04 - The text and the cup don't really seem to belong to the icon, it's not very harmonical
09 - The text is hardly readable and draws the attention away from the main subject
06 - I like the icon, but her face is a bit too bright

15 - I like the violet splash, and the crop itself isn't bad, but the picture is so dark that it takes away from the overall appeal. Bringing up the highlights and midtones would really lend a lot to this.
08 - Orange as a splash colour works well, but the crop is a little extreme.. generally speaking, cutting someone off in the middle of a facial feature (her left eye) isn't appealing. Probably a little too much contrast, as well. I do like the swirly.
06 - Maybe this is too much of a personal preference (sorry if it is!), but the extreme lightspot kind of drowns out the overall presentation. I do like the crop.. maybe your splash colour should be given a little more of a boost, too.

14 - I like the entire layout, and the green is awesome.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's that time again! But, before we get to the results, I'd like to announce that the next challenge will be the Comeback Challenge. Those of you who are still in cannot enter this challenge, so take a nice, well deserved break :D Those who are eligible to enter are anyone who is listed under who's out in the first thread (including those eliminated in this challenge). I absolutely, positively, love black and white icons, so as you can imagine, this round was a tough one for me :lol: But I think this icon really deserves it. It may be a little on the dark side (colour wise, of course :p), but I think it works with the overall feel of the icon, giving it a nice effect. Great work!
