Where Did You Get Your Username?

I got my name simply because I always find the silver in gray clouds, and I'm always, or pretty close to always, happy.

And I'm happy that I'm happy. Hence, happilyhappy. I tend to use Smiley, or my real name in forums and such.

*bumps*

I find this topic rather interesting and thought it shouldn't be forgotten. Since there have been name changes and new people around I decided to dig it up again...

I thought I had posted here previously, but I guess not.
KayLyne is a variation of the name that I've used on the air (radio) at my job for about 20 years: K-Lyne. I just spelled out the "K". 'K' is the first letter of my first name. 'Lyne' is my middle name.

Shady just come to mind thinking of something CSI related, I am quite a private person and not alot of people can say they really know me, so I guess I am a little shady!!!!

Adorelo came from my mom.

She used to say it to me and my sisters before bed :)

It's sort of slang; it means 'my love' or 'my child' ... well, sort of. :p

Hmm...pretty_in_pink...where could that have come from?
Okay, I got it from the movie with Molly Ringwald, the queen of 80's movies.
I love Duckie! <333 :)

^Haha, awesome movie.

I got mine from my mom's maiden name, which is Liberty. I was telling her how my first name would flow well with it, and she was like, "But you don't want that name! Everywhere you'd go, people would be like, 'as in the Liberty Bell?!'". Hence my name.

I once had a stuffed puppet kangaroo that I named Mimic. She, unfortunately, was kidnapped by an Evil Laundry Lady at a hotel in Virginia and thus is with me no more, but she lives on in my username. It's not capitalized because I'm lazy - I have nothing against capitalizing proper nouns.

New Orleans (NOLA) will always be my home and heart no matter where in the world I am. Grrl is a take on girl because my friend Kim is known as nolagirl several places and she is the older/wiser/girlier version of me. Pretty self explanatory really, but some people do wonder.

Mine should be obvious. I ship Mac and Stella and express so by combining their family names. :D

Cool thread by the way... I really liked to read about the findings of your screen names. :)

I'm named after one of my cats, Yoshimitsu, who in turn is named after my favourite character in Tekken, a game I was totally addicted to many years ago. :D

I always thought it was because of that lovely green dino in Super Mario (and other similar games :p )
