Where you from?

:D I'm from Armstrong, IA, and I think it has to be one of the smallest towns on the planet.

I'm from Skipton, North Yorkshire in England...has anyone been there....let alone heard of it...there is one zebra crossing and a million sheep, oh and me! *waves*

anybody else live in belgium??? and can feel my pain as i watch csi in FRENCH, you should hear their voices in french ugh...
 
You have any idea how HAPPY I am that we are subtitle country? :D But then again... it would be really strange to see them talking Finnish because our words are so long that they'd be still talking even their mouths are not moving.
 
Wouldn't it be tough reading something that they had said ages ago cos your language is long. :p Or do they manage to squash all of the dialogue that's being said on the screen at the right time? :p If you don't get what I mean, doesn't matter.

hah. you guys, yeah, but i live in a town in central minnesota with a population of 500. I don't exactly think of it as a cool place, and i cannot wait to leave for college! of course i'll probably be crying like a baby from homesickness my first week of school, because i'm like that...
But yeah, eagle bend, mn, an excellent tourist location! :lol:check it out sometime!

Often stuff is left off, only words that are important are translated. Or like... for example.. Law & Order. In trial when jury is back and they are saying is the person guilty or not... line that tells it always comes before you heard "we find the defender, not guilty" :lol: :lol: So you know the answer about 3-4 secs earlier :p

*laughs* I can so relate the town I live in isnt THAT small but its HICK compared to other parts of the US
my problem is I can move away (I'm old enough) I just cant afford to *sighs* so I"m stuck here
 
^My town almost has a population of 3000. My village has some 100. :D I swear I live behind God's back. Everyone just moves out from here.
