The name rings a bell now - was he the friend of the killer or something? I've just checked IMDB for the character, but that doesn't help much

No, he was the guy playing the loud stereo at the car gathering area when Nick and Catherine were hanging out doing their research. He was funny, actually.

I guess to get techincal, he was an actor who was on all three, Carmine that is, but only Horatio was in the way of characters. Nice catch though.

Thanks for all your help everyone... i have now discovered that i brought the wrong question to the board... the correct question is this "One of the CSI:NY regulars has appeared in all 3 CSI Shows. Name the actor?"

i've got a question. i can't figure out which episode of CSI started with Grissom and Catherine watching a sex tape with a murder on it (girl's throat slashed i think). anyone has any idea which ep i'm talking about?

I think you might be referring to the 8th episode of season 3 called "Snuff." It was about a 'snuff' film (a pornographic film in which someone dies) that contained a real murder. Hope that helps. :)

What did Grissom find out about Doc Robbins in Getting Off? I watched it but kept falling asleep and missed that part.

Doc. Robbins used t be a drug addict. It was revealed when Grissom said something about being a drug addict forever even if you quit.

Got another question. What was the final scene in Bad to the Bone supposed to signify, with Gris and the bloody coat he took from the evidence bag?

^^
I read over the episode transcript since I haven't seen it in awhile. Grissom said that Walter was 38 and that he just had his first arrest, so he wondered what he had been doing up til now. My guess is he was just starting to continue to process the rest of Walter's stuff (seeing as he never threw anything out) to see if there were any other victims out there.
