Stella/Melina #4: The Law, The Order

I pulled my Due South books out and read something I'd missed in Melina's mini-bio before...she used to do a show called Leaving LA that was set in a coroner's office, and she had to be a coroner's trainee for a couple days as prep. She wound up attending a double homicide-suicide post-mortem...I found it interesting in light of her current role.

The other book lists her character as 5'1 115lbs...I just can't shake the thought that she's really a bit taller though. Or is it the shoes? I always wonder why TV lady cops wear heels anyway, you can't chase anyone in them lol
 
OMFG these pictures are absolutely AMAZING! Wow! Melina looks better than ever. It's one thing to see a few new pictures once in a blue moon but it's a real meal for the eyes with a whole stash of many photos from a photoshoot!

Now I see why my mind constantly drives on the Gutter Autobahn! She/Stella and Mac are the perfect match!
 
:lol: she's not 5'1, she's 5'8 1/2! :lol: I checked out every web about her I could find, they all pretty much say the same. If she WERE 5'1 , I'd be taller than her! :lol: I think she's a little over 100lbs, I'd say barely 110-115, like you said.

You're right :) She played Libby Galante. The show was around 1997. I didn't see anything of it, too bad :( But here's a picture in her Leaving LA days :D

athens, I was also wondering that. I think it might be a little bit more than that, as I am 1.70 m and Melina seems taller than me. But I don't know :rolleyes:

I should really watch any film Melina participated in. I have no idea if she has done a lot of them or not. Apart from CSI:NY, I have only seen her on Providence. Which is way better than nothing, but it could still be better :p Any of you have seen any of them, any where she has a major role, or one where you think her performance is outstanding? Just in case summer holidays are coming and I can always try to go and rent a DVD...Any idea?

Edited because I messed up with the series names. I said CSI, CSI:NY instead of Providence, CSI:NY. Sorry...
 
She starred in a TV-series, called Providence. She had the major role. She played a doctor, and the whole series was about her family and her relationships. It was good. Nothing to do with it.
 
CSI_Dani, than I should watch the movie 15 Minutes :D It's a great movie and Melina plays really well! She doesn't have a major role but she has a lot of screen time ;)
 
Try to get your hands on Due South: Victoria's Secret...if you get the DVDs of S1 from a video rental place or the library it's there...it's very different seeing her play the villain.

noealonso, thank you so much for the pictures? Are they from this week's Tony Awards? Did she went on stage? It seems like it, but...Anyway, she looks great, though some of them really have funny starnge faces. For example, no. 7 looks like a Sims2 character. Seriously, I don't know why, but it was the first impression it gave me. :lol: And no. 17 it's just...:rolleyes:...weird :p But this is what happens when someone takes photos in surprise, though it happens more when we are caping a video...
