Supernatural

I think it was up against CSI last year, as well... I'm not really sure because I didn't see it throughout the season while they were both running new episodes... I kinda wondered about it too, being up against CSI and Grey's Anatomy. But personally it has absolutely no affect on me, since I watch it Friday's on SPACE anyways. I wonder how many people do that as well... because they wouldn't include that in the ratings, which kinda worries me, because maybe there's lots more people watching than they think, and I don't want them to EVER cancel it! I honestly don't think there's any risk, but still, the mere thought of it... *dies*

I think it's going to do really well greenplastic. Even though it's against CSI: it has a broad and loyal fanbase so I think it'll do great.

You're right quickbeam_cw. It did go up against CSI: last year too. Like you though, I don't care what it's up against and that doesn't steer me away from watching it just because Grey's Anatomy and CSI: come on at the same time. Since I'm able to watch CSI: episodes via video anyways, I watch Supernatural on Thursdays. I agree with that quickbeam_cw! Just because fans may not watch the show on Thursdays, doesn't mean they're aren't fans out there watching it some other way [video, website, etc] and if they were to include those numbers in the ratings then I think Supernatural would be pretty high up there on the list.

NO!! They CAN'T cancel Supernatural!! That would be TERRIBLE! I need that show to live! I don't even want to think about the showing going off the air... I'm not worried about it though since it's doing so well and to take off a brillant show like Supernatural off the air would truly be tragic.

I think they switched it mid-season to another night if I remember correctly.

I get NY and LA CW networks, so I can watch Supernatural earlier or I watch CSI earlier on an east coast CBS. Cable timeshifting really aids my television viewing schedule What would really help is if CTV aired the show because then there'd be no problem (like Grey's Anatomy and CSI).

Yes, you're right. During the first half of the season it came on Tuesdays but the 2nd half of the episodes showed on it's new and current day of the week, Thursdays.

OMG!!! *SQUEE!!!!* "Everybody Loves A Clown" was, IMO, fantastic! Uber-creepy... *shudder* Clowns....

There's just so much to say, but I won't go too in depth right now, don't want to go too spoilery for those of you who haven't seen it.

But, I do want to tell of my love for Sam's slight fear of clowns -- OMGYAY!!! Hehehe! And, my theory as to the reason for it: When he was little, and The Demon killed Mary, Sam had a clown mobile hanging over his crib, didn't he? So now he's been like, subconsciously scarred for life... so wonderful, lol. Hehe!

And, like I said, there's SOOOOOOO much more about this ep that I loved, but if I went into detail, I'd be here all night. Oh Sam and Dean! *swoon*

Speaking of pics, this is one of my favorite Jensen pics. It's quite recent I think.

 

Clowns never bothered me. When I was young, a couple family friends would dress up as clowns for my birthday parties. But I do gotta say that that clown in the episode, just staring with that look on his face and waving like that was creepy!!

"Everybody Loves Clowns" was a brilliant episode! I loved pretty much everything about it! OMG! Sam's fear of clowns is too adorable for words!! I loved it! All the things I love about this show was there:

-Angst
-Brotherly Banter
-Angry & Sad moments between Sam and Dean
-Dean!Humor and Sam's laugh

and well the whole episode was incredible!

To anwser your question quickbeam_cw: No, Sam didn't have have a clown mobile as a baby. He had a baseball themed one. The baby Rose from "Salvation" had a clown mobile.

 

Oh darn, I was really hoping it was Sam's mobile. I knew I definitely remembered seeing it, but couldn't remember whether it was in a flashback to baby!Sammy or not... shucks. :lol:

Nevertheless, I'm still totally in love with the fact that Sam's got a bit of a clown phobia. Hehe! Oh Sam.

And poor Dean and his poor Impala! He'll fix it eventually, but I wonder how he's going to explain the busted up trunk to Sam... Hmm... speaking of the Impala, I have another question for pondering: how come the entire thing is no longer shiny after the accident? I mean, obviously it's in rough shape, but the parts that didn't get crunched up should still be reasonably shiny black, and yet the whole body of the car looks quite dull and old and all-around crapacular. What's up with that?

Poor Sam and Dean... so emotionally broken. Maybe if I hug them repeatedly and for extended periods of time it will help? :devil: :lol:

Ooh, and one more thing - that toque that Jensen's wearing costs 125 bucks?! Who pays 125 bucks for a friggin' toque? Just because it's cashmere and Ralph Lauren... In any case, very hot pictures.

I remember in 'Everyone Loves a Clown', in the overhead shot that the front was a bit shiny...and Dean took all the doors off, so maybe they're still all nice and pretty....and...I dunno.... :lol:
