Chapter 10

The next month Natalia came back.

"Did you get the job?" Eric asked as they sat down for dinner.

"I don't know yet. They said they would call and let me know within a week after I got back."

"Oh ok."

"Did you have a good time while I was gone?" Natalia said pulling out a bra from their bed.

"I sware I don't know how that got in there."

"Yea I'm sure you do Eric." Natalia said flying down the stairs and out the door.

"Nat, Nat wait." Eric said following her. He finally caught up to her and grabbed her arm.

"Let go of me." Natalia said as she turned around.

"Nat. Please just listen to me."

"And what Eric? You think I'm just gonna take you back like that? I already did that one time and look where it landed me again!"

"It didn't land you anywhere. I don't have a clue how that got in there."

"Eric. Please, just stop." Natalia said closing her eyes and puting a hand up in front of her.

"Well where are you going?"

"My moms."

The next day Natalia was laying in bed when a sudden urge of having to throw up hit her. She threw her covers off of her and ran to the bathroom. Her mom knocked on the door.

"Natalia baby..."

"Yea?"

"Is everything ok?"

"I think I just ate something that didn't agree with my stomach. I'm fine." Natalia said as she gagged one more time.

"Nat, I think you need to go to the doctor." Her mom said as she opened the bathroom door.

An hour later her and her mom headed to the doctor. Natalia was laying on the bed in a hospital gown when the doctor came in.

"Well, Miss. Boa Vista it looks like your about 3 months pregnant." The doctor said reading the files.

"Are you serious?" Her and her mom said at the same time.

"The tests don't lie. I'm gonna do an ultrasound to see what we have."

"Ok."

The doctor hooked everything up and ran the ball over her stomach. They could see the babys figure begin to form. All Natalia and her mom could do was smile. After the test the doctor printed off the ultrasound. After that they headed home.

"Have you told Eric about the baby?" Natalias mom said.

"I just found out myself."

"So you're just now having morning sickness?"

"Yea, well I had been feeling nauseaus, but when I threw up I didn't think anything of it."

"So my baby is gonna have a baby."

"Yea." Natalia said looking at her mom and smiling.

"I think I'm gonna send these pictures to Eric."

"That would be a good idea."

Natalia smiled at the pictures as she looked at them.

The next day she sent Eric the pictures. He got them that day. As he flipped through the mail he saw he had one from Natalias moms address. He immediately opened it. He couldn't believe his eyes. All he saw was pictures of a baby form. He could feel the tears welling up in his eyes. He got goosebumps as he looked at his child. I knew he had to go see Natalia after this. He would wait a few days before doing so just to let her cool off more and let this baby picture set in more.
 
Its getting good, this is where the baby or babies...maybe triplets come...yay! Honestly, I think Natalia shouldn't let Eric off too easily.
 
Chapter 11

A few days later Natalia walked down to the beach at her parents. She sat on the sand and let the wind blow her hair. The smell fill her nose. She ran a hand over her stomach and let out a sigh.

"It feels like we’ve been out at sea

Natalia walked down the beach.

Eric stood at his door looking out his window at the beach.

He ran a hand through his hair and ran to his Hummer and started it up and headed to Natalias mom.

Natalias moms house was locked through the front door so Eric ran around through the side gate and down to the beach. Natalia had started walking back. They both stopped as they saw eachother.

"It’s supposed to be some give and take I know.
Your only taking and not given any more

Eric walked over to Natalia and wrapped one arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him and ran a hand through her hair and then placed it on the back of her neck and pulled her lips onto his.

He gently ran a hand over Natalias stomach. He smiled down at her as she smiled up at him.

"Baby huh?"

"Yea."

"How far along?"

"3 months."

"It's been that long?"

"Yea it has." Natalia said as she let out a chuckle.

"I guess we need to tell the team."

"I guess your right."

That night Natalia went back home with Eric. The next day they told everyone at work about the baby.

"Congrats." Calleigh said as she hugged her best friend.

"Thanks." Natalia said as she hugged her back.

"Eric, man, who knew you had it in you." Ryan said as he shook Erics hand.

"Haha very funny Ryan."

"I'm just saying."

"Yea you better be just saying."

"So I guess it was good." Ryan said as he and Eric looked at Natalia and Calleigh.

"How bout you get a girlfriend and see for yourself."

"I'm working on it."

"Who you trying to get?"

"Well...." Ryan said as he looked at Calleigh.

"You trying to get with Calleigh?"

"Is that bad?"

"No, I'm happy for you." Eric said as he patted his back and started to walk over to Natalia.

"Oh, it was better than what you imagine." Eric said turning around facing him and then turning around to finish walking to Natalia.

"I bet it was." Ryan said as he followed Eric over to the women.

"You look tired."

"I am very tired." Natalia said as she emphasized the very.

"Well how bout we get you home and you rest."

"Ok."

Eric and Natalia said goodbye to everyone and left.

Chapter 12

"Eric!"

"What?" Eric said running into the bathroom.

"How in the heck do you still want me? I look like a freaking watermelon." Natalia said as she turned to her side and looked at herself in the mirror.

"God, I thought something had happened. Are you seriously worrying about that?" Eric said walking over to her.

"Yea."

"Well, even if you looked like whale, I would still want you." Eric said wrapping his arms around her from behind resting his hands on her stomach.

"Eric?"

"Yea?"

"Are you ready?"

"Ready for what?"

"This baby."

"I'm about as ready as you."

"So your nervous too?"

"I'm so nervous." Eric said smiling at her in the mirror.

"Can you believe in 4 months we'll have a baby?" Natalia said placing her hands over Erics.

"I know its hard to believe."

"Yea it is."

"You're coming with me today to find out what we're having right?"

"Yes mam I am. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"Good." Just then they felt the baby move. Natalia smiled at Eric in the mirror. Eric returned the smile.

At the doctors. Eric held Natalias hand as the waited for the doctor to say something.

Well, Miss Boa Vista and Mr. Delko..." The doctor started.

"Ya'll are having a baby girl." The doctor said as she smiled at them.

"I'll leave ya'll alone for a little while." The doctor said as she walked out.

"We're gonna have a little girl." Natalia said smiling at her stomach as her hands were placed on it.

"Great! Just more hormones and mood swings for me!"

"Shut up." Natalia said slapping Eric in the stomach.

"And more slaps!" Eric said as Natalia rolled her eyes.

"You just wait this little girl is gonna have you wrapped around her finger before you know it."

"She already does." Eric said smiling at Natalia.

"And you have my heart wrapped around you." Eric said standing up and kissing her.

"That is probably the sweetest thing you've ever told me." Natalia said smiling at him.

"Ok Miss Boa Vista, your baby will be born on May 20th." The doctor said as she walked back in.

"Ok." Natalia said as Eric helped her stand to her feet.

"As you go into your third trimester please try and not do any hard work."

"Ok. Thank you."

"You're welcome and congratulations."
 
"Great! Just more hormones and mood swings for me!"

"Shut up." Natalia said slapping Eric in the stomach.

"And more slaps!" Eric said as Natalia rolled her eyes.

Chapter 13

4 months later.

"Eric can you give me a back massage?"

"Why?"

"Because I've been carrying your baby for 9 months for one...and two, it's sore."

"Hey, it's half your baby too."

"I know, but I carry it so...please?" Natalia said sticking her bottom lip out.

"Fine."

"Yay!" Natalia said as she walked over to the bed and laid down on her side to let Eric give her a massage.

Eric massaged her back till he and her both fell asleep. The next morning Eric got up quietly and got dressed and headed out to work. Later Natalia got up and got dressed and headed to work.

"Natalia grab your kit. We have a crime to solve." Calleigh called as her and Alexx walked into the DNA room.

Natalia grabbed her kit and headed to the crime scene with Calleigh and Alexx. When they got there, Calleigh and Natalia started taking pictures as Alexx checked the body. Natalia dropped her camera and hit the ground cluching onto her stomach.

"What's wrong Nat?" Calleigh asked running over to her.

"Baby." Natalia said as her breathing got heavy.

"Oh my God, hold on, let me get Alexx." Calleigh said running over to Alexx. By the time Alexx got over to Natalia, Natalia had slowed her breathing down from the contraction. Alexx and Calleigh walked Natalia to the Hummer and helped her up in it.

"Calleigh, call Eric." Alexx said as she sat with Natalia.

"Ok." Calleigh said whipping out her cell phone.

"Delko?"

"Eric!"

"Yea?" Eric said with a confused look on his face.

"Nat..." Calleigh started but got interupted by Natalia screaming from another contraction.

"Calleigh? What's wrong with my Talia?"

"Nat, baby, just breathe, just breathe." Alexx said as she rubbed Natalia hair out of her face.

"She's in labor." Calleigh said after Alexx finished talking.

"Where ya'll at?"

"The corner of 3rd and 5th street."

"Ok I'm headed that way." Eric said as he hung up.

Even though he was 20 minutes from there, he flew making it 10 minutes. Eric ran up to their Hummer. He opened the door and saw Natalia scrunch up in pain again as she felt another contraction.

"Talia, I'm here." Eric said hopping up into the car and holding her hand. Her face was sweating and her hair was soaking wet.

"How long has she been in labor?" Eric asked looking at Alexx.

"I don't know. She said the pains started last night but she didn't think anything about it. She's not fully dilated but she's getting there. I would say she's probably been in labor for about 12 hours. Her contractions are coming faster and harder now."

Natalia squeezed Erics hand as she felt another contraction. She's screamed with all her might.

"I gotta push, I can't wait." Natalia said while trying to slow her breathing down.

"Nat, you're not fully dilated you can't." Alexx said looking at her.

"Well can we turn the air on or something? I'm so hot."

"Yes you are." Eric said rubbing her hand with his thumb.

"Eric!" Calleigh said slapping his arm.

"What she is! I mean she's sweating so she must be hot!"

"Eric, nice try to cover that up."

"Hello? I'm having a baby here."

"Oh, sorry." Calleigh said flipping on the ac to full blast.

"Eric lay the seats down so she can lay down."

Eric hopped to the back and layed the row of seats down. Then as he hopped back to the middle seats he layed those down as well.

"Thank God for big cars." Calleigh said.

Calleigh called Horatio and Alexx went and got blankets.

Update! Glad ya'll liked the last chapter! I actually changed some of it before I uploaded it! Hope ya'll like this chapter as well! :)

Chapter 14

3 hours later.

"My water broke." Natalia said as her breathing picked up.

"I feel pressure Eric."

"Oh my God." Natalia screamed as she grabbed ahold of Erics arm.

Alexx and Calleigh imediately opened the door.

"What happened?"

"Her water broke and she feels pressure."

"Ok now we're making progress." Alexx said.

"I'm gonna check you ok?" Alexx said lifting the blanket that was covering Natalia.

"She's 8 centimeters. She can start pushing." Alexx said as she got the blankets situated.

"You wanna catch your baby Eric when she comes out?"

"Um, sure." Eric said as they all looked at Natalia as her body tensed up for another contraction.

"I gotta push." Natalia said as she started pushing.

"Good job Nat, keep it up." Alexx said after about 5 minutes of pushing.

Natalia felt her body getting weak and her breathing was heavy.

"I can't push anymore." Natalia said resting her head back on the floor of the car.

"Yes you can Nat. You have too."

"Come on baby, push." Eric said grabbing a hold of her hand.

Natalia started pushing again.

"Oh my God, Oh my God." Natalia breathed and threw her head back against the floor of the car as she could feel the head start coming out. She let out a scream that everyone thought the world was bound to hear.

"The head is out." Alexx said as she helped Eric pull the baby out as Natalia pushed.

As Natalia pushed one last time, Eric caught his baby girl in his arms. Natalia slowed her breathing down as she heard her baby cry.

"Shhhhh, it's ok. Mommy's right over there." Eric said as he cradled his baby girl.

Alexx helped Natalia sit up. Eric slid over to Natalia and handed her their baby. The baby stopped crying as soon as she was put in her mothers arms.

"The magic touch." Alexx said as she smiled at Eric and Natalia.

"Can I just say she is possibly the prettiest baby I've ever seen." Calleigh said as she sat with Alexx.

"Yea, I would say ya'll did a good job on her." Alexx said.

"Thanks." Eric said as he smiled up at them letting out a chuckle, blushing.

"What's her name?" Calleigh said as she looked at them.

"Avery." Eric said as he placed his finger into his little girls hand.

"Awwww, how cute."

Eric drove them home an hour later.

"I'm so sore." Natalia said walking up the steps to their house.

"Well then how bout you go lay down and rest and I'll take care of her."

"Wake me if she's hungry." Natalia said as she walked up the stairs.

"Trust me I will." Eric smiling down at his little girl.

"You look so much like your mommy. I guess that means I'm gonna have to scare some boys when you get older." Eric said as Avery smiled up at him.
