Thanks for the heads up on that, Ginnna. I went ahead and ordered it at amazon so I wouldn't have to get out tomorrow... the stores are going to be insane tomorrow. It's safer just to stay off the roads. LMAO!

I'm gonna go nuts before January 21st though. As soon as I get Season 4, I'll probably start watching it so I can have my Cas fix. I can watch 1-3 for my fix of everyone else.

So, where you think Gabe sent Cas in "Changing Channels"?

GNRfan, Season 4 is on sale for $15 at amazon.com, AND they have seasons 1 - 3 for $13 each! Since I don't currently own any of the seasons on DVD, I told my parents "THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME GIFT YOU COULD GET ME, PLEEEEEEEEASE??"

My irresistible puppy-eyes (which I totally learned from Sam and Castiel) won them over... well, that and the ridiculously reduced prices.

Yeah, basically, they got me seasons 1 - 4 for the same price that a regularly priced season 2 would cost.

*flails wildly again*

Happy happy joy joy!!

Yeah, I totally love Best Buy :D while their prices for some of their electronics is a bit high for my taste, they do have some of the best deals on dvd's I bought seasons 1-4 of NY from them when they were on sale for 9.95 a piece and the same with Smallville.

I just had to come in here and say that I'm totally going to go crazy with no Supernatural until January :scream: and I'll probably end up doing what I do every Thursday that Supernatural comes on and play some more Sims ... I need to get cracking on making Castiel :/

 I was totally going to ask you if you made a Cas on your Sims game.

I love your banner by the way. I almost fell off the bed laughing when Cas downed all those shots. LMAO! Then the "I think I'm starting to feel something". :guffaw: I only wish Dean and Sam had been in the room when he said that and to see him down all of those shots. Sam would probably have that :wtf: look on his face and Dean would probably have had a smirk and said something about how he corrupted the angel.

Wow, what are we going to talk about for the next couple of months?!!

So... how do you think this is all going to end? What are your theories on the finale?

I think God will show up in some way, shape or form... even if he's not shown. Cas will get his full angel powers back. I think Gabriel will show up and end up killing Lucifer (after that "pep talk" from Dean about being afraid to stand up to his family). Cause Gabe being an arch angel he's more powerful than Cas who is just a regular angel. Lucifer was an arch angel, so I would think that an arch angel as powerful as Lucifer would have to be killed by another arch angel rather than a regular angel. So, Gabe fits the bill since Dean will never say yes to Michael.

I would also like it if Cas stayed with the brothers (if there's another season after this one). I think they should have a sixth season just to have an even number.

Or maybe Dean's not the only one who could be Michael's vessel. Maybe someone in his bloodline could be. Adam's out since he died (I think that was the half brother's name)... which leaves the possibility of it being Ben. I think a lot of us have doubts about Lisa's claim that Ben isn't Dean's son. I think Dean himself has those doubts. So what if Ben could be Michael's vessel? And what if the demons kill Lisa which ticks Ben off and he says yes to being Michael's vessel (Lillith did have a child vessel for a bit after all, so why couldn't Michael).

The brothers were in the same room when Cas said that. You could see it when Dean goes to Jo afterwards and starts talking to her.

By the way, I don't think Ben can be the vessel. Even if he would be Dean's son, he wouldn't be able to become the vessel. I think it was Gabriel who told the brothers that they were meant to be the vessels. Sam being Lucifer's vessel, and Dean would be Michael's. And Lilith was an demon. Even Ruby had different vessels. And just look at Lucifer, he has another vessel now, but he's starting to break down. Lucifer needs Sam to be complete.

They were in a small office in the corner of the room. Well, it was more of a large alcove, but it was far off enough in the corner that it seemed like a separate room. I don't think Dean and Sam saw Cas down all those shots though and I would have liked for them to have seen that. At first when Dean said "good god!" I thought he was talking about Cas downing the shots only to turn out that he was staring at Jo bending over. The same exact thing my brother said he himself was doing at that moment. My brother said he didn't even notice that Cas was drinking cause he was too busy staring at Jo. Boys will be boys I suppose.

How come Lucifer's vessel can't sustain him and physically messes up (the peeling skin) yet Raphael (also an arch angel like Lucifer-except Lucifer is fallen)... his vessel was physically all good, but mentally messed up? That's confusing.

Wouldn't it be neat to find out that when Dean was a baby an arch angel (Michael perhaps) put some angel blood in him like Azazel did to Sam? Although... Azazel was also a fallen angel, so wouldn't the blood in Sam be half angel/half demon?

Even if Ben couldn't technically be Michael's vessel (and why couldn't Michael use a temp one [like Lucifer is] until Dean said yes), would that stop Zach from threatening Dean with that possibility (to try to get him to say yes to Michael) if Ben were Dean's son?

Did they ever come out and say Azazel was an angel? I mean, I know there's scripture or whatever that he is, but as far as the show seemed to have us believe, he was a demon. I mean, he had the eyes and everything. I've yet to see an angel with the crazy eyes, yellow or black. Something makes me think Azazel was just a General level demon for old Lucky.

And as much as it pains me, I don't think Castiel is going to make it out of the end battle alive... Just a thought. A friend of mine thinks so too, but of course that doesn't make it so. And I hope I'm totally wrong, of course! ;)

Yeah, I don't think Azazel was supposed to be a fallen angel in the show. TPTB have diverged several times from scriptural accuracy. After all, Uriel is an archangel in scripture, but no one ever even hints at that in the show - he's just presented as a "specialist".

*sobs* Don't say that about Cas! It just can't happen! *sobs some more* I hope you and your friend are wrong (no offense... I mean, you hope the same thing). I've grown quite attached to the Spock-like angel. I'd hate for him to be smote and stay smote, or to be horribly ganked by a bunch of demons or by Luci himself.

Cas was already killed once (by an arch angel) yet he was ressurected (seemingly by God). This is why the other angels hate him so much. He's God's favorite "son" basically. He went against his orders (because he felt in his heart that they weren't coming from God) and yet he gets resurrected when he broke the rules (not following orders). Cas believes his main mission is looking after Dean. He was sent to be Dean's protector and I believe that he will keep on fighting, keep hanging on until he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Dean is safe.

Interestingly enough, I don't believe Lucifer has actually killed any angels yet. The angels that were killed were killed by other angels. Those who would not follow Uriel were killed by him. Uriel and others following Zach were killed by Cas. At least I think Cas killed Uriel. My memory is not the best.

I still think Azazel was another fallen on the show though. It's one thing to use the name of a arch angel and not make them anything more than a regular angel or "specialist"... but to use the name of a fallen angel and only say he's a demon... I just don't see them doing that (I mean why use a fallen's name from bible stories or whatever... why not just call him Jim, Tom, Dick, Harry, etc). None of the other demons had yellow eyes... they were all black eyed. Why would there only be one with yellow eyes? Isn't an angel's grace sort of yellowish in color? Azazel seemed to me to be a little more powerful than regular demons. Maybe he still had a little of his grace and that's why he could have yellow eyes. :shrugs:

If there is going to be a 6th season, I think Cas will be fine because there will probably be too many fans upset and sending angry mail to Kripke if he's not. Cas is pretty much as loved as Sam and Dean themselves by many fans. While people hated John getting killed, they were okay and dealt with it... but Cas is just different. In most shows they always either 86 the baby (by growing it up) or the parent(s) (of the main character/s) at least at some point... They do away with the baby because its hard to think of stories surrounding an infant/toddler in these kinds of shows and the whole thing of well where does the kid stay when its parents are off fighting baddies.

With the parents of the main characters dying, this happens so that the characters can grow up a little more... without the parents to fall back on, they can't still screw up and have their parents fix things for them or whatever. I mean, think Buffy's mom. She was killed off in what season 4 or 5? And then the bio dad was MIA/AWOL... and surrogate dad Giles left when he realized that his presence was keeping Buffy from growing up and learning to fly on her own wings so to speak.

Cas is like Angel to Dean's Buffy (only less broody and minus the romantic thing of course and adding the fact that he's an actual angel rather than a vampire with a soul that has the name/nickname Angel lol). He could have a spin-off show. Dean and Sam could make ocassional appearances (probably would be Dean more than Sam though lol). Maybe Cas and Bobby (and possibly Rufus) could team up for the spin-off. Or Cas, Bobby and Chuck/becky.

By the way, was it said on the show the name of Chuck's arch angel? I've read that Raphael was his arch angel protector, but I'm not sure if they've actually said that on the show.

Hey all your at 900 [something] mark, and I figured this might be a good time to inject a little start thinking about a new title, see we know we have awhile so that isn't a problem, you can either change it or keep it. The reason I am doing this now is to get you all thinking, you don't have to come to a decision or think up something now. Just keep it in the back of your minds, so everythings ready when the thread is. ;)

Oh, I wrote some title ideas down a while back.

Since I can't get this song out of my head:

"One Hot Angel, Two Cool Dudes"

or:

"Two Hunters, An Angel and The Apocalypse"

:D

I sort of think of Castiel as Sam and Dean's "Great Gazoo". And no, I definitely don't want him gone, but if the show does indeed finish up at the end of year 5 (and I really think it should, as much as I love it and will miss it), I imagine we're going to see some beloved characters dying. And I really fear Castiel will be one of them- I think he would sacrifice himself to save the world, as he's clearly developed a fondness for humanity.
I also don't think the devil will be killed, so much as banished again.

Just a few thoughts... ;)

I don't know what Great Gazoo is, so I can't comment on if Cas is that or not.

I'm still trying to have a little hope in Gabriel that he'll come through for them in the end. Other than Michael, I think he may be the only one who can actually kill Lucifer. Well, except for God himself.

I still like the "A Whole New Level of Freak" title

I agree with Baba, as much as I love this show, I think it needs to end after 5 seasons. It's not that I want it gone, it's just that I think running something too long can ruin it. I want Supernatural to end the way Kripke intends it, not the way that will get the best ratings or allow it to continue for another year, but the way it was meant to be.
