I'm reading the Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley... it is actually quite good if you are into the whole Artherian legend like me...it is taken from a woman's perspective....I also love Jane Austin, the language is so much more sophisticated!... I really want to get some CSI books... sadly I have not had the opportunity to read one *sniff sob why me :( * ....but I love books and have so many favorites

I've read The Mists of Avalon. A nice twist on the standard patriarchal view of the myth of King Arthur. A very compelling story. And I agree, Jane Austen's language is from another, more civil era. I like to smile at the end of jokes and say, "That was quite diverting" whenever possible! :)

As for Neil Gaiman, Neverwhere and American Gods were both very cool books. I want to read some more of his stuff. It's like he writes from another plain of existence that's pretty close to ours... but not quite. ;) Very talented guy. :)

Ohhh Mists of Avalon is my favourite book ever! I find it so fantastic that one can read it from Morgaine's perspective now. She's always rendered as evil in all King Arthur's books.. I so love it. I've read the other books as well, but were not near as great as MoA :D And yes, one got to love Jane Austen.. have read all her novels too.

I'm reading 'James Connolly Selected Writings' by P. Berresford Ellis now, for my MA thesis.

I'm going to start on a book called "Devil's Knot". It's a true story about the West Memphis Three, www.wm3.org.

Then when finished I'll read "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides
