They're skippung from 6x06 to 6x10? Weird.

I really did enjoy "Still Life" the first time. Probably one of my faves so far from season 6. I'll probably end up rewatching it. :d

^^^The three episodes tptb skipped over all happen to feature the 'stache. No way it's a coincidence! But that does prove the theory that the 'stache was just a sweeps ratings ploy.

(ETA: Oh, technically we're still in the February sweeps, so never mind the theory...)

Moustache. That gave me nightmares. May it never return.
And his hair.

After 40 years, why doesn't Grissom know how his father died? :(
I would think Gil would have read the death certificate by now. Don't you think?

He probably would have read the certificate by this time; I'm sure he knows now why his father died. But after watching that scene again, I think he was going back to that time in his mind, when no one would tell him why such a thing happened. When he said, "No one would tell me why," even his facial expression and diction was that of a sad, bewildered little boy.

Grissom knows HOW is father died. That is, he knows the cause of death. WHY his father died, that I think he still doesn't know and really has no way of learning. The "why" is to found out their in mystical netherland that Grissom for all his science and learning can never really find out.

One of my all time favorite shows is St. Elsewhere. (for those who don't know it was a medical drama from the early to mid 80s) Towards the end of the shows run on of the doctors in working on his memiors...and he begins the book with a very good line that talks about his after all his training "...I know how people die. I still don't know why."

I was thought of that line when Grissom was talking about his father. He knows how his father died. He still doesn't know why it happened and why he (his father) had to leave his wife and young son.

I got thrown by the Kelly Gordon thing, thought they were showing Daddy's Little Girl...but that comes in a couple more weeks.

lol about the mustache, for some reason I don't recall it well.

LOL at the 'pornstache' and 'mustache of horror' thing.

I see what you mean about the bio changes...they changed the whole story on Grissom's dad. Sara's story's a bit changed too.

I was kept guessing through the ep, couldn't figure out what happened until the end.

I did kinda like Warrick and the kid, and I loved Gris and Cath and the confession, even if it isn't what's in the bio.
