wow. LMAO Tonights episode...wow. I found it hilarious. I loved how Tony kept bringing up the picture...and the end. :lol: :lol: :lol: No new episode next week though. :(

I just started watching this show couple months back.
Enjoy it very much. :D Abby by far is my fave! It is now a part of my tv schedule. :D

I'm glad Kate got back at Tony ha ha ha :lol: :lol:

Haha I loved the eppy last night! Kate and Tony were so funny with their pictures...and then they sent them to Gibbs, how funny was that! :lol: Kate and Tony's relationship is so great! They crack me up.

Did Tony get the haircut in this ep or has he had it for a while? Anyway I only noticed it last night and loved it, it looks hot. The acting he did about going to delete the picture was actually pretty lame, surprised that Kate bought it. heh heh.

Loved Abby when she talks to the figurine, she's so cute :lol:

yup..totally would have been better if Kate had either not bought the picture deletion acting thing or had acted along with him. Loved Gibbs' face at the end! :) too funny. it was a good episode! Loved McGee's interview w/ whatsherwhosit who was on CSI as Tammy Felton/Melissa Marlow in "Face Lift" and "And Then There Were None". the back and forth was great! so bummed that there isn't a new episode next week!

That was funny. I like the show, but I'm tired of all the Tony Kate flirting/fighting. It's not written well, but then again I'm not a big Tony fan. Abby & Ducky rock!

Not to say that I know everything about scriptwriting (far from it), but as a film and tv student finishing my BA, I've taken a lot of film writing classes, and being analytical about everything I watch comes with the career choice, I guess. Yes, the Ducky/Abby/Gibbs writing is clever, and I love it, but IMO the Tony/Kate writing is just as clever and well written. NCIS has some of the best scriptwriting I've seen on television, which is, when you get down to it, why I enjoy the show so much. I think the Tony/Kate exchanges are written very well, and it shows both the skill of the writers and of the actors that, in some scenes, some of the material gets across to the audience without need for dialogue.

Characters interact with their environment and other characters, and the dialogue must define something about the character or the situation. The dialogue that stems from these encounters has to be exaggerated and heightened, because honestly, real dialogue would get dull after a while. So writers have to create an interaction of characters that bridges imagination and reality. This heightening of situation is perhaps a little more intense on NCIS, so I can see how some might call the interactions overdramatic. But, the writing of the dialogue and the characters are weighed on heavily in pushing the concept of the particular plot through in a dramatic situation, and both have thus far been very well written, well placed, relevant to the scene, and quite frankly, funny.

Now, whether or not you enjoy the type of humor in the scene is completely subjective to each and every individual person.

Excellent synopsis Chrissy! I think the scenes/dialogue seem well written. Sometimes Tony does get to be too much, but his comments are right on (with his character) and whether he is with Abby/McGee/Gibbs/Kate everyone interacts well together.

ooo, what happened with what picture now? i'm kinda out of the loop caus i live in australia and i cant find any quotes or screencaps... what did they do with the pictures? and did tony tease kate about the wet t-shirt competition thing?

He threatened her with it all the time...he emailed it to her at first, then had it on his handheld whatever-it-was, and everytime Kate tried to dissagree with him he would show it to her. It was hilarious, because then she would just suddenly agree. Kate then had Abby edit a picture and put Tony in it, and at the end, they emailed the pictures to each other, then agreed to delete them...but they both sent the pictures to Gibbs...when they realized he got them they both practically ran out...last scene was Gibbs smiling at the computer. It was great :p :lol:
he also made some comment about how it felt when they poured cold water on her.
