uhhh, guys? purleez don't squash me. but what is this "I love you" sign?

you guys have mentioned it a few times...and i'm just sitting nodding ;)

Dosen't it mean "I love you" in sign language??
My mom and i used to use that sign when she dropped me off for kindergarten. [/fun fact]

^Yeah, my mom is a deaf educator and that sign does mean "I Love You" in ASL. All the time I was growing up my mom and sibs and I would often use sign language to communicate, and that was the first sign I learned :) My sister is still fluent, but my sign isn't great.

As for convincing a friend about the Love.. I wouldn't know how to go abouts doing that, because I don't know a soul who doesn't ship it! I mean, there are those that don't care so much, but nobody actually dislikes or disagrees with the Love. The only objection I ever meet comes from homophobes or my sister, who wants to keep Greg all to herself ;) I would say that for me, it never really occurred to me to ship these two. Then when I got involved in Talk, and saw that it was a ship, I started looking for N/G moments on the show. The more I looked, the more I found, and the more I realised that these two are evidently meant to be together. :D

^^so true who doesn't like this ship my sister says she doesn't care for it but when she see it she doesn't go lame like all my other ships and my other sister likes it i know she does she just wont admit it she's the one that asked me about it. Im the one in the family who likes all the slash couples.

I guess 4 me is when I was crusing the internet and found this forum on Google, and then found the Nick and Greg LJ journal, and the nickandgreg.com =D.
after I read the stories and seen the pics I started watching the CSI epis for Nick/Greg scenes (I started watching CSI pretty Late) and started to get clips of them =D and I totally fell in love with the idea of them getting together =D
 
Same here. I came here because I adore Greg and this thread provided me lots of photos of him. I just got intrested and began reading fanfic...got hooked!

(2 B honest, the first CSI slash I started reading was Greg/Grissom, I still like reading and writing G & G but my heart belongs to N & G) :)
 
Hm... Well, I watched CSI from the start and I always loved the younger men of the show (including Warrick) but, I guess subconsciously I decided that Nick and Greg were together or should be. It wasn't like huge revelation or anything but after all those boy-touching clips and little moments only they shared I was just like "hm. These two would make a nice couple." It wasn't until later, I figured out about all the fanfiction and forums.
 
I guess for me, it was all the lingering touches, the "looks of love" and all that jazz.

i asked myself "who the hell says these 2 aren't doing it/wanting to"

ahem. ;)

edit: also the actors, at award shows and things...george seemed very possessive and more touchy feely...i'm pretty sure it's not just me that sees that too!
