Drew's "Price"-Inflicted Battle Scars
Drew Carey says he's fine after his on-set accident last week, but dear Lord -- look at his wrist! It looks like he was dog sitting at Michael Vick's house!

The new "Price Is Right" emcee showed off his battle wounds while on KROQ's "Kevin & Bean" show in Los Angeles this morning. Back on Friday, Drew got his arm caught in the revolving turntable on stage while rehearsing for the Grocery Game. He was back on set later that day in a soft cast, joking around with crew members and showing off his battle wounds.

Protect the human population! Time to have those pricing games spayed and neutered!

Good grief! Look what that accident did to his face... Oh wait. He always looks like that.

Never mind.

Wow, Dynamo, that was kind of rude.

Have new episodes featuring Drew aired yet..? Im curious to see if the show still has the same feel to it.

Just the 'Power of 10' episodes. I don't believe the new 'Price of Right' episodes have even begun filming yet.

They have begun filming because he was injured during a grocery store game for TPIR, but they haven't been aired yet.

Dom Imus Sued for Slander by Rutgers Player
Kia Vaughn, a member of the Rutgers women's basketball team that Don Imus dissed with a sexist and racial slur this past April, on Tuesday sued the former CBS Radio personality and his then-employer, alleging slander and defamation of character. Ironically, the lawsuit was filed the very day Imus and CBS settled his threatened $120-million breach-of-contract action.

Court papers claim Vaughn was humiliated and publicly mocked as a result of Imus' comments, but specify no dollar amount. "This is about Kia Vaughn's good name," her attorney tells the AP. "She would do anything to return to her life as a student and respected basketball player — a more simple life before Imus opened his mouth on April 4."

A CBS Radio rep declined to discuss the lawsuit, while Imus' attorney has yet to respond to the AP's request for comment. - TVGuide

Britney Plots a "Surprise" Comeback as Bisexual Buzz Dogs Her Custody Bid
Provided she can get her act together — literally and figuratively — in time for the Sept. 9 kudoscast, Britney Spears is planning a surprise performance at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, hopefully signaling her "comeback," the New York Daily News reports. Just don't expect more girl-on-girl action... at least not on the stage. Adding fuel to the fire as ex-husband Kevin Federline wages a custody battle, a new story in OK! posits that Spears has been having a torrid affair with longtime Gal Friday Shannon Funk. Will Funk kiss and tell? Maybe so, now that she is among the BFFs who have been subpoenaed to testify in the case, says People.

A Sept. 14 hearing has been set for the Spears-Federline squabble. - TVGuide

In all actuality, there really isn't that much good news today. :p

Bruckheimer and CBS Chase Treasure Hunters

Jerry "Prolific Producer" Bruckheimer, he of CSI, Cold Case, Without a Trace and Amazing Race fame (and that's just TV), has secured a pilot order from longtime landing pad CBS for an untitled drama revolving around freelance treasure hunters, the Reporter reports.

Ethan Reiff, who is penning the series with his Sleeper Cell cocreator Cyrus Voris, pegs it as an "A-class network version of an archaeology adventure show," and one grounded in (arti)facts by expert consultants. "It's not Indiana Jones for television," he says. "It's more grounded, more contemporary."

WOW, Bruckheimer is doing yet again something else , poor guy, I know he needs the money  wished he'd spread it around a bit, maybe I should write him a letter, and see if he'd send me some ;)

I was debating where to put this.
