So he's part Greek? *squee* No wonder he's so sexy. It's a given that I like him even more now . Thanks so much for that article Hummer :). I'll probably make it a Blockbuster night this weekend with a bunch of AB films. Argos is such a beautiful place. Ooh, and I found something that you all might like:

Hey wow...I didn't know that, thanks Hummer! AB with Greek heritage! It's awesome that he wants to have a place in Greece. I've never been but I've read a lot and know some people from there. It is breathtaking!

Wow, lovely icons jorji. I love that last one. I'd die if he looked at me like that. Seriously! He does know how to seduce. Hey, enjoy your AB filled weekend.

I'm actually introducing a class-mate to him on Friday evening. She's heard me gab so much about him she's intrested to see what the craze is all about. We're watching 'King Kong' and maybe 'Love the Hard Way.' :)

I've seen a little of him in Love the Hard Way and he was so hot I had to change the channels. Gah.

You guys are so lucky you get to gush over AB with someone else, no one here has heard of him and if they do they're over 30.

jorja_fan86 nice to see u here :) for me was pleasure to read ur comment for 'King Kong', hope soon to have luck to see more AB moves. hi is so talented actor :D

my fav film of AB after 'Pianist' is 'The Jacket' - i love this type of story (a bit strange but with big conception).

and for this news that AB can (be able ) play in romance comedy is a little surprise for me...i know that hi will do it well but i want to see him in serious movies .... well after all one so differently role will prove again his actor gift

and when Hummer mention his Academy Award winning for best actor in movie - ‘The Pianist’ ....as i know AB is the youngster actor who win Oscar, and the only one American guy ever win France Award Sezar again for the ‘The Pianist’ movie...

i`m a little too asleep hope don`t make mistake with this facts... with the ages my memory go down

and not in last place want to say thanks to HnM for this improbable AB pics :D

He certainly is super hot in 'Love the Hard Way'. Some great close ups of his eyes in that film.

You're right about the info concerning AB's awards Pusher. He was the youngest person ever to win best actor and the only american ever to win the France Award.

Oh and some more pics for you:

Yes, AB is the youngest person to ever win in the best actor category. And I hear, from a lot of critiques, that his next two movies (Hollywoodland & Manolete) may garner him two nominations for best actor at the same Oscars.

Oh, and I found this article over at FORBES.com yesterday.

FORBES. COM
April 24th, 2006

A new man has been named to the prestigious list of Hollywood’s A-List actors. Among those raking in those bulky paychecks there are such internationally know individuals as Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Michael Douglas, and Clint Eastwood. Ford making a whopping 180 million for his latest blockbuster ‘Firewall’.

The Hollywood A-List, not necessarily a material list, being probably the shortest list there is. Thus, it is understandable when a big deal is made when someone new is added into the fold of those that ‘make out like bandits’ for just keeping the general public entertained.

Yesterday, thirty-three-year-old actor Adrien Brody signed a six-year contract with Universal citing that he will make 12 films in that allotted time. The actor, who became the youngest person ever to win an Oscar for best actor for the 2002 film ‘The Pianist’, will reportedly make between 120 to 140 million per movie. Just add that up!

The New York born actor, recognized internationally by his prominent nose, has recently wrapped filming on the movie ‘Hollywoodland’ and is now filming a bullfighting movie in Spain about the most important bullfighter ‘Manolete’. Both movies have generated huge Oscar buzz in Hollywood. Many film critiques are predicting that he may make history again, being nominated for best actor for two movies. Having seen a screening of the film myself, I must say I wouldn’t be surprised.

After he is finished filming ‘Manolete’ he will be working with Tom Hanks in ‘Sliced’, doing an unnamed Speilberg project, playing alongside Michael Douglas in a thriller directed by the writer of the psycho-thriller ‘Stay’, and has already been asked by J.J Abrams to be in the 2008 ‘Star-Trek’ movie. Brody has not yet accepted the role.

My reaction is nothing short of WOW!

Wow, that is some amazing news! Thanks for posting it Hummer. That is definately A LOT of money to have jingling in his pocket. I certainly found the Star Trek info interesting.

You're welcome HAM. 120-140 mill a movie is definately a lot. It's good to know that he's getting what he's worth now. I know he only made like 3 million for 'The Village'!

I'm also excited about the Star Trek thing. :)

Okay, found these pics of Adrien, his girlfriend Michelle Dupont, and his dog Ceelo. They were taken in Malibu. Also, hope you gals enjoy my informative captions.

Adrien: Hey see that dog over there? Michelle: Yeah, so.
Adrien: Let's go show them my dog. Michelle: You sure?
Adrien: This is my dog. Ceelo: WHAT IS THAT?!
Michelle: Why do you have to show your dog off to everyone? Adrien: What's wrong with that? Ceelo: I smell another dog!
Adrien: Who can I call and talk about my dog? Ceelo: IT'S BACK!
Adrien: Hey, you wanna talk about my dog?

And I've seen 'Stay' this last month. Ryan Gosling and Ewan McGregor were great. It is certainly an awesome movie. It's great to know that AB will be doing a movie with the guy behind it.

 I need to see 'Scary Movie 4'. It's not playing in any theater here so I may have to wait until it comes out on DVD. And thanks for thinking of me :D.

An article I found today concerning AB:

Adrien learns the secrets of a Spanish passion

Oh,no,bullfighting no.I get sick only to hear about it.
I wish that film won't have any success,he's a great actor so I wish him a lot of success but not with "Manolete".
I'm also disappointed with Penélope Cruz,I've heard her saying she was against bullfighting and now she makes this film...
Well, sorry, but I needed to say it,I'm Spanish and I hate bullfighting as lots of people here.

I've heard both Cruz and Brody say that they don't condone bullfighting and don't hope to popularize it by making it. Both are animal rights supporters and have asked that PETA members are present during the filming, so as to see to it that no animals are hurt.
