They mentioned CSI on.....

Yeah, I'm a die-hard Friends fan, own all 10 seasons. CSI:NY premiered September 2004. Friends Season 1 was in September 1994 (and ended May 2004)... in other words, the ENTIRE Friends series wrapped up before CSI:NY aired... might have been another reference to something similar at the time?
What episode was it in? I'll check it out at some point.
 
They parodied it in a way on Today this morning.

The segment title was "DSI: Date Scene Investigation"
 
TV guide channel has been running a show about forensics and cop shows, such as all the CSI's, L&O, and other shows...it's pretty interesting. It's like the top 25 facts you didn't know or something.
 
Does anyone have links to these shows? I want to see what they said about it on SNL
 
My sister was watching New Adventures of Old Christine and I heard them mention CSI.

"It's like a CSI crime scene in there!"
 
this isnt so much mentioning the tv shows CSI as it is mentioning real life CSI's but on Extreme Home Make overs tonight the team had New Jersey CSIs help them clear out the families home
