sometimes a pictures is worth a thousands words. And I think that picture says it all.
And I think Cath was probably 'fed up' with men after the Chris incedent. Maybe Vartann had to do some 'talking' to get her to go out with him or they just both 'clicked'?
Either way, they are a hot hot couple... now if we could just get him back...

I was thinking about this too.. .
what if things were different between them at the end of Weeping Willows? What if they were a couple then? Or 'interested' in each other. Yes, she was making out with Adam, but maybe Catherine felt that Tony didn't like her. (Hard to imagine, but let's just go with it)
Do you think Weeping Willows would have been any different?

Hm, tough one. If Vartann and Cath had been involved before Weeping Willows, than had a little spat...I think Cath and Adam would've made a bit more sense. Although, I find it hard to imagine Catherine going to a bar, pissed off at the world, then making out with random guy to spite Vartann. I don't think that's her style.
Still, that's about as close to plausible as I can get.

I was just thinking about that since I watched the episode the other day.
you are right edog that I don't think that's her style to go to a bar expressly to pick up men. Or at least that is not what she wanted to do in Weeping Willows
If Cath and Tony were a couple I don't think she would have gone at all... why would she?

I still like the 'secret affair' thing especially all the stuff surrounding Grissom and Sara. I'm sure Cath would prefer to keep her love life out of the spotlight, and if he is gone(no longer on the show) then it's not such a problem.
