Adrien Brody

I like your avatar, Hummer!
In the What? he looks like one of my classmates...freaky.

Oh, and the workable hair-nyummy pix!

heh i can rest a little when i know that didn`t make mistake for AB and motorcycles :D

and this idea all we three of us to see 'Harrison's Flowers' at same time sound very very good :p

to my thought come one real online icq video chat  but who will translate to me hahha

Hummer and HnM thanks for this lovely AB pics...hey girls u will make me forgot DC for how i`m her in talkcsifiles :p

and lane nice to 'see' u agin her in AB thread :)

I watched him a couple of nights ago in King Kong and all I gotta say is *guh*. He has the sofest most beautiful eyes ever. I love his cheekbone structure and those lips are so sensual. My favourite scene naturally when he was shirtless on the ship in the beginning. He's a whole different kind of man!

Nice to see you again lane.

Pusher and Hummer watching 'Harrison's Flowers' at similar times sounds like fun. :) And Ani, let's hope you don't forget DC.

*squee* jorji I knew you'd make it here! I saw your post in the 'Last film' thread and just knew you'd find your way ;). His eyes really are so gorgeous and that shirtless scene gets me every time !

Did you see the DVD with the special feautures? On the disk I watched they showed that Adrien did his own stunt driving. Peter Jackson just hooked some cameras up to the car and 'let em have it.' Real cool, I'm planning on capping that footage when time allows.

Also, thought I'd share this icon I made. With the fawesome pics of AB and Ceelo Vicious:

 You know me too well. I haven't watched the extras yet but all I gotta say is that Adrien can drive my car anyday . If I were that Ann girl I'd totally go for Jack, not the monkey.

 Let's hope this means you're gonna be hanging around here.

Ann letting Jack get away was one of the parts that had me clawing my hair out. I mean, what woman in their right mind lets that happen?!

I think what amazed me the most about those extras is that when Kong flipped the car over AB was actually IN it. They used like this big hammer thing (can't I describe so eloquently? :p) to flip it.

I think the craziest part in the whole movie is when Jack is at the type writer and he's spelling out Skull Island and it's all in slow motion as is his voice. Just a useless scene to me I guess.

 You can never get rid of me. Once I find something I like I'm there so good luck getting rid of me and my gutter mind :p. I remember pausing that scene where Adrien's character was shirtless. My little brother was like, "C'mon, this is so stupid. I wanna see the ape!" and I replied, "Shaddup, lemme have my moment." I agree with you about Ann. There's Jack, this total sex good and then there's King Kong, this...monkey. Eh, maybe she like's her um, guys hairy.

*eta* Ok, I gotta confession to make. When I first saw this thread I thought it was about Adam Brody, the dude from The OC. I guess I got them confused and thank god I didn't post...otherwise everyone would've thought I was a total nut .

 Good to know you're sticking. Movies with men like AB in it are always best watched with someone who understands te hawtness! ;) btw, is Kong the only AB movie you've seen?

I know how easy it is to confuse Adam and Adrien. I heard one night that Adam Brody was going to be on Leno and my mind must've heard Adrien. I was really kicking myself later! Just so you guys know, they're not related.

And some pics for you gals to stare at :

Yep, King Kong is the only AB film I've seen. *avoids flying objects* Hey, what movies of his do you guys recommend? If there's a shirtless scene I am so renting it. Who cares about the plot . Anyway, HaM those are some sexy AB photos that you posted there. The last shot is a favourite. Any guy with dark hair and green eyes is a sex god to me.

Was I gone THAT long?

I'd recommend Dummy-he is so friggin' cute in that one. Every scene I see him I feel like squishing a pillow. EEEEeeeek!

Anyway I hear him and Lindsay Lohan are going to star in a romantic comedy. I think this news was already here, but my reaction to this: WTF?!!!
She's too young! (Okay, so I'm younger) He's too hot! They will not make a match!

He's definately very awesome in 'Dummy' as Steven. The conversations he has with his dummy are so wonderful you think he's talking to an entirely different person. However, the movie 'Jacket' is still creating a lot of buzz and there's some hot scenes there ;).

No kidding-I heard of that too, but didn't get to see it. I stick very closely to the reviews and they say not to watch it (aka stinker) but when it comes to the tube I'll watch it.

Oh 'Jacket' really is a good movie. If I'd listened to a lot of the reviews on it I would've missed out on one hell of a movie. I'm sure anymore who's seen it knows just how awesome it is.

Speaking of AB movies I watched 'Oxygen' today after class. I haven't seen the movie in awhile and didn't know I had it until I was unpacking the stuff for my apartment. He stars alongside 'ER's Maura Tierney and is actually the criminal  so of course his character was bound to meet his end.

Ooh maybe I'll rent Dummy this weekend. Is Jacket a scary film 'cause when it comes to horror movies I'm chicken shit.

Hey Jorjafan and welcome to this thread! I’ve seen your posts over in the Stella and Yelina thread! I think you may be happy to know that AB does have Greek heritage. His great grandfather came from Argos, married a Hungarian woman, and moved to Poland. Here’s an excerpt I found from late 2005 when Adrien mentions it:

ESQUIRE MAGAZINE
…I think one of the most magical places to film at would be in Greece somewhere. It really doesn’t matter where at—the entire country is breathtaking. I’ve actually got some Greek roots, yeah. I consider that quite an honor. My Mom always told me stories about him when I was a kid. She’d tell me how he had met this beautiful dancer and they had to flee the country because he was in debt. It really must’ve been hard for my great granddad to have to leave such a place. It was hard for me to leave and I was only there for a week to housesit, just imagine all the emotions he was feeling when he had to say goodbye. Right now, I’m looking for a place there. Somewhere quiet where I can hear the birds…

Also, as for recommending Brody movies I’d have to say seeing his Academy Award winning movie for best actor is a sure fire way to see just how wonderfully he can act. ‘The Pianist’ is a sad melancholy movie but he is heartbreakingly perfect in it.

'Jacket' isn't scary just a psychological-thriller. If you like Hitchcock you'll love it. Also, glad to know you'll be seeing 'Dummy'. Don't forget to post all your thoughts on it!
