I'm confused--the second set of data doesn't match the first. PP only got in the 8 mil range on Wednesday, and Life didn't air. The first set of data is the one I've seen, and it's awesome! NY actually went up the night before Thanksgiving! That's really impressive. Believe it or not, it probably tied CSI's ratings on Thanksgiving, because CSI pulled in viewers somewhere in the 14 million range.
So, I haven't seen the episode yet, but here's how it done: Read more here Weekly Viewing Trends 401 - 12.72 M -- 3.7 402 - 12.69 M -- 3.9 403 - 13.43 M -- 4.1 404 - 13.99 M -- 4.1 405 - 13.82 M -- 3.9 406 - 13.40 M -- 3.6 407 - 12.92 M -- 3.6 408 - 13.13 M -- 3.8 409 - 14.56 M -- 3.7
Well, it's gone from the high 12 mils to the 14 mils since the premiere, so that's good. Obviously the show was doing better this time last season--but that's true of all shows. Everything is down from last season.
I am thinking we should be looking at the relative position compared to other shows from year to year. Also, 10 pm shows have had more of a ratings hit than any others. I am betting the ratings drop from criminal minds to csi ny isn't as large as the recorded ratings are showing. Who records a show at 10 pm, and watches it the same day?
Yes, they do! I forgot how 410 did--I think it was in the 14 mil range as well--but it seems like the show has been doing much better in the last few weeks. It's really climbed since the premiere, which was in the high 12 mil range!
And if I'm not mistaken, I think this past week's NY rerun even beat out the Vegas one, which is unusual. Glad to see NY hanging in there!
