British Fans... Who would you cast in CSI: London?

ooh!! marvy thread! i hoep it isn't just restricted to English actors? cause i have a scottish one in mind!

Detective: Colin Firth
Main Detective/CSI: John Hannah - i love how he can be serious AND quirky
CSI: Dominic Monoghan
CSI: Rachel Weisz
CSI: Parminder Nagra
Coroner: Jeremy Irons

woo! that was quite difficult actually...

The lovely John Hannah would be great!
Christopher Eccleston would also be in my choices. Think he'd be fantastic!

Mac/H/Grissom type - Anthony Head or John Rhys-Davis

Coroner - Bill Bailey, this would be the funniest piece of casting ever.

Labrats - Tennant since everyone else has gone for him :p Would love to see Billy Boyd in there. And Kris Marshall.

Detective - what about Jamie Bamber?

As for female cast members, Meera Siyal (I've so spelt that wrong) would be great, I know Billie Piper isn't a popular choice but she could be killed off at some point :p Keely Hawes, Alex Kingston would be awesome in a Cath/Stella type role. What about Minnie Driver?

I think either all britich actors are in comedy or are allready in some kind of police programme like the bill or midsomer murders. Everyoen else is really old like David Jason, Helen M etc its would be more like CSI:OAP.

Insted of Hummers we should drive landrovers or mini's! lol

For our Major production in Media myself and a group of friends made a CSI style intro for CSI:UK.
I dont mean to brag but we all got A* and were the top of our class.

I would love to see ASH and Alexis Denisof on CSI UK and Stephen Fry would make a great CSI!

What's Simon MacCorkindale (sp?) doing these days? I always thought he was hot.

Also, if you're going to cast Ralph Fiennes, we need to throw his brother Joseph in there too--he could be the Greg/Ryan type--he's got those eyes.

Also like Anthony Head for either the supervisor or the coroner

Or can you imagine Michael York ('ello, Basil)?

we could throw matthew mcfadyen in there somewhere

I was thinking those EXACT words! I hadn't even been on this thread before and just as I was going to post I looked back to see if i was about to copy someone.....

I imagine he could play any of the greg/nick/warrick figures, I think he's a very good actor!

This really makes you rack your brains :)

I'd have to go for Jack Dee as one of the leads, he's awesome and i think he could do serious acting when it called for it!and of course he'd provide the humour!
Still i like the idea of a female lead,Helen Mirren would work for me and Kris Marshall would be great as a lab rat so kudos to who thought of him.
Then i was thinking Paul fox.I never saw Mathew Mcfadyen in spooks but Rupert Penry-Jones is great.

john ryhs davies would be good as corner.
whatever you do - don't get an american involved i.e john barrowman and alexis denisof - other than that your either kill them or arrest them .

we have to have an episode made - cbs and 5 should really listen to there fans. someone email danny dyer he done 2 seasons of CSI.
we hope a series will be made eventually come on its the capital.

I agree with the inclusion of Jack davenport. He's very good, and is good at darker themed programmes, as seen in 'Ultraviolet'

Hi, can I add my cast of CSI:UK-

1- Martin Kemp (ex-Steve Owen from Eastenders, too cool)
2- Nigella Lawson (would men like watching her stir up potions in the lab, I think so)
3- Gazza "what's his real name" from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps
4- Judi Dench or Helen Mirren as intelligent older character
and for coroner... Anthony Worral Thompson!
