Right now I've started on CSI: Cold Burn....Hopefully I'll get some time to read on it more...very good so far.

Oh yes that is a really good book. I'm reading Sin City-csi book- and i just finished Florida Getaway-miami book- for the 4th time  I love that book. EVERYONE IS ALIVE AND KICKING.

I'm trying to read three different books for my Children's Literature class next Monday. (Since today's Thanksgiving and there's no school!)

*Anne of Green Gables (should have already finished, we started analysis last week! Ooops!)
*The Secret Garden
*Alice in Wonderland

Ooohh, have you seen the films they've done (I think they're a bit old now) of Anne of Green Gables? I've watched them all and they're great! :D I think it's Megan Fellows or something like that who plays Anne.

Is the book any good? I've never read it.

I think I've seen all the movies.

Problem is that there are so many differences between the books and the movies that on the exams its blatantly apparent who only watched the movies over who actually read the books.

So I'm basically not allowed to cheat. Unless I want to do poorly on my exams.

So ... if you're supposed to read a book for a project and decide to watch the movie instead, be prepared for the major differences.

(For instance, in the Wizard of Oz ... the movie has ruby slippers BUT the book actually has silver or another coloured ones. Go figure.)

Don't worry, I would never encourage anyone to cheat in exams :p

I'm now reading The Eagles's Conquest by Simon Scarrow - the second in the series about the adventures of two Roman legionaries. It's fab so far! :D

i'm about to start 'pride and prejudice' because we have to read it for english

Oh you *must* watch the 1996 BBC Series :D

I'm currently re-reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I hope I get past page 100...

I just finished Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and Feet of Clay by Terry Pratchett.

Just started reading the first few pages of Tick Tock by Dean Koontz.

Re-reading HP the sixth one. I got that in the midnight rush and finished it at 7am. :) I got one heck of a neck-ache though!

im reading a few books atm.

just finished re-reading HP6
and halfway through fight club and haunted, both by chuck palahniuk

(yes fight club as in the book the movie is based on)

Current list:

1. "The Torment of Others" by Val McDermid (The BBC tv series "Wire in the Blood" is based upon characters in this book series). Scary but brilliant.

2. "Restoring Grace" by Katie Fforde.

3. "Acquired Tastes" by Peter Mayle.

Hey, I'm almost 29 and I love Harry Potter too!

At the moment, I've just started 'Likely to Die' by Linda Fairstein - it's the second in her Alex Cooper series. I just finished the first book, 'Final Jeopardy' last night and immediately started into this one - i'm trying to read them in order now - I've already read the middle three books totally out of order, so i'm trying to be good now :) If you enjoy reading crime novels, you'll love these books!

I really love those books. I've read the whole series. Wait until you get to The Kills, its like the best in the whole series.
