I know that the season just ended, but I cannot remember the time when the new seasons usually start. I am thinking around September..anyone know for sure?

I've heard rumors it could start as early as September 3rd, but that seems slightly early to me. Anything is possible with CSI though! ;)

does any one know the name of the epsiode where eric gets beat up by two guys and they steal something important of his

Hm, it sounds like two episodes you're refering to. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

But, Eric did get beaten up in season two's 'Extreme' by two men who were hiding a 'chop shop' that Eric happened to uncover. One of the men was punched by Eric and lost a contact lense, which was how they were able to find him. So they didn't steal anything important from him here.

The second instance, season three, (I think it was 'Killer Date'?)Eric was 'toothing' (basically a one night stand) and she stole his badge, leading to her brother (I believe) impersonating a police officer to gain cocaine from the back of a trunk.

Hopefully this helps, if not someone else may be able to be of more assistance. :)

TV.com and IMDB.com do not list Jensen Ackles as ever being on any of the CSI shows.

no it's definitely him, i'm sure. i checked the credits the other week. he was in smallville and i recognised him.
