Is that for both the CSI challenges and the Misc challenges, because I think the Misc challenges have plenty of participants, but maybe that's just me :lol:

No as far as I know, It is just for the CSI Fanart Forum, the misc challenge is run seperatly and if that was to tak a break it would be decided by the misc Mods ;) Right Meg?

@Meg, Is it right that we can discuss our challenge deadlines etc in here?

Like nattybatty said, we don't have control over what happens in the Misc challenge, as it's not in our forum ;) Sorry, I didn't think to mention that in my post.

Maybe I'm a little bit slow:lol: but I didn't understand one thing.

Since challenges will run once a months from now, are you saying that for example CSI:Miami Challenge & The alternating Banner one are going to be suspended in this months?

Plus when this thing will start, will we have just one, maximum 2 challanges running every months?

Sorry but today I'm even slower than the usual:p

It means that each challenge runs once a month, so every challenge will have a new challenge/theme each month, does that make sense?

As the NY icon challenge has recently had a challenge me and Roosey are not going to post a new one untill about the 17th with a deadline of the 30th ;)

In an earlier announcement, I said that running the challenges only once each per month would go until January 1st, when we would open discussions on it. However, CSI_Kat and I have realized that this isn't very good timing. December/January tend to be very busy for many people, and may very well be affecting entry numbers. So, we've decided to extend this a bit until February 1st, and open discussion on it then.

Challenge runners, I apologize for not giving advanced notice. I haven't been very organized lately :( :p

Okay, as promised, discussion will now be opened about the running of the challenges.

Do you think that running the challenges only once each per month makes a difference?
Do you think we should continue with this rule?
Do you have other suggestions to help increase the number of entries in the challenges?
Anything else you want to add that I haven't thought of? :lol:

We want to hear from both challenge runners and participants here, so please don't be afraid to add to the discussion.

Also, please remember, that while CSI_Kat and I will take your comments/opinions into consideration, the final decision does rest with us. We'll do our best to make everyone happy, but, well, you all know how that goes ;)

Not really, in the banner challenges the entry levels have been in same and in the LV IC challenge and NY IC challenge. But it did however help me cause the amount of challenges weren't so overwelming as they use to be. Therefore I can enter challenges without running out of time.

IMO it didn't really get more enteries in challenges so maybe this rule shouldn't be continued with. IMO opinion it just slowed down the forum and made it seem very quite in fanart.

Maybe having the challenge breaks like before would work better. I don't know just my 2 per cent :).
