The Longset Month of Sarah Sidle Life

Part Thirty-Two
Gil walk into the DNA lab at twelve Am on Wednesday morning. He look around for Greg, but can not find him, he then see that Sarah is run the DNA result for Butterfeld academy.

Gil: Sarah where Greg at?
Sarah: I take him home around six pm last night, he was in no shape to be here. He keep have to stop work to throw up in the trash can, and he was get really weak. Before I left his house to come back to the lab I check his temperature and it was 104.001.
Gil: you did the right thing. I’ll take over for you go home and get some sleep and do not come back into till your next shift.
Sarah: Ok, I am really tire.

Sarah goes to the locker room and grab her purse and car keys then head home and goes to bed. Sarah end up take Catherine into the ER doing the middle of Wednesday night shift, because she get really sick at work. Gil come home on Thursday morning and join Sarah in they bedroom. He change into his PJ and lay down next to Sarah.

Gil: how was Catherine when you left her?
Sarah: ok, she was happy that Lindsey was going to come in a visit here after school get out at 2:30Pm today. She will probably not be release for the hospital till Sunday, and then the doctor not going let her come back to work till Tuesday night at the early. The doctor tell us that this Stomach flu Viruses that go around is really strong, if you had a flu shoot and catch it you get over in a few days, but if you do not get a flu shoot it take twice as long to get over and you become really sick .
Gil: I wish I did not make Catherine come into work last night.
Sarah: she not mad at you Gil. Let get some sleep, we going to have a long night at work. It just the two of us tonight.
Gil: yes it will see that Greg, Nick and Warrick are under doctor care to and they doctor are not alone them to come back to work yet. On a good Note Wendy will be back at work tonight.
That get to the lab for work that night hope it would be a slow night, Gil goes to his office and pick the assignments up then meet Sarah back in the Break room and See Sofia sit next to Sarah talk to her..
Gil: No luck on it been a slow night. Sarah , Sofia you on 425 suspicious Situation/ 419 dead body, Jim Brass think it a Homicide.
Sarah: where is it at Gil?
Gil: inside where the Animal live behind the glass section of the Arctica house at the Las Vegas Zoo. I will be on another 425 Suspicious Situation/ 419 Dead Body at the Rampark. Sarah and Sofia I would take a coat it cold inside the area the body are, see it behind the glass and the zoo has to keep at the freeze cold in the Animal area, he can't make it hotter even for us.
Sarah: my coat does not fit.
Gil: here my, we need to get you a bigger coat.

Sarah and Sofia get to the Arctica house and Jim Brass show the in to the area where the polar bears live. They look around the area and see that the ten bodies was kill here by not by the bear, so it hard to be after the put them in the sleep area for the night. The zoo the thing that close at night in Las Vegas.

Sofia: ( can see breath as they talk) do the victim work here?
Jim: no, and I have not Idea how that get into the zoo see it was lock up for the night or how they get in here.
Sofia: let start take photo so we can spend as little time as we have too.
Sarah: I agree.
 
It makes me cold just reading the story. I feel bad for the team because I hate being sick. Having your stomach hurt all the time and throwing up is not fun.
 
Part Thirty- Three
Sarah and Sofia had finish take the photo of the crime scene and the coroner still had not show up yet so they start collect the evidence that was not near the body; which they was a lot of to collect. Sofia start collect hair and other trace item that was left at the scene, Sarah start swab the blood pool and Jim Brass help them out by dust for fingerprints.

Sofia: I can’t tell if this is polar bear hair or victim hair?
Sarah: collect it all and put it in a evidence bag.
Sofia: where is the coroner at?
Sarah: I have no clue. DR. Lee is the one that work tonight, so she is probably really busy.
Sofia: our is try to see how long we can stay in a freeze cold area without get sick!
Sarah: I’m sure that not it, see that half the LVPD Night shift is already out sick.
Sofia: what ever, I just hope she get here soon.

Two hour later Dr. Lee come into the polar bear area and walk over to Sarah, Sofia and Jim Who by now are Shivering because they have been work in the polar bear area for four hours. By now Sofia is also really mad at Dr. Lee for take four hour to get to the crime scene.

Sofia: What take you so long, did you save as for last so we could get sick?
Dr. Lee: No, I had to finish an autopsy before I could head out to any of the crime scene. I want to Gil Grissom crime scene first because it was close to the lab, then I come here.
Sofia: You should come here first, see that the bodies of the victim are sit on top of ice and because of cross- contamination!
Dr. Lee: I’ll take the body back to the lab and check for time of death there, it to cold in here for the instrument to work.
Sarah: that fine, me and Sofia will meet you back at the lab to get the evidence off the ten bodies and to take photo of any bruise.

Sarah, Sofia pack up the evidence in the back of the SUV. Then get into the SUV to head back to the lab. Sarah put the SUV into driver and start back toward the lab. Sarah and Sofia talk on the way back to the lab.

Sarah: Sofia what your deal today, I never see you lose it at anyone like you do tonight with Dr. Lee?
Sofia: I don’t like the cold, and I’m PMS.
Sarah: try to keep calm when we go to collect the evidence off the bodies at the coroner lab.
Sofia: I will

They get back to the lab and check in the evidence before head to the coroner lab. The two CSI walk into the coroner lab and each take a body and collect the evidence and take picture of the body. They did this to all ten bodies had been done. They then Leave so Dr. Lee go start work on the bodies.

Sofia: Sarah I need to go check my message in Ecklie office,; which is my temporary office to Ecklie get back and work on some paperwork that need to be done so Catherine, Warrick, Nick, Wendy, Bobby get pay for the sick leave they doctor made them take.
Sarah: Ok, I go check in with Wendy in DNA, Then Dale in Ballistic.
Sofia: that sound good, I’ll meet back up with you when I finish with the paperwork.
Sarah: ok

Sarah walk to the DNA lab first and find Wendy busy at work run DNA on the swab they bring in for tonight along with finish run the DNA for Butterfeld academy. Sarah pull over one of the lab table chair and sit down and smile really big at Wendy.

Sarah: Wendy good to see you back, how are you feel?
Wendy: better, Greg call me and tell me you are pregnant with twin and that Grissom the father.
Sarah: yeah I am and yes he the father.
Wendy: I’m happy for you. I also have some info on DNA for the Butterfeld Academy shoot. Dale sent me the swab with blood on that he find on the gun at the scene, it had more then just victim blood the shoot blood was on it to. And both of the shoot blood I get a hit off CODIS. To a Harry Pat and Helen Pat (here the print out)
Sarah: thank, Anything on the zoo case yet?
Wendy: no, but I’ll pager as soon as I do.
Sarah: ok, see later

Sarah stand up and let Wendy get back to work. She then head over to talk to Dale about the bullet Cartridges.
 
* note name of the victim of the school shoot along with the shooting name I made up.
Part Thirty- Four
Sarah walk up to the door of Ecklie office; which is Sofia temporary office. She knock on the close office door and wait for a answers, after a few minutes she knock again this time she hear Sofia move around.

Sofia:( big yawn) who there?
Sarah: It me Sarah, can I come in?
Sofia: yeah

Sarah open the office door and walk in and take a sit in the chair in front of the desk and hand Sofia the print out that Wendy give her on the Butterfeld Shooting. She looks at it for a few minutes.

Sofia: At lest we caught a break then, did Wendy have any info on the zoo case?
Sarah: no not yet she said as soon has she had any she would pagers me. I am meet Jim over at P.D. to talk to Harry Pat and Helen Pat. I check in with Dale and the gun we find at the scene were the only two guns that were use in the Butterfeld shoot.
Sofia: Yawn, Ok fill me in on how it goes when you get back.
Sarah: will you fill Gil Grissom on the Butterfeld case?
Sofia: Yeah, I will Sarah

Sarah gets up and heads out to the park lot and gets into her car and goes to Police Department to talk to the two suspects from the Butterfeld shoot. Sofia put away the paperwork she was try to work on, but do not get anywhere on. She picks up the printout that Sarah hand her and slow stand up from her desk chair and walk toward Gil Grissom office. When she get there his door is open and all the light are off. She walks into the office and put the printout on his desk. So when he gets back to the lab he will see it. Sofia then look at her watch and check the time, she decide she going to go to the locker room and take a long steaming hot shower in the staff showers. To see if that would warm her up, because it has been an hour and half since Sarah and she has left the Crime scene of the polar bear house at the Las Vegas zoo and she is still freeze cold. She think to herself as she get under the steaming hot water I can’t be getting sick, I never get sick and I even get a flu shoot this year. When she finish take a shower and has get dress she look at the time on her watch and see that she was in the shower for two hour. Meanwhile doing the time Sofia was take a shower Sarah and Jim Brass was at the police department in Interrogative number one. First they interview Harry Pat, which take about a half hour. After they finish with Harry Pat they take a break, once back from the break they interview fifteen year old Helen Pat, about the Butterfeld Academy school shooting.

Jim Brass: Helen Pat do you want a child advocate in the room with you doing the interview?
Helen Pat: (look at lawyer) No I did not want a child advocate. I’m a teenage, not a child. Our can’t you tell the different between a child and a teenage!
Jim Brass: The Lady stand next to me is CSI Sarah Sidle, she work for Las Vegas crime lab. She is going to be ask you some question I will be tape record this interview.
Sarah: Can you tell me where you was on Monday morning and afternoon?
Helen: (rolls her eyes at Sarah) In school till around 12: 30pm then I went home sick.
Sarah: why do you go home sick?
Helen: My stomach was bother me.
Sarah: Did you go see the nurse and get a pass to leave school?
Helen: No, I just left.
Sarah: what was you doing before you left school on Monday?
Helen: I was have a fight with my ex-boyfriend Tom Smart.
Sarah: Do you know that Tom Smart is dead?
Helen:(has a smile on her face) No, when did he dead?
Sarah: Monday at Noon. What was you did at that time?
Helen: In the restroom sit next to a toilet, hope that I was not going to throw up!
Sarah: No, you not tell the truth, I find a gun at the scene and it had you fingerprint and you blood on it, along with the blood of the five people you shooting in the head several time!
Helen: You’re the one that Lie!
Sarah: no I’m not I also talk to other student that go to Butterfeld Academy. They place you at the scene with a gun in your hand shooting Tom Smart, Carly Pen, Alex van, Jamie Gay, and Jorja Rock.
Helen: laugh
Sarah: why are you laugh this is not a laugh matter?
Helen: Because it funny that you would care for jock like them, see that the make fun of people who are geek.
Sarah: did that make fun of you?
Helen: of cause everyday.
Sarah: even Tom you said you date him?
Helen: he just use me to get into my pants, I was sick of the way they treat me so I snap and shoot them, along with my twin bother he shoot the other five victim Normal Day, Amy Smart, Dacey Buggies, John Teps and Sam Fan.
Sarah: I know that I talk to him before you, he flat out tell Jim and I that he kill these five people because you made him. Jim arrested her.
 
I like how you took something so real life and put it in your fic. Alot of people who are made fun of on a daily basis will eventually snap, mostly doing something very disasterious because of the verbal punishment they recieve from such people as Jocks and Preps, I on the other hand make the preps cry when they try to put me down. The sad reality is that most people have to say harsh things about others to place themselves in a higher rank of thinking, making themselves feel more vaulable from a low self esteem. (enough of the philosophical things) Anyway, the fic is really good and i can't wait to read more, Keep up the good work!!!
 
I like how one of the victims was Jorja Rock, that is awesome except the character is dead now. Sometimes the kids that are bullied end up being the bullies, it is so sad. I love the story though.
 
Part Thirty-Five
Sarah pulls her car back in to the crime lab park lot and into the first open space. She look at the time and she that it is now 5:45 am on Friday morning. She sit in her car for a few minutes with her eyes close. After a few minutes she make her self get our of the car and head back into the crime lab. The first stop she make is to DNA to see if Wendy has any info for Sofia and her because she has not her from her yet. When she walk into the DNA she see Wendy work on the backlog evidence.

Sarah: any thing on the DNA from the zoo case?
Wendy: it was all victim blood, sorry I could help you, but Dr. Lee find that all five of the female victim was rape, the Semen match the semen find at the scene. I’m still run a search on CODIS to see if I get any match, four the two different Male DNA.
Sara: so there was two men that rape the women and kill them.
Wendy: yeah, I already tell Sofia.
Sarah: ok, hopeful Trace, toxic, ballistics or AFIS we turn up some result along with CODIS.
Wendy: I hope so to, I need to get back to work now.

Sarah leave the DNA lab and head to the break room. When she get to the break room she see Sofia hold a coffee mug in her hands and stare at it. Sarah walk over and get herself a cup of coffee. Then sit down across from Sofia, who is still stare at her full mug of coffee. Sarah take a sip of her coffee.

Sofia: how, yawn, the interview go with Harry and Helen Pat?
Sarah: Harry interview take a half a hour, then he tell us he help his sister shoot the five victim. After Harry interview Brass and I take a fifteen minute break then interview Helen. Her interview take us a hour.
Sofia: that would be a whole two hour away form the lab in could travel time to and back. Did Helen admit to kill five of the victim.
Sara: Yeah at the very end of the interview. You have not drink any of you coffee yet it gonna to get cold!
Sofia: I don’t really like coffee.
Sarah:( Sofia yawn again) then way do you get a mug of coffee then Sofia?
Sofia: because it warm, yawn.
Sarah: are you tire Sofia?
Sofia: No, I’m exhaust, and I have cramp.
Sarah: go home get some sleep, I’ll cover the last few hours of the shift on my own.
Sofia: are you sure Sarah?
Sarah: yeah, It not like there much to do beside wait on test result, and to see if AFIS or CODIS get a match.
Sofia: thank I see you tonight.

After Sofia leave Sarah get up and walk over to the break room couch and slip her shoes off. She then lays down and close her eyes. Gil walk into the break room when the shift ends and get Sarah up.

Gil: (shake her) Sarah wake up we can go home now night shift is over.
Sarah: Ok, I’m up

Sarah and Gil head out to Sarah car seen that what they come to work in the night before and head home. When they get home Sarah goes and take a shower while Gil make them some breakfast. Sarah head downstairs to the kitchen after she get out of the shower and had put on her PJ. Once in the kitchen she take a seat at the table and Gil hand her a plate with three pancakes and two piece of toast with strawberry jam on them, he then join her a the table with his own plate.

Sarah: the pancake are really good honey.
Gil: Where was Sofia the last two hour of the shift?
Sarah: I had her go home and get some sleep. she had cramp. She was also exhaust, and could not stop yawn.
Gil: She take a two hour steaming hot Shower doing the time you was at P.D.
Sarah: I think she was have a hard time warm up after spend fours in a freeze cold polar bear house.
Gil: it sound like she get sick.
Sarah: yeah right she never get sick and she had a flu shoot this year.
Gil: look who talk you never get sick and you catch a cold this year.
Sarah: I’m sure she just need to get some sleep is all. Like we need to. See that Warrick, Catherine, Nick and Greg can’t come back to work to Tuesday.

Meanwhile at Sofia house, when she get home from work she take another two hour steaming hot shower. She then made her self some oatmeal, she is now stare at the bowl of oatmeal. And think to herself I know I need to eat, but I really do not have a appetite. She get up and throw out the oatmeal. She then walk into her bedroom and get into bed and cover herself up with her bedspread and fall right to sleep.
 
Part Thirty- Six
The next evening Sarah and Gil get up three hours early and head to the lab to see if Wendy, Bobby, and Frankie that work trace and Toxic have any info for them on the case they are work on. Meanwhile at Sofia house she get up one time that whole day. Which was three half hour before night shift start. She get up that time to answers the phone when it start ring, to find out it was someone calling to see if she want new windows. She hang the phone up on them and went into the kitchen and get a bottle of water out of the refrigerator. She then walk into the bathroom and open up the medicine cabinet. She reach inside and pulls out the bottle of Tums and take two out of the bottle. She put them in her mouth and chews them up them take a drink of the water, she then get out to Tylenol and take two of them for the headache she has. She then head back into her bedroom and set the alarm clock to go off at nine o’clock, so she could get up and ready for work. When Sofia alarm clock goes off at nine she slow get out of bed and throw on a pair of jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt on, she the goes into the bathroom and brush her tooth and pull her hair up into a pony tail. She walk out of the bathroom and grab her coat and put on, then put her shoe on. She walk to the door and pick up her car keys and purse. Then goes out to her car and heads to work. Once at the Lab she head to the break room and meet up with Gil and Sarah.

Gil: They no new case as of yet, so continue to work on one you start last night. I’m head to P.D. to interview a suspect. I check in with you two when I get back to the lab. Oh and Sofia you still need to get the paperwork in for Wendy, Bobby, Catherine, Greg, Warrick and Nick to get pay for they sick leave.
Sofia: I’ll go do that right now.
Sara: I’m going to go talk to Bobby he should be in his lab now.

Sofia goes to her temporary office and being the paperwork and she make herself finish even there she ache all over and still has a really bad headache and upset stomach. She refuse accept she is get sick or let her co-work know how she feel. Sarah goes and talk to Bobby in the Ballistics lab. Bobby look up when Sarah walk into his lab room and give her a big smile.

Sarah: nice to see you back at work how are you feel?
Bobby: a lot better, thanks. I can tell you that both guns that was use was 357 SIG.
Sarah: thank, now if CODIS or AFIS can give me the name of both men, Sofia and I would have two suspect to interview and search they homes.
