The photos of the day!

Showtime
+ The colors are amazing. I love green.
- The foreground is kinda blurry and it draws my attention away from the trees.

Showtime
+ Beautiful picture, nice composition, I really like the "dream like" quality that the photo has, I almost expect to see one of the knights of the round table come galloping out of the woods, well done
- Because the sky is white, perhaps cutting it off closer to the top of the trees it would not detract from the picture so much. The sky is not the focal point of this photo, jut cut it off.

Mine for today, I was going to put up one of the tulip pictures that I took on Friday but...Something wonderful happened today, my little niece was born. Her name is Talia (sounds like Tol-ia) Grace. She is doing wonderful and her mom is fine. Here she is

+ It's very hard to not like a photo of a very cute baby! Congrats on your new neice. :)
- The only thing that bothered me is the angle her face is at. It makes her face look distorted.

+ Good composition, I like the simplicity of the piano keys. Nice balance.
- When viewed large it looks blurry, it may be only pixilated, I may have come upon why everyone says your pictures look blurry, try uploading your photos at a higher resolution (make sure it is at least 100 pixals per inch) see if that helps. When I looked at it again I thought it was not so much blurry but pixilated.

Mine for today.

Thanks Amy, I'll have to see if there are options to change it.

+ I really like the coloring and how the flower pops from the background.
- The background as some fuzziness to it.

Wolfsgamergirl
+ Interesting picture, nice concept, clear without fuzziness. Nice job
- Not exactly a bad, but what would it look like if you cropped it more closely?

mine for today.

+ I like how the colors pop, helps draw the eye in.
- The left side of the flower bunch is blurry. I don't know if this was intended or not, but it detracts from the overall composition.

Random photo from around the house.

+ Interesting, I like the large droplet on the left hand corner, the reflection makes it very interesting.
- The rest of the droplets are all around the edge making the eye try to move around looking for a focal place. Good idea though.

Mine for today. I took this at the Tulip Festival this year.

+ I love how the colours stand out against the dull background.
- The crop is a little too severe I think. Pulling back just slightly to give it some breathing room would have been nice.

Anyway, I just got back from visiting a ghost town and it was simply amazing. If anyone is on LJ, friend me to have a look at the photos (link's in my profile) :)

Here's something I just loved:

Gaelen
+ I like the different things going on in the different doorways. Really helps draw the eye back into the photo.
- The dark foundation takes away from the bright colors. Perhaps try cropping that out next time.

Here's mine for today, a random photo from a coffee shop.

+ Interesting picture, I like the Mirroring in the background by the foreground.
- The foreground is a bit underexposed.

Mine for today

Sorry about the previous post, I messed up and I can't figure out how to delete the post. Any suggestions?

+ The bits of blue from the other flowers works very well with the coloring of the Tulips.
- Towards the back the Tulips get fuzzy and not as crisp at the ones towards the front.

Random photo request from my cousin.

+ Interesting photo, taking the viewer for a closer look at something we see every day but never really look at. I like you were able to 'capture' the heart of the carrots.
- Watch your focus.

Mine for today. It has been snowing so much lately that when I went out to take pictures of the tulips not even half of them were open :(, so I only have a few. Here is one of them.
