YES!!!! :) Yankees beat the Red Sox 8-4. Since Cleveland won too were still a half game back in the wild card but it's nothing we can't make up!

you're a Jim Brass fan. ;) Did you realize that Paul Guilfoyle is from the Boston area? But he now lives in New York, which makes me wonder, if he is a Yankees or a Red Sox fan? ;)

I know Paul's from Boston and yes I looked into it he's a Red Sox fan, I guess he has to cheer for his hometown team. I can't hold it against him, I still love the guy. He such a brilliant actor.

Headin' to the Cubs' game tonight. 4 free tickets, near the press box with free parking also. Anyone with WGN try and catch the game to see if I'm on. Cubs jersey and black CSI baseball cap.
 
okay....the GNATS are a 1 man team - BONDS. so they won the first 2 games..but we won todays. HECK YES!!!

padres have the day off tomorrow...then friday, saturday, sunday...back home from the road to play the Washington Nationals. its an inaugural series cuz the Nationals have never been to San Diego...AS the nationals.

Well, Cubbies lost to those darn Reds again. Dusty sure looked pretty ticked about the whole thing last night. They showed him saying some bad words in the dugout. :)

Hey, they won when we were there... 10 innings too. Not to mention my friend just missed getting her head lopped off by a foul ball. The guy behind her caught it.

Who here knows about the goat curse thing thats supposed to be on Wrigley Field? :lol: :lol: :lol: If you've ever been here (Chicago) you've probably heard about it...
 
I've heard of the Billy Goat curse, in which a guy wanted to take his goat in Wrigley Field during the 1945 World Series. He was ejected from the stadium, and he cursed the Cubs, saying they will never get back to the World Series. I have a few questions though? One, who did the black cat run in front of in the on deck circle in '69; and two, who do you blame more for Game 6 of the '03 NLCS, Bernie Mac, Steve Bartman, or Alex Gonzalez?

I live near Philadelphia, and it is not just one team that is cursed there, it is all the teams that are cursed. The Curse of Billy Penn.
 
padres won last nite and today.

last nite...12th inning! and in the 9th..Khalil Greene got a grand slam home run! i didnt watch it cuz i was in L.A....but i watched SportsCenter. lol
and i got a text message today saying we won today's game...yayyyy padres!
