I'm still seeing handcuffs.. maybe that's me. I can see wanting HIM to wear the costume more than she would but I still think that she could so 'something' for him too :devil:

I've been on this 'domination' kick lately... since Lady Heather...now here is a question..

-we know Vartann likes women
-we know he likes Catherine... ;)

do you think she would take him to a place like Lady Heather's?
Would he let Cath 'dominate him'?

Something about Vartann seems repressed to me and cops need an outlet... again JMO

Repressed in the sense that we don't see enough of him!

While I totally get your domination kick as of late, I'll kindly disagree. Vartann seems very straightlaced on the outside (not to say there isn't something more freaky deaky on the inside), but some of his comments over the years may lead one to believe he's all about the simplicity of things. His comment on Viagra in Viva Las Vegas may have been a joke, but I could also read that as some kind of disapproval with the drug as well. I had one other example, but I just drew a blank, darn it. Anyway

I think anything that enhances the body or the experience of an intimate relationship just isn't his cup o' tea. *shrugs*

Ok, you are probably right. But I thought I would throw it out there..

What I can see is Cath possibly dancing for him. That would probably 'do it' for him.

Cops see a lot of $%^* and I think it's hard to come up with feelings for what you see. Not like Cath doesn't see the same *&^* but maybe it's their way of 'letting it go.'

Ok, enough of Vartann in the DOM...:eek:

So, what else would they do then to unwind?

I can see them reading together. Do you think he'd like murder mysteries since he is a cop? Would Cath?

Mystery novels. I could see that. Or spy novels. Secret agent stuff might be up their alley as well. I just wonder if they wanna read about detective drama in books when they experience enough of that in their own lives!

Still, reading is a nice passtime.

I love Viva Las Vegas for OBVIOUS reasons :)

As for reading,well maybe murder/mystery novels,but your right edog, maybe being a detective/csi would turn them away from the genre.

I can see Cath reading Cosmo or something :) Vartann a sport magazine such as Sports Illistrated or ESPN.
So it's the two of them comfy on their couch :lol:

I suppose I could open up to the idea of her with Vartann but Nicky will always be my first choice for her. :D

Oh yeah, if Brass knows about Sara/Gris (maybe?), then with Vartann working in his department, he probably knows about Cath/Vartann too! Maybe? Possibly? Either way, I didn't give Brass enough credit in the gossip department. :lol:

Yeah, who knew Brass was into the Lab gossip. And if Gris and Sara is juicy, I wonder what he would think of Cath and the Dectective??

Since I am in a 'very romantic' mood ....

I said this before, I don't think Catherine really likes 'overly' romantic guys or guys that 'try to hard'
Vartann [to me] is not one of those type of guys

I see him being somewhat tongue tied when it comes to expressing himself but can show it other ways...

like ..

her favorite restaurant
movie
perfume

how she likes her coffee

that kind of stuff

subtle romance? I can dig it. I think it all ties into his personality as well. Vartann is very cool and collected. To see him fawn over Cath might seem out of character. Still, I see Cath as liking the attention and if he remembers how she likes her coffee, she'll definitely appreciate his attention to detail.

I can see that too. He's not overly romantic or would fawn all over her. I don't see Cath putting up with much of that

I think he is more subtle than that

But he would know how she takes her coffee
[because I'm sure he's spend the night once or twice] :D
