Thumpy - Thanks for posting those airline requirements for everyone. That will likely come in handy for many people who don't travel much ... or ever. Must say I was freakin' pissed the last time I flew to LA to see Top and had to toss a pricey hair product because it was bigger than 3 oz. ... Of course, I think you're fine if you check you bags. I only had that problem because I was only there for one night and just had a small carry on.

Man, I just nobody else wants me as there's not enough of me to go around :lol: :devil:. Oh, and that "once you go Greek, you don't walk for a week" is very true so anyone who wants a piece of me shouldn't go near me if they want to wake up early for a run or jog :lol:. As for the airline stuff, yeah its total baloney, I was so pissed, they made me toss some of my Mac makeup on Friday when I went to fly out... stupid airline people - but yet, they didnt toss my stupid $2.00 razor, they went straight for the stuff that costs $50.00 a bottle. I think like Mrs. G said, if you check your bags you're all good.

Jorja and Feenx I'm ready for some different cultural food experienes, lets do it!

Same thing happened to me this summer, they confiscated a brand-new foundation and mascara before I boarded the plane to LA... needless to say with Hill's book signing the day after my first stop when we got there was at a local store to buy them again. :lol:

As for cooking, that sounds like a great idea. I've never tried Greek food so I'm all for it, and maybe if I make it there I can do something Italian too... ;)

Hee, everyone's planning on cooking all these different kinds of meals, I swear Im going to gain like 10 lbs after this trip :lol

Because the foundation was a liquid one and the mascara... I don't really know. *shrugs*

:lol: I will most definately be packing all of my hair, makeup and lotion products in my non carry on luggage. I use expensive products and I would be pissed if any of my makeup or cleansers were tossed. :mad:

PrettyEyes , me thinks that MrsG is correct that you are afraid of the strip clubs. :lol: Do not be afraid, the strip clubs are actually a lot of fun :eek: and I promise that we are completely harmless! ;)

It really sounds like a fun group is getting together for this! I am ready for a damn vacation- NOW! :lol:

Tis true. I mean, I haven't really been to a strip club but I'm sure they're pretty tame, with all the male strippers shaking their asses to some fast tunes. Then there's the lap dances. Oh yes, the lap dances :devil:. I just gotta remember to get some singles as I don't want to go to the guy, "Um, I just gave you a ten. Would you mind giving a little change? Thanks." Yeah, 'cause that's not awkward at all :lol:. Seriously though [/b]Pretty[/b] I'll help you out ;). Ooh, and not all of us are harmless :devil:...

Sounds like things are rolling right along! :D Yay!

As for booking tickets--if you're coming from overseas/outside the U.S., probably the sooner the better. In the U.S., unless you see a great fare, you're probably okay waiting until the spring--April or May. But if you see a great fare--I think I saw someone mention $250 roundtrip?--consider jumping on it. When I was in Chicago, I paid in the $320-350 range. I think if you guys keep checking, you can probably do better. Not sure what the standard NY to LA fares are, but I'd guess around $400 is probably it given that they are on opposite sides of the country.

If you're looking for cheaper flights, check Southwest and JetBlue. Is United's Ted still around? If so, that's one to look into as well.

Santa Monica Pier and the NBC tour seem to be popular choices. NBC shows should be back in production by then (we'd probably want to try to go on Friday to see filming) and the Pier/beach might be fun for Saturday.

ThisIsMe, I hope you can make it! PrettyEyes, people who live in SoCal don't really have an excuse not to come for it. :p If it's a road trip, can't it be changed? ;)

Orison and Camelot, yay, I'm glad you guys are trying to put something together! :D It will be great to see you both again.

^^ I think I mentioned the wrong tour. The one I was referring to a few pages back was actually the Warner Brothers. Already took it twice but it was worth each and every one of those $50... Not sure about the NBC one, but I've also heard the Paramount one is cool.

And yeah, it looks like both Camelot and I will be there. :D
