Your Parents are annyoying when........

It's mostly my dad who's annoying. It really winds me up when he clearly knows absolutely nothing about me. Like when he was asking me questions about my college course 2 years after I started it, right at the end, or when he's still suprised that I don't like dark chocolate or something, even though I've never liked it. Shows how much attention he actually pays to me.

and they just ruin the good songs! In fact my mother was singing 'Wild Rover' to me for some reason tonight and I couldnt do anything but say '...you do know you're ruining the song, dont you?'.

when they won't let you play tennis.

won't give you money for the school fundraiser.

REFUSE TO HELP WITH DRIVERS ED HOURS!

I hate when they do that. It bugs the heck out of me.
mine learnt not to do that the hard way rofl, they walk in on something they dont want to see and then i get in trouble for not having a lock on my door, after i'd asked a million times and they'd said no... how is that my fault lol.

then came the lecture about what was going on rofl.

I guess I'm the "old lady" on this thread, because I see your parents as protective when they want to know the who, what, where, when, why and how of your life and going out. Yep, I just said that. Don't quite believe it myself.

One of these days, you're going to appreciate the parental units. I do. My Dad passed away 10 years ago, and I miss him a lot. However, I take his lessons to heart. Your parents are trying to save you some of the heartache they encountered growing up, and maybe impart some of the lessons they learned the hard way. Dang, I do sound like an adult. When did that happen?

you tell them something and they only hear half of it and then they ask you what you just told them 5 minutes later.

- When they pick and poke at you when you're in a bad mood, and then yell at you if you get pissed off.
- When they ask you if you're in a bad mood.
- They tell you to do the things they can do themselves [ such as, go get my some ice. YOU CAN DO THAT ! ]
- They sing along with the radio.
- They drum on the steering wheel.
- Give you like, 500 things to do after school [ laundry, dishes, blah blah blah! ]
- Tell you to go on the computer and find them something.
- Tell you to get off the computer.
- They give you weird nicknames.
- They talk about your friends to your face.
- They flip when you don't do as they asked you RIGHT AWAY!

THE LIST GOES ON.

Here's a You Know Your Parents Are Embarrassing Moment!

-I once went to see a movie with my mom and she yelled out, "What's wrong with Josh Lucas' Hair?!" Everyone stared at us. We were watching Failure To Launch, which stars Matthew McConaughey!

-they read what you are doing/reading on the computer over your shoulder.

OMG. My mom and my dad do that all the time. For some reason my mom thinks I'm hiding stuff from her.. Like one time I was talking to a friend, and she walked into the room. I changed the window so I could put a song on, so then she asks me why I was hiding the convo. I didn't even hear her enter the room. *sighs*

- When they fall asleep during CSI and then wake up when it's done and ask what happened.
- When they tell you what order to eat your food. My mom always wants me to eat my salad first. I'm going to eat it no matter what so I'd rather eat the warm stuff first!

Yeah! My mum always does so. It's so annoying! The problem is the PC is in theliving room and behind me is the couch and she mostly lies there and watches TV and I always feel that she's trying to find out what I'm doing here.Gladly she can't read the texts... well..most of the time. But when I'm talking to someone via msn she sometimes reads what we're talking about though she's 3 feet away and and has problems to read small textes. I never brwose my photoalbums to drool at when she's behind me. She'd know it, obviously, and thinks I'm totally crazy now.

- when she's brwosing through some catalogs and always tell you what clothes would fit me. Damn... if I want some new clothers I (!) look for them.
- when you try to watch CSI (or something else) and your mum (who doesn't like CSI or anything you like) just start talking and brabbling and just don't stop until you leave the room and watches CSI in your own room (I mostly watch TV in the living room cause the TV is much larger than my TV)
- when your mum watches tearjerkers and sentimal films with regional background, then falls asleep and yells at you when you try to change the channel ^^
- when my mum is watching carnival shows on TV with the maximum of loudness and sings along
- when my mum gets totally hectically and bosses you around though there's nothing to get hectic ^^
- when my mum turns on the heatings, cause of the cold room though it's already 30°C in the room

Well... you see it's more my mum that's the more annoying parent. My dad's great! He's 'easy to clean'.
