!

Thirdly: You see me not citing a source page anymore. I now have someone sending me sides directly. It was an accident, really, but it's funny. :) So, there ya go!

I think they go to Vegas the first ep back...yay. *really wants to see Warrick helping Booth with the gambling problem, Hodgins and Grissom talking bugs and Brennan and Sara talking foster care stuff*...rofl

Someone did post a fic with CSI crossovers at the Fox board...would probably have to ask if they'd let it be linked in the fic thread. If anyone wants to go look the title is Viva Las Vegas...the board is at http://www.fox.com/bones (click on 'boards' and then look under 'fanfiction')

If it took place at the Montecito, they could run into Ed Deline and his crew. A three-way crossover would be unique.

The first one back is 2x07 "The Girl with the Curl" which involves a little girl who was a beauty queen.

2x08 is the episode where they go undercover in Vegas. :) Can't wait!

Bones is like CSI, only with a fun side. Oh, and limited to bones. Heehee.

I'm getting re-runs from my network provider. *cries* At least you guys get to watch the latest bickerings.

Funny when Booth mentioned a Scully/Mulder reference. I kinda see my "first ship" in them!

So, I was watching "The Woman in Limbo" today, and noticed something I never noticed before! In the end, we all noted that Bones dedicated her book to Booth. What I hadn't noticed, until now, was that the title was crossed out. Why is that significant? Booth said, "Yuck on the title" at the beginning in the scene where David (the boyfriend) brought the manuscript. Bones listened to what he had to say, and took it seriously. :)

I miss hearing more about her writing. I miss Bones being the boss. I miss Bones being the one to "identify people when no one knows who they are." Why do we need Bones if we have all that tissue and blood and guts around? Seriously. She's a Bone Lady. Let her do what she does best on bodies that have very little tissue!

Sorry about the rant. I found out last week that Cam is being kept as a main character, and in protest, I'm spending all my time watching the episodes I really like. Of course, they're all from season 1. *sigh*

We haven't met Cam in Australia yet. I'm under the impression I'm not going to like her.

Tonight we're having an episode where a plane crash had six dead, but they've found seven sets of human remains.

Good show.. I have some question cuz here we're behind..
I read something about ex-girlfriend of booth coming back what happen with that? what's going on between booth and bones or nothing yet??

Adreina: Camille, or "Cam," an ex-cop turned almost-coroner shows up at the beginning of Season 2. I hate her. I really, really hate her. But, anyways, that's just my opinion.

As of this point in Season 2, Booth is back with Cam, his ex-girlfriend. Bones has no attachment that we know of, and is oblivious to his attachment to Cam. So, sorry, no good Booth/Bones yumminess right now beyond season 1 yumminess (which was still pretty yummy).

Two more pics from 2x08 and a little more!

Oh, and from 2x12:

They softened Epp's mother. I just got the revised sides today, and she's much more sympathetic, which is a tad annoying since I really enjoyed the brashness of that character in the original sides. Ah well, their show, and they know what they're doing much better than I!

And, it looks like Cam and Booth are still together. Not positive, but he kisses her at one point. Yeah, kisses her. It doesn't say how or where, but I'm assuming it's a kiss on the lips.

Agent Ramirez, one of the guys following Bones around was made funnier, saying Booth made scary threats and told him not to listen to Bones. Doesn't he remember that the last time he trusted her in the hands of anyone and told them that her opinion didn't matter she ended up strung up in an abandoned warehouse about to be killed and destroyed?

Oh, and that super cool moment where Bones went up to her apartment alone? Doesn't happen anymore. She gets escorted, and they hand her a panic button. Granted, this seems a little more realistic than, "Wave from the window," but it definitely intrigued me.

And.... I know how it ends, now. Wanna know? Really? You really wanna know how 2x12 ends?

Booth finds Epps. Somehow, Epps is about to fall off the side of a building, and Booth is loosing his grip, telling the monster to grab onto the railing. Then, Epps lets Booth know that if he gets to live, he's going after Parker. Epps drops to his death... but we don't know if Booth lost his grip, or if he let go...

Also, the scene after that has Booth and Brennan drinking coffee in her kitchen, the other agents swarming around. It's bittersweet, for me, because it feels like Cam and Booth are still together. *sigh* However, that's true to his character that he is a long-term guy. Is it bad to say I hope she dies in the finale? I really, really don't like Cam. As I explained on LJ the other day, this isn't X-Files where you loved to hate Krychek. This is X-Files where you wanted Fowley to roast slowly over an open flame.

Cam was okay with me until that episode where she and Booth were in bed together. Geez, that sent chills down my spine.

By the way, thanks for those pictures. :) Where did you get those spoilers, by the way?

keich, believe it or not, I accidentally found a source. Total accident. So, now I have someone sending me sides. LOL!

And you're welcome for the pics! Thank boreanaz.net and flickr! :)

Cam and Booth do end badly but I don't have any details yet :(

There is an ep called Man in the Spaceship where Brennan and I think Hodgins but it may be Zack get buried alive...Grave Danger anyone? lol maybe they can do group therapy with Nicky..."survivors of being buried alive" or something.

Hadn't heard about the Cam/Booth breakup. Source?

And, you're right, MacsGirlMel, it's Bones and Hodgins who are buried alive by the Grave Digger, a killer who snatches up people, buries them, gives a single demand for ransom, and if it is not paid within a certain amount of time, leaves the kidnappees to die.

There's actually a nice theme of guilt in that episode. At least, there was in the original sides.
