Listening to Dido I've realized this song is completely Smacked. It matches both POV's, but maybe because it's sung by a woman, I like to think it's Stella singing it to Mac. Anyway, it fits both of them, especially the line at the end of every verse.

Side effects of listening to Dido's three albums in a row -yes, I can get that obsessive sometimes when it comes to music-, I've got another song by her. I think all of it is completely Smacked, especially the first verse and the refrain, since they describe Mac and Stella's relationship perfectly.

This is a Spanish group, but they sing in English because the singer is half-English. I love the way she purrs this song (you'll probably find a video somewhere in the big, big Internet if you seek it) and how the lyrics define Stella and her feelings for Mac perfectly. The mixture of softness and toughness is so her, and so are the last lines.

Another song that works perfectly for Mac and Stella. I can actually picture Mac singing this to her. The lyrics are so perfect for how he feels about her.

Two songs by Alanis Morissette. I especially like the second one, it's one of my favorite songs. The first one, I think, is Stella's POV and I'm surprised that it has so much in common with Mac's story and way of treating Stella sometimes. The second one can be either's POV, I can't decide who fits better as the singer, because Stella is usually the one to open up to Mac, but Mac also knows he can trust her with anything even if it's a month later.

I heard this song for the first time yesterday and I immediately thought of SMACked! I think of it from Stella's POV, but I think it would work from Mac's as well.
