That's not a bad idea! One of the places selling Rockies stuff that I went to is all out of rally towels, so I should just make one myself...the local paper printed this page that you can fold up to make a rally hat. It's sort of cheesy, but I wore it during all of games 3 & 4 of the NCLS (which worked out pretty well...). Might as well just make a rally towel to go with it!

So now I just sit and wait to see who is playing the Rockies (seriously, it seems like Wednesday is never going to get here)...

Ah baseball at it's finest tonight. Game 7 and everything that matters is on the line. Since the Blue Jays play the Red Sox more often I would say that I'm leaning a little more to the Red Sox side to win but with the way the Rockies have been playing I don't think it matters who wins tonight because I think the Rockies just may have more incentive to win the World Series. But that being said may the best team win

I don't know what is going on but on STO (Sports Time Ohio) the show "All Bets Are Off" Bruce mentioned that directly after the game the "PLAYERS" called and in house meeting with each other. This only happens when there are arguments amoung team members, or if someone is having problems and needs to talk it out, its like from what I have heard one big family meeting, minus the coaches and Manager, etc. The players call it, they run it and they deal with it.

Hopefully this meeting will help them to figure out whatever they needed to, it was like the spark just would not light. The only thing I can say is in the past the Indians have never been your 'normal' team, ALDS should have been rapped up quick, nope they took it one extra game, They don't give up until that fineal out is called, but yesterday I can't explain it, but then they split in Boston the first time around, so who knows its a 50/50 chance game.

Course the umps do not help the situation, in the WS I could see a narrower strike zone but in these series they got it so tight you the pitcher are playing "Find the strike Zone" if you get it then YAY if you don't then crap.

GO Tribe, win or lose I am still proud of you!!!

I never seen such a sloppy game, but hopefully, like many do, the Indians will bounce back more determined. But I have to admit, Boston is playing the way they have been for most of the season, and still look strong...NOT fond of that idea, but I gotta give them a little credit.

As for the team meeting, minus coaches and trainers, I can just imagine what that is going to be like or WAS like. I've taken part in a couple of meetings like that for our ball hockey in the past, and boy did one of them get nasty. And we were not getting paid to play...!! Hopefully, this will clear up some tension, or troubles or whatever you want to call it and get things worked out so they can get back out on the field and play like they have in games 2,3 and 4.

The thing I find most interesting in the last couple of games is that Boston seems to have been motivated by Manny Ramirez's comment about there is always next year. I thought for sure the Indians would have had the motivation to send Boston packing instead the comment seems to have spurred the Red Sox. Is Cleveland trying to hard and not playing as a team. Remember what happened to the Astros when they played the White Sox in 2006. Chicago came out and played as a team and the Astros players were each playing for themselves.

Actually according the players the team meetings in house like this is to clear the air, talk about what is bothering you, and how others can help. From what I understand these meetings don't get heated and they pretty much seem to work out.

Shoot this last game was motivated by some moron to be nice taking the words of Ryan Garko and adding some in and using that as motivation, I am sorry but when you need a sign (an actually sign on the door) to inspire you there is a problem, and what does that say about the fans lol.

As to cleveland I don't know what is going on with them, the two top pitchers one had one bad post season outting where his emotions got him into trouble, and this time around trying to avoid that we went to far the othr way. The other carmona he is young an this is his first post season series, like alot of the players except for a few, his intentions are good but I guess its the old saying about best of intentions.

But like there wasn't enough problems check this out

Just wanted to stop in to say congratulations to JD Drew for his grand slam in last night's game.

Whatever happens tonight, I am so proud of my guys for coming back from being two games down to tie it up...bring on game 7!

well, despite the fact I am cheering for the Indians, it is nice to see someone break out of a slump like Drew did...unfortunately for Indian fans, it was in the form of a grand slam, that led the Red Sox team to victory and tie the series up for tonight final and deciding game.

Whoever wins tonight, I just hope its a great game, no lop sided scores like last night. I am more for the nail-biting, OMG can't look scoring of just a run or two in the difference...that makes a game exciting....well, personally anyway...

I totally agree! I think that's why I like baseball so much. There were many times during the NLCS where I felt like I was going to puke from being so nervous. With timed sports like football and hockey, you wait until the clock runs out, and then that's it. With baseball, however, you never know what is about to happen and you find yourself holding your breath with every pitch sometimes. It's much more dramatic to me.

I wrote this up a couple days ago and I tweaked it tonight, But its something I truely feel about the Indians.

"While I would have loved to see them win it all (this series and the WS) even though they didn't I am proud of this team, they have done alot to get to this point, they worked their tails off and at the sametime they remained true to themselves, to their fans and to each other. This team is a family and they have proven that time and again, they have had their ups and downs but to get this far considering that some are young, inexperienced in this area means a great deal. The fact that no one person on the team is considered the "star" everyone contributes no matter what and when one is down they pick that person up, they put their hearts into getting where they are today.

They maybe a simple blue collar team with a small payroll and so on, but its the heart this team has that matters its what helps them to reach that next level, and sure they fall, they are not immuned to the one step forward, two steps back and that is something imo they seem to embrace, when they were in the slumps where it looked like all was lost they battled back against the odds, they went from a team that some people thought and said would never make it into the post season to being here. From what I have seen and heard from these guys no matter how far down they are, they don't give up right there and say "hmm maybe next time". If the offense wins the game and the starting pitcher loses, they don't consider that because to them everyone won. They don't seem to point fingers if they lose and if they have problems they all take care of it on the spot in house, they don't lable themselves other then to say they are human beings who have faults, will not always be perfect, and will sometimes fail. I don't like lables to me what defines any player is what they have done the good, the bad and the hard work put into what they do.

I am not blind to their faults they have them everyone does, theirs are just magnified. no one is perfect and I am not saying this team is, they need to work harder in alot of areas, but the fact that they got to this place when no one thought they would.. thats excellent, next season I feel they will work harder and they will be even better then this year. All I am saying is that I am proud of the team like alot of you are.

Now I believe they had the chance, lofton was clearly safe at second and should have been the tieing run, and then skinner holding Lofton at third dumb jack---, during the regular season he always sends a slow runner gets them out at the plate, but then they have a speed runner and he holds him, when clearly there wouldn't have been a throw to the plate. The team was breathing easier, more relaxed, and then skinner did that and from there it was total down fall. But I wouldn't have blamed them if they would have stood there and just let the strikes go by in the end, but they didn't they tried to do what they could knowing the outcome, which is why I wrote that above and why I am proud of them.

Congrats to the Boston Red Sox for beating the Cleveland Indians and winning the ALCS. It should be an interesting World Series starting on Wednesday.

Well, hats off to the Red Sox, they proved once again that you can be down, but you're never out. It was hard to watch the game to the end, but it was a great series, between two great teams, and they pushed it right to the end.

Good luck to Boston for they should have their hands full with Colorado. This should be an interesting World Series, between these two teams.

Congrats to the Indians for an amazing run and for some extremely exciting ball.
