That okay ;)

Where'd you get 'em, girl? I feel like I want to get SmackDown! clips.

^ Lita looks like she has brown hair in the first pic. She looks pretty. :D.

Ladies and Gents, Summer Slam, IMHO, was an upset.

26.jpg

Batista won by DQ because Finlay felt the need to interfere. IMHO, Booker's title reign will end at No Mercy.

07-1.jpg

Chavo beat Rey too.

37-1.jpg

At least DX beat McMahons.

Or at Surivor Series.

If anyone's curious about Cena's album:

You Can't See Me-Album Review

IMHO, that album was great and I can't get enough of it!

Yeah, it's also an upset that neither of the world titles changed hands. That's why I think WWE's starting to suck.

(Shakes her head) Or maybe I haven't watched any decent WWE show in a while. Damn.

Anyway, Summer Slam results:
Chavo Guerrero def. Rey Mysterio
ECW World Champion Big Show def. Sabu
Hulk Hogan def. Randy Orton
Ric Flair def. Mick Foley ("I Quit" Match)
Batista def. World Heavyweight Champion King Booker (DQ)
D-Generation X def. The McMahons
WWE Champion Edge def. John Cena

I don't watch wrestling too often anymore, well I dont get the channel for Monday night and it's up against csi Miami so it wouldn't be on my tv then anyways. But my son loves wwe, he even has his own backyard trampoline matches. Anyways we have been watching the one that's on later in the week and I love the big bald dude in a dress. I don't know who he is but he's great, a lil sick and twiztid but really interesting to watch. I've never seen so much blurrin of the tv ever.. and sometimes it doesn't help. NIce package too......

Aww, ain't that sweet? Parent and Child watching wrestling together? Nah, I don't get that with my 'rents...

After finding out some of Summer Slam's results, I was glad that our city mall wasn't part of the special screening... my money wouldn't be worth it. The only match I was glad about was DX beating the McMahons. How their storyline would pursue, only God and bookers know how...

I also liked that Mick Foley, yes, Mick Foley, said the words "I Quit". Come on, fellas! An 'I Quit' match is as good as a Hardcore match-- Foley's specialty.

Okay, is it because Ric Flair was a fan favorite? Is that why?

The WWE show later on the weeks is called SmackDown! , my fave bet. the 2, btw, and that bald guy's Vito. I like, even if twisted how he does things, but it works! Even if JBL (ring side commentator) says so that it's sick, it still works!

Found The Marine's official poster:

themarine_poster.jpg

Speaking of Cena, I highly doubt he'll win the title back. IMHO, though, I'm starting to get bored of the Edge/Cena storyline. Same with the Chavo/Rey storyline... okay it's because Chavo beat Rey at Summer Slam (I'd like to pick up on what gream reaper is saying about the PPV event).

When I saw the results from wwe.com, I thought to my self: Wala namang kwenta. In English: It was nonesense. No World Title changed hands. Batista did win against Booker for the WHC, but only won by DQ. UPSET! Edge won fair and square, right? He pinned Cena.

Okay, so the PPVs we ought to look forward to: Unforgiven, No Mercy, Cyber Sunday (formerly Taboo Tuesday), Survivor Series and [/b]Armageddon[/b]. This year, I'm voting on Cyber Sunday.

One thing I'm thinking: Who will be World Champ by Survivor Series

I reckon Cena's bound to win the title back. It's got to the point where I don't care because I've had enough of Cena/Edge. The only reason I reckon Cena's getting the strap back is because I'm predicting Cena vs. Orton @ WM. Hopefully he won't, I like Edge as the champ because it's a breath of fresh air.

About the Chavo/Rey storyline/match, I heard that the crowd crapped all over that match, even as far as booing Vickie Guerrero when she made her appearance during the match. Maybe that is the crowd sending the message to try to stop using Eddie's unfortunate death to build a storyline.

I've pretty much stopped watching most of WWE television. During the summer, Treasure Hunters was on Monday at 9pm, and RAW was really boring, so I never really bothered tuning into RAW. I'm usually out Friday nights, so I haven't seen SmackDown in ages (didn't really watch it when it was on Thursdays either, as the Survivor/CSI block took my Thursdays). The only one I really watch right now is ECWWE, which pretty much had only one really good show, and that was because it was a hot crowd that night. The way the WWE is looking right now, I don't think I will go back to watching, except if the MSG network is showing Classic WWF.

Oh, and if you are sick of the title picture right now, remember, it could be worse. They could bring back Chris F. Masters and put him in the title hunt (if they ever made Chris F. Masters champion, I would stop watching wrestling forever)

I just have to say this: WELCOME BACK JEFF HARDY!

God, I missed seeing him on TV. I'm glad that Jeff's on RAW. He hasn't changed a bit except that he doesn't seem to be wearing a lot of body paint as he did last time. I'm glad that he used the old Hardy Boyz theme song and not Monster Magnet's "Live For The Moment". Don't get me wrong, I love that song but there's just something about the Hardy Boyz' old theme song, you know?

Anyway, I loved Jeff's match against Edge. I wished that it would go on longer but Cena came and interrupted the match, throwing Edge into the river (I think it was a river, not so sure).

Geez, if WWE's finding ways to keep the Eddie Guerrero name alive, please, not in a crappy way like this! ie, the Rey/Chavo storyline.

Chris Masters made to champ? BS...

Come on, WWE fans need to have a more ECW 'tude in 'em. I know I'm getting that 'tude...

^ Ooh, then I am gonna watch RAW tonight.

Er, speaking of The Marine:

Dang, Cena could do good in Hollywood.

Nice to see you back, Doreen. ;)

Er, here's a little something:
3219884.jpg

Yep! While he's always rocking the world as the lead singer of Fozzy, Chris Jericho will have a chance to prove that he truly is the "Ayatollah of Rock n' Rolla" when he takes to the stage as part of FOX's new show Celebrity Duets

A lil' Y2J news for you.

I've also got Kurt Angle news too:
Six-time World Champion Kurt Angle has been granted an early release from his contract due to personal issues.

The Rock's got a new movie. Just saw an interview with him for E!. Er, the movie's title Gridron Ring. He plays a football coach. It's one of thsoe inspiring movies made through sports underdogs and all that jazz. (Sigh) I can bet it wouldn't make an impact at the box office.

Hmm... miss The Rock in the ring? The wrestling ring? ;)

Celebrity Duets? Hmm, I've heard of that. ;)

Aw, and Kurt going? Too bad.

Um, anyway. Ooh! I'd like to feature Chris Benoit!

With Dean Molenko:

And a random fact:
On June 9, 2005, Benoit returned to SmackDown! after being the first man selected by the Smackdown side in the 2005 WWE Draft Lottery, and participated in an ECW-style revolution against the SmackDown! heels. Benoit appeared at ECW One Night Stand, defeating Eddie Guerrero, and at the end of the night he delivered a flying headbutt to his former WCW boss and former RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff. On July 24, 2005 at The Great American Bash in Buffalo, New York, Benoit failed to win the WWE United States Championship from Orlando Jordan, but he faced him in a rematch at SummerSlam 2005. Benoit defeated Jordan in 25 seconds with the Crippler Crossface to win the title. On the next two editions of SmackDown!, Benoit defeated Jordan by submission in 23.4 seconds and 22.5 seconds. Two weeks later, Benoit defeated Jordan by submission in 49.8 seconds. Benoit then started wrestling Booker T in some friendly competitions, but it was all a ploy, as Booker and his wife, Sharmell, cheated Benoit out of the US title on an episode of Smackdown!.

^ Personal Note: I remember that storyline. It ended at No Way Out 2006, wherein GM Teddy Long made Booker have that match and defend his title, which, BTW, Randy Orton won for him at the best of 7 series, Booker made to recover from a groin "injury". So, anyway, Benoit still won anyway. Then I remeber him getting in a storyline with JBL.

You could visit his IMDB Bio as well.

BTW, tanglewood14 , nice banner. Just don't let Randy Orton see that. :D

Nah, too many families and young children at RAW and SmackDown tapings. Don't get me wrong, I love the crowd reactions and chants at ECW shows (my particular favorite out of the clean ones is "Where's My Pizza?", directed at the Full Blooded Italians), plus the fact that they can come up with these chants on the fly (who has ever heard a "Change The Channel" chant?) but I can just imagine a young child asking his mother "Mommy, what's herpes?" (one of the chants directed at the female heels is "She's Got Herpes!") I read this one story recently where there was an ECW house show and a SmackDown house show in the same city, but in different arenas. The safe thing to do if you have children is take them to the SmackDown show, as it would be a lot of families, and a lot of the family-friendly wrestlers are there, as opposed to ECW, which is more of a smark-fest who lets people know what they like and don't like. Needless to say she was horrified to hear the chants she heard.

Yeah, I heard about Angle getting released, although there is a conflicting report by Dave Meltzer of wrestlingobserver that he got fired. Either way, that really sucks, but I hope for the best for Angle, as he has been one of my favorites in the past few years. Honestly, I still remember him winning his Olympic Gold medal in Atlanta in 1996, just months after the grisly death of his teacher and mentor at the hands of his sponsor.

ETA: OH DEAR GOD! It's gotten worse. Apparently at SmackDown, Vickie Guerrero brought out both Rey and Chavo to apologize to them, but in the middle of it Chavo attacked Rey and was about to hit him with a steel chair, but Vickie intervened, only to pick up the chair herself and hit Rey with it. Apparently the bookers haven't learned their lesson, they are throwing fuel on the fire. I think that this angle is now the front-runner for the wrestlecrap.com Gooker Award.

As with Chris F. Masters, I saw a picture of him recently, and there is no doubt that comparing a picture pre-suspension and post-suspension, he was on the juice.

 We all have things interfering our desires. ;)

(mutters) Something WWE needs...

Oh, please! Who needs him back?

Speaking of Benoit, is he coming back anytime soon? Because he's been listed to show up for the SURVIVOR SERIES TOUR here in RP and well, they did mention the list is prone to change without prior notice.

That's why Crippler Crossface is my fave submission move. Out of many....

 Us TalkCSI WWE fans/viewers know what's fact and fiction and I'm damn proud of that. We're f'n SMARKS!!! And that's why this WWE thread @ TalkCSI is a breath of fresh air from my friends. I think I'm the smarkest person in school. Ookay, a little vain for me to say. ;)

What's been up in RAW?

:D I miss Benoit too! That's why I featured him!!!

Let's turn this place in to a smark fest then!!!

Okay, I want to feature Kurt Angle. Now, I wonder what the real reasons are for his release...

I love that Kurt Angle intensity.

Er, Kurt, could I have your shirt instead? :p

I missed seeing Kurt on TV ever since he went to ECW. Because, you see, no network shows ECW here. I gladly would've liked to watch Kurt kick off his ECW career, but like I said...

Anyway, too bad about Kurt having a release, even if it was out of his initiative.
