Though you might want to wait for her to answer ;) I believe that you can use the eraser tool etc just as long as you don't use the brush tool to feel in a different coloring.

^^Dont worry Im waiting :lol: Although yes or no is a simple answer ;) Come to think of it, I think I was the one who asked this question in the last LIMs :lol:

I asked her if using the smudge tool would be considered as a brush and since it isn't I suggest everyone give it a go. Using the smudge tool can work wonders on icons ... just a heads up ;)

Meg, I was wondering if you've got my entry. I'm having some crazy issues with sending PM's ... for some reason sometimes they get sent back to me :wtf: I've even tried different browsers and still get the same problem.

Ok, thanks :) I have no idea why they're ending up getting back to me. For some reason when I send a message, almost immediately it gets sent back and there's a red notification saying I have a new pm :lol:

LIMS 7 Round 8 - Voting!

We have 2 people using their skips this round
1 person has had to withdraw due to a lack of photoshop :(
1 person has failed to submit an entry

Voting Rules:
~ Absolutely anyone may vote! You don't have to be an 'expert' ;)
~ Vote for the Top 3 of least quality, and the Top 2 of best quality.
~ Votes for least quality Must have a reason, or they will not be counted. Reasons for best quality are strongly encouraged

(the following examples may have been "borrowed" from other sources)

Good Examples:
34: Text is oddly placed
50: Icon is over sharpened
62: Image is too blurry

Poor Examples:
96: I don't like the colour (personal preference)
52: Tiny text/decorative brushes are unreadable (it's supposed to be that way)

Yes'm ! Hate this part though!

Least:

05: Her face is too closely coloured to the background, she doesn't really stand out. The font/text is also a little too pixely.

10. The focus is really off here, the background texture is distracting. Also, it looks like a bit of texture was left on her face.

06. The icon is too bright, Valera looks washed out. Also, the eye colour is too intense.

Best:
03. Excellent crop, the icon is crisp and bright with a nice font/text to balance it out.

01. Interesting crop and colouring effect, it works well with the font. It has a really nice oldies feel to it.
