Anna Nichol Smith's son Daniel passed away yesterday while visiting her in hospital after she gave birth to a baby girl.

I saw about Daniel Smith on Am I Annoying, I wonder what he died from. Twenty is too young for anybody to die, I think.

I want to give condolences to the families of the 9/11 victims. I rememer the day very clearly, which is odd because I was 11 at the time and didn't pay much attention to the news at the time. I also want to give my respect for the passengers and crew of Flight 93 who took back control of the plane to prevent more people from dying.

Former Governor of Texas Ann Richards died yesterday (9/13/06). From what I've read she was a good person and governor.

R&B singer Ben E. King died recently, sorry I don't have an exact date. I love his son Stand By Me, apparently he told his band to continue on with the show that was planned for that night. They were playing a few hours after he died. Good for them for respecting his wishes.

Pat Corley Dies

Actor Pat Corley, who served sage advice along with drinks as Phil the barkeep on "Murphy Brown," has died. He was 76. -- Corley, a native of Dallas, died of congestive heart failure Sept. 11 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to his son, actor-comedian Jerry Corley. The elder Corley had undergone surgery for the placement of coronary stents, his son said Thursday.

Besides Jerry Corley, his survivors include son Kevin, daughters Troy Corley and Christina Pratt and 12 grandchildren. Iris Corley died a year ago and a daughter, Michelle, died about 10 years ago at age 29.

I made a mistake in my last post. Ben E King is still alive, I was told the wrong name. It was Bennie Smith who died.

I know it's late posting this but I just found out. A memorial service for Steve Erwin (Croc Hunter) will air live on Animal planet at 9pm eastern (15 mins from now)and will be reshown at 12 midnight. (Tues 19th)

aw i dont get animal planet at school! i wouldve liked to see that, even though i havent been able to watch an episode of the crocodile hunter since it happened. although im sure it will be on again and maybe i can get my parents to tape it for me. you may be gone steve, but you are far from forgotten.

Indeed she adored her father- so sad--I just lost mine too- - and also Patricia Kennedy of the Kennedy clan died- Peter Lawford's wife- and JFK and Bobby's sister Caroline's aunt-their obituaries wew side by side today- RIP
